Arrival and Greeting

[Milene's Rose, Tavern]
Roomy and rectangular, the tavern for Milene's Rose is always busy, but strangely never so full that it becomes unbearably crowded. A booth in the corner allows for privacy, and a bar offers service for the thirsty and the hungry. There is little sign of disarray anywhere. You also see a shaggy husky puppy, a luxurious nightsilk cloth embroidered with opulent bands of gold with several things on it, a coppery saluki puppy flaunting a goldenglow glaes collar and jadeleaf snood, a furry-footed snow lynx with a luscious white coat tipped in icy silver that is sitting and the publican.
Also here: Sarugar, Valynn, Riverlynn, Firehawk Casari, Cateress Allye, Mountain Lord Ezerak, Niliaevat Raesh Isen Malorna who is circled by ephemeral phantom sharks, Lord Knight Hebion, Leviathan Friend Lupdels, Bioexorcist Karthor, Bookkeeper Parkons, Mageling Aerilia, Tempest Knight Saragos, Holy Lash Nawain who is sitting, Roughneck Rileos, Black Fox Xionara, Heart Tender Kethrai, Sofina, Fearless Crobin, Ruea and Desert Dancer Zersha.
Obvious exits: east.

Lupdels says to Karthor, "Oh damn."

Lupdels frowns.

Allye beams at Parkons!

(Nawain eyes the cloth as if trying to decide if anything looks like food. She frowns after a moment and goes back to her scribbling.)

Riverlynn smiles at Ruea.

The publican places a dram of Shorka's Venom on the bar.

Valynn motions toward a luxurious nightsilk cloth embroidered with opulent bands of gold.

Ezerak says to Maraisel, "Thank you. I thought she would."

Anuril takes his rightful place beside Kethrai.

Urbaj's sophisticated retainer gives him a curt nod before walking off.

Ruea says, "There are usually snacks if you're nice to Allye, she's perfection incarnate."

Kethrai places his hands on Anuril's shoulders and directs a soft, rumbling purr in his direction as Kethrai presses his forehead against Anuril's.

Casari gets a slice of chocolate fudge cake from atop a luxurious nightsilk cloth embroidered with opulent bands of gold.

Gwenddolyn nods in agreement.

Casari takes a bite of the cake.

Veteran Apprentice Anuril goes east.

Casari says, "Mmm, cake."

Allye grins sheepishly.

Sothios just arrived.

Zynell clasps Sothios's hand tenderly and draws him into her arms.

Veteran Apprentice Anuril just arrived.

Anuril takes his rightful place beside Kethrai.

Crobin gives Sothios a brotherly hug, ruffling his hair with his knuckles.

Zynell hugs Crobin, who wraps his arms around Zynell with a warm smile.

Imroth gets a tiny crustless cucumber sandwich from atop a luxurious nightsilk cloth embroidered with opulent bands of gold.

Ruea says to Allye, "If later someone attacks you and steals that dress, I assure you I had nothing to do with it."

Ezerak says to Casari, "It is excellent cake at that."

Ruea takes a sip of her wine.

Sothios gives Crobin a brotherly hug, rubbing his scalp with his knuckles.

Valynn offers Rileos a generous dram of Chelsea Estate's Special Reserve scotch.

Maraisel takes a bite of the cake.

Allye says to Ruea, "I will be sure to remember that."

Allye grins at Ruea.

Crobin asks, "Aww who's puppy?"

A coppery saluki puppy flaunting a goldenglow glaes collar and jadeleaf snood snuffles all over a furry-footed snow lynx with a luscious white coat tipped in icy silver, checking whether it might be something to eat or play with.

Valynn hums to herself.

Ruea chuckles.

Imroth nibbles on his cucumber sandwich.

Valynn says to Crobin, "I think it's Nawain's."

Ezerak says, "Quite the turnout. I hope my lecture does not disappoint."

Malorna pets a shaggy husky puppy.

The husky puppy playfully growls, its mouth open in a happy grin and its tail wagging enthusiastically.

Lupdels smiles at Ezerak.

Crobin chuckles.

Valynn ponders.

Malorna says, "The shaggy one is mine."

Xionara softly says, "Will see."

Nawain says, "Which one? Mine's the saluki."

Xionara glances at Ezerak.

Crobin says, "Well LC will have friends then."

Xionara flashes a wide grin.

Xionara tilts her ears forward playfully.

Xionara's tail undulates lazily through the air.

