== Appearance ==


Born and raised in a silverwillow grove within the forests of Leth Deriel, Ruea bears heritage to two of the Elven Clans. Her mother, a Mountain Elf, and her father, a Forest Elf. A lover of all things performance and art, Ruea currently serves as the Court Bard in Theren and enjoys playing hostess for numerous social gatherings as well as writing and directing plays for the Theren Theater.

She has a heart-shaped face, pointed ears, sparkling silver eyes and a straight nose. Her flaxen hair is very long and straight, and is worn pulled up in a cascading ponytail secured by several strands of tiny seed pearls. She has tanned skin and a slender figure.<br>
She is tiny for an Elf.<br>
She appears to be an adult.<br>
She is in good shape.<br>

She is wearing a delicate enameled oval locket, a white gold and moonstone wedding torque, a corseted silver brocade gown with gracefully draping triple-stranded pearl straps, a dainty silverwillow ring, and a platinum engagement ring set with a brilliant diamond rose.


Ruea has a softly featured face with high cheekbones, delicately pointing ears, dark lashes framing prismatic silver eyes and a fine, straight nose.  Her champagne-blonde hair is hip length and marked with a frost-white streak over one temple, and is worn pulled up in a cascading ponytail secured by a wispy chain of wyndeflowers flecked with lightning amethysts.  She has sun-kissed skin and a poised willowy figure.


She is petite for an Elf.


She appears to be an adult.

The serene Forest Elf strolls through the heart of a lonely wood, sunlight dappling through the trees and one large beam illuminating her from behind. Her lustrous flaxen hair falls in gently cascading waves from a braid threaded with seed pearls, framing her heart-shaped face and sparkling silver eyes. She is dressed in elegant finery, her skirt's hem brushing the forest floor and her head crowned with a platinum tiara. One of her hands is held aloft, raised gently to allow a tiny wren to land on it.

== History ==


She is wearing a pair of filigreed earrings set with molten-core diamonds, a silveress evening dress with asymmetrical folds, a thin silverwillow chain bracelet dangling a faceted sana'ati heart, a scorched witchclaw band inlaid with a lurid purple crystal knot, a dusk-hued feyweave purse clasped with a nightfire opal and a pair of high heeled slippers with slender ankle straps. <br>
Ruea was born in a forest in "the south", which is all she has ever been interested in saying regarding it. Her parents worked as traders, and she learned Common from the sailors who came to do business with her father. These men were usually backwater and rough-around-the-edges which has resulted in her having a strong accent, and a tendency to become vulgar when irritated. Most of this accent has been cultured out of her, but still surfaces occasionally. She was a loved child, but her parents were distracted. Eventually she got bored and decided to see what else there was to do in the world.


== Personal Life ==
After spending a brief time in Crossing she relocated to the province of Shard. Well liked and easy to get along with, Ruea grew to develop many lasting friendships and a firm loyalty to Ilithi. At the encouragement of her adoptive parents she joined the militia, but left shortly afterward to accept the position of Court Bard in the year 398. She is currently married to [[Kougen]] Aensworth.
Ruea prefers to keep her personal life out of the public eye, though it is known that she has been married three times throughout her life. Her first marriage to an Elven male by the name of Kougen. Her second marriage to a human male by the name of Traim. And her third marriage to an Elven male by the name of Elec. At present, Ruea remains unattached with no immediate interest in settling down again any time soon.

After arriving she went through a series of exciting and chaotic adventures, some of which are worth mentioning.<br>
Most aren't.<br>
Even tempered but occasionally dryly sarcastic, she enjoys expensive clothes and shiny jewelry.<br>
She currently spends her time in Therengia, hosting plays and events for the Theren Theater where she serves as Court Bard.