Saragos gets a snifter of Empire brandy from atop a bar.

Ruea leans on Rileos.

Valynn says to Crobin, "There are a lot of puppies. I hope I don't trip. I'll just lean on the bar all night."

Saragos takes a sip of his brandy.

Valynn winks at Imroth.

Theory Presentation

Ezerak says, "Welcome, and thank you for joining us as we honor and celebrate my wife, Ayrell Evyntine."

Allye takes a sip of her tea.

Valynn takes a sip of her scotch.

Ezerak says, "Before we begin discussing theories, in Ayrell's honor, I have prepared a brief lecture on some of Ayrell's research into wild magic, based on her own lectures, and her notes we recently discovered."

Allye nods to Ezerak.

Ezerak says, "I know that I am a poor substitute for her, when it comes to lectures. I cannot compare to her intelligence, nor her patience, and least of all, to her beauty. So I will keep it as brief as possible."

Riverlynn gazes silently at Ezerak.

Nawain gazes at Ezerak.

Lupdels takes a sip of his sherry.

Ruea says, "He also doesn't look as good in a dress."

Ruea gazes at her fingernails.

Crobin says, "Aww give yourself some credit."

Karthor chuckles.

Forest Sprite Lileath just arrived.

Ezerak grins at Ruea, his dimples flashing into view.

Crobin looks at Ezerak and drools.

Casari says, "Need to see that to be sure."

Imroth pats Ezerak on the back.

Ezerak nods at Ruea, obviously agreeing with her views.

Riverlynn smirks at Crobin.

Valynn gazes at Ezerak.

Ezerak says, "With all of that said, I will begin with some information regarding Ayrell's theory."

Allye chortles softly at some secret joke.

Imroth chuckles at Crobin.

Kethrai angles his ears forward, gazing curiously at Ezerak.

Knight Errant Trajan just arrived.

Ezerak says, "On the evening of day 341, in the year 449, Ayrell hosted a gathering here to discuss something she had been working on, a theory regarding Wild Magic. That the Heralds may be involved, and may be in some sort of conflict with the Immortals."

Zersha takes a sip of her tea.

Valynn gets a thin diary bound in suede from inside her forest shroud.

Ezerak says, "Many of you in this very room..."

Valynn unlatches and opens her thin diary.

Ezerak casually observes the area.

Zersha cocks her head at Ezerak.

Valynn looks at Ezerak and jots down some notes.

Ezerak says, "Dismissed this idea, or told her reasons why she was wrong. Maraisel and I have recently discovered her notes on the subject, which I have thoroughly reviewed through the lens of my own observations of recent events."

Ezerak says, "This review has lead me to believe that the Heralds are probably involved, likely in some sort of conflict with the Immortals, and are certainly responsible for the abduction of Ayrell, as well as Navesi, Dantia, Miskton, and Mazrian."

Aerilia tilts her head to one side.

Zersha nibbles her lip thoughtfully.

Ezerak says, "At that gathering, on the 341st day of last year, Ayrell had barely begun to speak of her theory, before we all felt that uncomfortable feeling of having attracted attention, of being watched."

Xionara frowns.

Allye coils her tail, looping it loosely around her waist.

Ezerak says, "We all felt that feeling at several events, both before and after Ayrell's gathering, usually when one of the five missing was speaking on the subject of wild magic."

(Crobin steps back and around to the back again his ears moving back and forth listening to the group)

Ezerak says, "I cannot help but feel that this discussion of her theory was directly related to the abduction. Besides the feelings of drawing attention, the timing is suspect. The abduction occurred only eleven days after the discussion, when the missing continued to push with their experiments. It is too coincidental that so close to drawing their attention that she was taken from us. She must have been getting too close to the truth."

Ezerak rubs his right eye.

Imroth ponders.

Ezerak says, "Forgive me... I am getting ahead of myself."

Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.

Ezerak says, "I wanted to start with a reminder of some of the points from Ayrell's theory that stand out even more now than they did back then. But I worry I will do her words injustice if I try to use my own, so I've done my best to memorize the notes she used that night."

Kethrai trills softly at Ezerak.

(Ezerak's voice catches for a moment. He clears his throat and continues.)

Ezerak says, "In her words: "Many of you may recall my initial thoughts on wild magic. In the early days of this... phenomenon, I spoke freely about my belief that the instability of our spells was being caused by something greater than the Immortals. I even went so far as to say that I believed the Immortals have been locked in a battle with... whatever is behind this... for longer than we have even known there was a problem. That the severing of our connection to the mana streams was perhaps caused by some pivotal point in their battle that finally brought the effects of it into our realm of perception."

(Ezerak inhales, clenching his eyes shut as if in pain, before continuing.)

Nawain winces.

Ezerak says, "From there, she went on to describe the imagery and sensations that were experienced the night of one of the earlier vigils that was held. When the sound of a wolf was heard howling in the distance and a golden lightning bolt forked across the darkness to restore the vision of those affected, after which the mana fluctuations felt... a little better."

Imroth clears his throat.

Riverlynn frowns.

Valynn looks at Ezerak and jots down some notes.

Ruea raises an eyebrow.

Ezerak says, "In her words, she said it was like a sign. An indication that the Immortals "truly are locked in some battle against... something. Something powerful enough that the Immortals have not been able to outright stop it - merely interfere."

(Ezerak pauses a moment, taking a piece of parchment from his pocket. He studies it briefly before continuing.)

Ezerak says, "She went on to state: "The Heralds, it is said, are so powerful that even the Immortals bow to them. The Heralds also have a history of making what I refer to as 'snap decisions' about the use of magic, their reasoning never quite clear. In the War of Tears, they felt the spell utilized by the Sraan Mehath was unacceptable, yet those same Heralds did not intercede when Teiro's warriors used the same magic. And the day magic died... yet another 'snap decision' to punish us all with the removal of Meraud's gift for no other reason than their belief that we were abusing it."

Lupdels takes a sip of his sherry.

Allye takes a sip of her tea.

Ezerak says, "Further, she stated: "So... what if the Heralds *did* attempt to remove our magic again? What if *this time* the Immortals decided the Heralds were out of line and chose to intercede *before* the Heralds had a chance to boast to all of us of their power? If the Heralds truly are more powerful than the Immortals, it would explain why the Immortals were not able to halt the effects of wild magic. It explains who the Immortals could be fighting, even as we speak, that would create a battle of such epic proportions that it would affect... everything. The Bulwark. The Font of Creation. Devastation comparable to the destruction of Grazhir."

Zersha takes a tiny bite of a crisp pastry turnover stuffed with sliced pears and smoked cheese and chews daintily on it.

Ezerak says, "I've been giving her words a lot of thought lately. And even more so to the words she spoke the night of the abduction. Words that seemed to indicate that she had given her theory even more thought. That she'd moved even closer to something in her research."

Ezerak says, "When Navesi asked Ayrell about the changes to her theory, Ayrell indicated that she believed it was possible that the cause of wild magic could have some connection to sorcery, but that she also still believed that it had a direct link to the Heralds."

Ezerak says, "Ayrell told Navesi the same as she told the rest of us during her discussion. That a battle between the Heralds and the Immortals could very much affect the mana streams, the Bulwark, causing catastrophic damage like the shattering of Grazhir... and that it would explain the prickling thoughts being felt that brought about a reminder of the Sraan Mehath. She even further stated to Dantia that it could all very much have something to do with sorcery considering that the Heralds have removed magic in the past for what they viewed as abuse."

Ezerak quietly says, "She even stated that she was concerned about the Heralds taking notice of what they were doing that night because the Heralds... are not exactly known to be kind."

Valynn nods to Rileos.

Ezerak frowns.

A pained expression crosses Nawain's face.

Ezerak quietly says, "As evidenced by the encasement of Knife, Tiger, and Wolf Clans."

Ezerak says, "Thinking about the dedication, diligence, and devotion Ayrell showed to her research before she was taken from us, I can't help but think she would have uncovered the answer by now, were she here."

A pained expression crosses Ezerak's face.

Ezerak quietly says, "But she's not, so I've been doing my best to build on her work to see if I can finish what she started in hopes that it might lead to a solution that will not only correct the imbalance... but will bring her back."

Ruea says, "Well she is certainly the smartest of us."

Ruea smiles.

Ezerak nods at Ruea, obviously agreeing with her views.

Nawain gazes at Ezerak.

Ezerak rubs his right eye.

Ezerak says, "For her, I have been taking a closer look at current events and some of the clues... some of the signs... that add weight to Ayrell's theory, while also trying to fill in the gaps she never had a chance to fill. And while it's still a work in progress, I wanted to share some of my notes with you here, now. As I know Ayrell would have done."

Zersha gazes sadly at Ezerak.

Imroth says, "That's really impressive to have such an accurate theory so early."

Ezerak says, "In the book "An Account of the Elven Human War As Recounted by Silvyrlock," the author describes the Heralds', referred to as the Guardians in this particular text, intervention during the War of Tears. Before the destruction of the Sraan Mehath, the Guardians warned them to cease the use of the dangerous magics they had begun to utilize. To quote the author:."

Kethrai gazes thoughtfully at Ezerak.

Ezerak says, "The Guardians then spoke in quiet voices that somehow carried across the fields, informing the warriors that they did not care about the war, but they did care about the magic being used and warned them to cease, discouraging any further abuse of the magic."

Crobin ponders.

Risaro just arrived.

Valynn looks at Ezerak and jots down some notes.

Ezerak says, "Quiet, yet powerful voices. Those present at the abduction may find this familiar. We all heard a quiet voice say "unacceptable," but with such power behind the word that it nearly broke our minds, driving us to the ground."

Allye takes a sip of her tea.

Ezerak quietly says, "Rather fitting that she used that same word in her lecture on her theory, to describe how the Heralds felt about the magic used by the Sraan Mehath. Unacceptable."

Anuril rubs his head.

Ezerak says, "That all being said, if the Immortals are locked in a battle with the Heralds, as Ayrell has theorized, the Immortals would need every advantage possible. The histories claim that the Heralds are to the Immortals what the Immortals are to us. Which brings me to my next point."

Ezerak says, "There is, regrettably, mounting evidence that sorcery may be helping to restore the balance. Ayrell and I have long been staunch detractors of sorcery, given the inherent instability and danger of even minor uses, and the long-held teachings that even minor sorcery is disruptive to the Plane of Abiding."

Parkons takes a sip of his stout.

Ezerak says, "As much as it pains me, I cannot ignore this evidence. After Imroth's...party, so to speak, there was a pervasive feeling of balance. Of everything feeling more stable. A similar feeling was felt after the rescue attempt conducted by Saragos and Nawain."

Aerilia nods.

Imroth strikes a heroic pose.

Ezerak says, "Additionally, I had a vision of Meraud just before Imroth's gathering. I will repeat it here. It began with the sensation of time slowing and the golden light that I have come to associate with messages from the Immortals."

Nawain ducks her head.

Anuril says, "Conflation."

Nawain turns the page of her spiritwood journal.

Lupdels nods to Anuril.

Saragos nods to Ezerak.

Kethrai touches Anuril with a confident grace and heartfelt smile.

Crobin flicks one ear back as though listening for something.

Ezerak says, "A hooded figure in darkest midnight black stood before me holding a tall staff that crackled with energies. I could not see his face, though I heard a growl as a huge black wolf stepped forward and cocked its head at me. The dog panted excitedly a moment, and vanished. The figure nodded, and vanished."

Ezerak says, "I heard Him, encouraging me to listen. To observe. "There is chaos coming, and it is necessary, and will break those that would do us harm. You only have to listen."

Ezerak says, "A similar vision was seen during the rescue attempt. The same figure appeared and said "This was not the answer you sought, but it was the action needed to begin bringing them home."

Ezerak says, "These visions appear to be tacit approval of sorcery by Meraud. That sorcery is necessary to restore the balance."

Aerilia nods.

Imroth nods in agreement.

Anuril shakes his head.

Ezerak says, "I believe that this approval, that the necessity of sorcery, is because that sorcery somehow makes the Immortals stronger. Able to better oppose the Heralds. And a recent vision at Aaiyaah's Meraud Vigil seemed to confirm this."

Saragos takes a sip of his brandy.

Kethrai touches Crobin with a confident grace and heartfelt smile.

Ezerak says, "A hooded figure swathed in black robes appeared before me, holding his arms wide in front of him, fingers bent in a gesture often used by mages preparing spells. "Watch carefully," he said. Four shimmering streams appeared before him, separate strands standing apart. Slowly, he brought his hands together, and the streams closed in on one another, twining together in an intricate weave. The man drew something that looked like liquid light away, pooling it in his hands, then took a drink. "There. You see?" He turned and suddenly vanished."

Xionara takes a sip of her Venom.

Hebion ponders.

Ezerak says, "It appears to me that Meraud was taking nourishment of some sort from streams of mana woven together, and was showing us how. That lesser sorcery is necessary."

Ezerak says, "It is important to distinguish, however, that certain forms of Sorcery are likely still unacceptable. Antinomic, Teleologic, Hylomorphic, and Necromancy, while they may still do what the Immortals need, come with an unacceptable level of risk, as they break various Planar laws in their function. In fact, during the rescue attempt, Clerics heard the Immortals grumbling at their hubris, begrudgingly encouraging them to continue, as if they were indicating displeasure at the Antinomic Sorcery, but admitting the need for it to happen."

Valynn jots down some notes.

Crobin leans against a bar.

Nawain flinches.

Allye gazes down at her hands.

Ezerak says, "Some have argued that the sense of balance that was felt after the mass casting of sorcery ending was because the casting stopped, or because the Heralds intervened. But I don't know that I agree. If that was the case, I would think that we would have sensed the imbalance worsening first when the casting started, followed by an improvement after it ended. Instead, all we felt was the improvement afterwards. As if the casting helped stabilize magic."

Nawain gets an iridescent crow feather quill with asini accents from inside her book bag.

Nawain turns the page of her spiritwood journal.

Parkons takes a sip of his stout.

Lupdels takes a sip of his sherry.

Valynn ponders.

Ezerak says, "That is all that I have prepared for tonight. I will open the floor for discussion and questions. I am still pondering a lot of the details, however."

Open Floor Theory Discussion

Kethrai praises Ezerak.

Sarugar gives Ezerak a slight nod.

Rileos raises his hand.

Lupdels chuckles.

Allye nods to Ezerak.

Lupdels applauds.

Allye smiles.

Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.

Ezerak nods to Rileos.

Kethrai raises his hand.

Sarugar goes east.

Crobin brushes one ear with his hand, grooming it absentmindedly.

Aerilia says to Ezerak, "Well said."

Rileos asks Ezerak, "So did you already own a library card or is it new?"

Raising her silver wine to Rileos, Ruea gives him a toast.

Zersha glances at Sofina.

Zersha appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Rileos looks at Ezerak, obviously trying not to grin.

Raising her silver wine to Ezerak, Ruea gives him a toast.

Xionara chortles softly at some secret joke.

Ezerak chuckles at Rileos.

Sofina grins at Zersha.

Anuril says, "The use of the term 'heralds' should be retired, as it is being used in reference to too many entities."

Crobin chuckles.

Lupdels nods to Anuril.

Valynn grins at Rileos.

Valynn offers Rileos a generous dram of Chelsea Estate's Special Reserve scotch.

Nawain turns the page of her spiritwood journal.

Rileos accepts Valynn's scotch.

Raising his scotch to Valynn, Rileos gives her a toast.

Rileos takes a sip of his scotch.

Aerilia inhales deeply of the drink.

Rileos takes a sip of his scotch.

Maraisel chortles softly at some secret joke.

Ears tilted forward, Zynell curls her tail around Sothios's ankles loosely.

Ezerak says to Rileos, "Believe it or not, I only had to verify a few things from the libraries. Her notes are...very detailed."

Lupdels says to Anuril, "Tell young children there are Heralds under their bed that will eat them if they don't eat their veggies and go to sleep."

Rileos asks Ezerak, "But you did? Personally? In a book?"

Anuril smiles at Lupdels.

Ezerak nods to Kethrai.

Ezerak nods to Rileos.

Sothios smiles at Zynell.

Rileos stretches out a hand imploringly to Ruea.

Imroth asks, "To argue that the sense of balance comes from the eventual ceasing of sorcery is silly. Why would there be any difference between before and after the events if the healing was because of the stopping?"

Rileos says to Ezerak, "Sorry, I had a bet goin. Thanks for the help."

Ruea asks Ezerak, "But you didn't pull the quotes yourself did you? You just verified them?"

Parkons says, "I believe the other recent vision starting with saplings growing into behemoths despite the gust of wind also further supports this theory. Heralds or otherwise, I'm convinced the Immortals are at odds with some entity or entities."

Rileos looks at Ezerak, obviously trying not to grin.

Ezerak nods to Ruea.

Ruea gives Rileos a good pinch!

Urbaj nods at Imroth, obviously agreeing with his views.

Rileos grumbles.

Rileos takes a sip of his scotch.

Kethrai says, "I do have some alternate thoughts to talk about, in reference to the vision that the Life mana users most recently were shown from Elanthia..."

Parkons takes a sip of his stout.

Gwenddolyn nods at Parkons, obviously agreeing with his views.

Riverlynn glances at Kethrai.

Allye angles her ears forward, gazing curiously at Kethrai.

Kethrai says, "To Anuril's point, I'll avoid calling any of the involved entities 'Heralds' because I have no way to know which is what."

Ezerak says to Ruea, "She had the quotes in her notes, I but verified the source, for referencing here."

Lileath asks, "I have a question for those more theologically inclined - My understanding is that some believe Meraud will pursue knowledge, which may include power, at any cost. What may an immortal be willing to sacrifice for power?"

Valynn asks, "Ezerak, were there any references to a possible third entity? Possibly in opposition to both Immortal and Herald?"

Kethrai says, "But we saw a vision of a Dragon, giving power to someone who she said would be one of her Gardeners. That Gardener seemed to initially do its task as ordered, but..."

Anuril nods to Kethrai.

Kethrai says, "It grew hungry for mana, for raw magical energy."

Aerilia inhales deeply of the drink.

Malorna takes a bite of an apple.

Ruea winks at Rileos.

Malorna takes a bite of an apple.

Malorna chews pensively on an apple.

Lupdels says to Lileath, "Reminds me of the stories of Firulf's Staff and the Suur Pillar. Was Firulf really tricked or does that make a better story to protect the innocence of the Immortals."

Ezerak says to Kethrai, "I have some thoughts on that, but I am still organizing them."

Zynell clasps Crobin's hand tenderly.

Kethrai says, "Eventually it wasn't able to sate its hunger with the mana it could call to bear in our plane. But it was able to access other streams of mana once it sliced through the planar boundary to outside."

Crobin quirks one ear sideways, glancing at Kethrai in confusion.

Lupdels raises his hand.

Valynn grins at Rileos.

Nawain turns the page of her spiritwood journal.

Kethrai says, "And later, it was unmade and sealed away by the Dragon."

Trajan says, "There are enough beings that we refer to as Heralds that the possibility of a consensus among them seems unlikely."

Anuril says, "Sealed away in a null prison."

Anuril nods to Kethrai.

Kethrai asks, "That said -- what if the Gardener in this vision is, in fact, behind the wild magic?"

Nawain gives a slight nod.

Imroth nods to Kethrai.

Ruea says to Kethrai, "Oh I like that."

Kethrai says, "A symptom of it continuing to feed on raw magical energy."

Crobin asks, "Just hungry for mana?"

Lupdels nods.

Karthor nods to Kethrai.

Aerilia nods to Kethrai.

Kethrai says, "That would actually go along with the ideas that Valenal and Liraxes have put forth."

Karthor says to Kethrai, "I was wonderin' the same thing."

Gwenddolyn asks, "Eating the mana is throwing it out of balance?"

Valynn nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Allye nods to Kethrai.

Lupdels says, "And we may have accidently helped him break out of jail ..."

Ezerak says to Imroth, "I agree, I would think there would be some sort of other visible sign. And it is difficult to prove that stopping something is having an effect. It is much like proving a negative."

Ezerak says, "Sorry, a moment while I catch up."

Ezerak chuckles.

Xionara sighs.

Allye says to Gwenddolyn, "Using up vast quantities might."

Rileos pats Ezerak on the back.

Imroth says, "I also think that. My theory is it found a way to slowly leak mana to itself in the null prison."

Kethrai says, "It could also explain why, when new energy is introduced to our plane, it makes the wild magic lessen -- the being is momentarily sated."

Gwenddolyn nods to Allye.

Ezerak says to Valynn, "She did not mention any third parties in her notes, no."

Gwenddolyn says, "The entity stealing mana, it stole it from me."

Valynn nods to Ezerak.

Gwenddolyn says, "It could be a third entity as valynn suggested."

Lupdels says, "I am worried that we attribute too much to the ease of wild magic from sorcery. Many a Bard has hailed a stiff ale to lessen the pains of a hangover, but that does not mean that the alcohol the night before was innocent."

Valynn says to Ezerak, "Perhaps it was early enough that we didn't realize there was something else in the shadows."

Xionara softly says, "Liraxes stated that thing feeding on mana cannot feed on sorcerous energy."

Kethrai nods at Lupdels, obviously agreeing with his views.

Imroth says, "Interestingly, Liraxes' machine also steals your mana when you cast a vote."

Aerilia nods to Xionara.

Gwenddolyn says, "Yes it prefers holy mana from pristine paladins."

Crobin looks at Imroth and shrugs.

Gwenddolyn mutters to herself.

Trajan frowns.

Ruea chuckles.

Lupdels raises an eyebrow.

Xionara chuckles at Gwenddolyn.

Ruea shows Rileos her madun gown.

Valynn raises an eyebrow.

Aerilia says to Xionara, "Cannot or will it, it said."

Allye nods to Imroth.

Kethrai says to Xionara, "Yeah, and he's wrong. Valenal has said the same thing. But wild magic occurs with sorcerous casting as well as with normal casting."

Trajan says, "That's not suspicious."

Lupdels asks, "It prefers holy mana?"

Allye grins at Gwenddolyn.

Anuril nods to Kethrai.

Xionara frowns at Kethrai.

Gwenddolyn says, "Yes of they only have access to the other manas and not holy there."

Zersha nibbles her lip thoughtfully.

Lupdels nods to Gwenddolyn.

Xionara softly says to Kethrai, "That doesn't mean it is feeding on it."

Gwenddolyn says, "Then they would crave holy."

Imroth nods.

Valynn quietly says to herself, "Well, isn't that interesting."

Lupdels says, "So holy is a delicacy ..."

Allye gazes at a cup of ruby-red hibiscus tea garnished with a curl of lemon.

Casari rubs Malorna gently.

Crobin says, "Holy isn't as spicy."

Malorna takes a sip of her honeywine.

Casari says to Malorna, "Oh, I didn't see you standing next to me."

Imroth says, "I would imagine that just means it is Immortal-proof."

Crobin says, "Easier ono the tum tum."

Kethrai says to Xionara, "Valenal said plainly that the wild magic effects are the symptom we can see of magic being eaten."

Kethrai says, "So he's wrong about either one thing or the other."

Riverlynn smirks at Crobin.

Kethrai shrugs.

Casari rubs her head.

Zynell squints at Crobin.

Gwenddolyn says, "Or making it all up."

Gwenddolyn grins at Allye, her dimples flashing into view.

Xionara softly says to Kethrai, "Doesn't mean it's eating sorcerous magic. Just that things developed badly enough for wild magic conditions to occur."

Gwenddolyn grins at Kethrai, her dimples flashing into view.

Rileos runs his fingers through his hair.

Ezerak says to Kethrai, "While I am still thinking on those vision, and that certainly seems possible, it still could be that the being in question is still related to the Heralds. It seemed to be creating other entities."

Lupdels asks Ezerak, "Do you believe Ayrell to still be alive?"

Crobin smiles at Zynell.

Allye gives Gwenddolyn a wry grin.

Aerilia says, "Or there's been a misunderstanding of his words. There's been plenty of that going on."

Ezerak says to Lupdels, "Without question."

Allye says to Aerilia, "True."

Lupdels nods to Ezerak.

Lupdels asks Saragos, "And you believe Navesi to still be alive?"

Zersha takes a sip of her tea.

Gwenddolyn says, "He seems confused daily."

Zynell playfully tilts her ears toward Crobin.

Ezerak says to Lupdels, "I feel like I would know, if she were not."

Gwenddolyn chuckles.

Kethrai says, "Anyway, I don't want to derail the whole conversation. The point is just that there may be other explanations for why sorcerous casting makes the problem temporarily better, that don't mean sorcerous casting is a stabilizing force itself."

Saragos says to Lupdels, "I do."

Riverlynn says to Crobin, "You must have never met my husband. His magic was anything but bland."

Lupdels nods to Saragos.

Zersha nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Hebion nods to Kethrai.

Allye looks thoughtfully at Kethrai.

Hebion says, "I have a potential theory."

Crobin asks, "Bland sure...but is it spicy?"

Anuril nods to Kethrai.

Zersha takes a tiny bite of a crisp pastry turnover stuffed with sliced pears and smoked cheese and chews daintily on it.

Zersha cocks her head at Hebion.

Parkons takes a sip of his stout.

Crobin says, "I couldn't even lick the mana surges."

Crobin sighs.

Zersha giggles at Crobin.

Ezerak asks, "Did I get to the questions so far?"

Valynn jots down some notes.

Malorna grins at Crobin.

Nawain puts her quill in her book bag.

Ezerak asks, "Have I missed anyone yet?"

Nawain moves a spiritwood-bound journal of pure white to her left hand.

Lupdels says, "I may be in the minority with my unpopular opinion, but bringing up the Heralds and Sraan Mehath is evidence, to me at least, that if Ayrell, Navesi, and the others are still alive, they are not trapped by the Heralds. Instead, they'd be dead."

Valynn jots down some notes.

Kethrai says to Ezerak, "And, I agree that the Gardener entity is related to the Heralds. In fact, I think the Dragon in that vision was a Herald. But I can't prove that, so I avoided undue speculation."

Crobin chuckles.

A pained expression crosses Allye's face.

Ezerak nods to Kethrai.

Hebion says to Lupdels, "No one truly knows what happened to the Sraan."

Riverlynn gets a gilded porcelain cup of fragrant white magnolia tea from atop a luxurious nightsilk cloth embroidered with opulent bands of gold.

Crobin raises his hand.

Ruea raises an eyebrow in Allye's direction.

Nawain gets a sugar stick decorated with colorful stripes from inside a little mossy green lunchbox painted with the portrait of a woman.

Hebion says, "Just that they were gone and a crater existed after."

Nawain offers Crobin a sugar stick decorated with colorful stripes.

Ezerak says to Kethrai, "Speculation is largely all we have at this point."

Saragos says to Kethrai, "I agree on that. If I have a bucket that leaks, the problem is that it's got a hole in the bottom, not that I'm not adding enough water to keep the water level up."

Crobin declines Nawain's offer.

Valynn furrows her brow.

Crobin says, "No thank you Nawain."

Ezerak says to Hebion, "Go ahead with your theory."

Kethrai nods at Saragos, obviously agreeing with his views.

Crobin chuckles.

Xionara blinks at Hebion.

Rileos takes a sip of his scotch.

Zersha looks at Sofina, obviously trying not to grin, but the dimples in her cheeks give her away.

Anuril nods to Saragos.

Gwenddolyn says, "That is interesting Hebion."

Crobin chuckles at Nawain.

Ezerak says, "And then I'll swing back to Crobin."

Nawain puts her stick in her slender rugursora.

Gwenddolyn says, "It could be related."

Crobin says, "No big."

Riverlynn takes a sip of her tea.

Sofina grins at Zersha.

Ezerak says, "Ayrell would be proud of all this lively discussion."

Rileos chuckles.

Zfora just arrived.

Rileos nods at Ezerak, obviously agreeing with his views.

Nawain turns the page of her spiritwood journal.

Xionara takes a sip of her Venom.

Ruea smiles.

Kethrai guzzles down some of his brandy and then smacks his lips and wipes them with his sleeve.

Hebion says, "I'm wondering if the Immortals are fighting something and that the use of sorcery draws the attention of the enemy and may weaken the barrier keeping the missing people from coming back."

Valynn jots down some notes.

Sofina nods to Zersha.

Aerilia says to Saragos, "But it's important not let the bucket deplete all the same while we try to patch the hole."

Sofina chortles softly at some secret joke.

Zersha nods at Sofina, obviously agreeing with her views.

Hebion says, "So sorcery could temporarily expand the magic like the first part of Meraud's vision."

Saragos says to Aerilia, "Fair."

Allye looks thoughtfully at Hebion.

Malorna scratches her head.

Zfora goes east.

A Prydaen villager gazes about the area with an intent look, watching the goings on.

Hebion says, "Then we stop and realign the magic and seal away the enemy once more."

Lupdels ponders.

Lupdels tugs at the tip of his beard distractedly.

The publican places a flute of silver wine on the bar.

Lupdels gets a flute of silver wine from atop a bar.

Lupdels takes a sip of his wine.

A Prydaen villager's position is revealed by the magical light.

Lupdels nods.

Malorna takes a sip of her honeywine.

Sofina curtsies to a Prydaen villager.

The Prydaen villager appears to be trying to avoid being engaged.

Hebion says, "Paladins instinctively impose order, and perhaps this time we need to lessen that desire innate to ourselves for a time, before slapping it back shut with the bulwark."

Sofina assesses her combat situation.

Xionara scratches one ear, looking bemused.

Riverlynn glances at a Prydaen villager.

Kethrai guzzles down some of his brandy and then smacks his lips and wipes them with his sleeve.

Imroth peers quizzically at Hebion.

Xionara glances at a Prydaen villager.

The Prydaen villager appears to be trying to avoid being engaged.

Nawain closes her spiritwood journal, hooking back the latch.

Nawain puts her journal in her book bag.

Xionara softly says, "Not another naked villager."

Xionara lets out an exasperated, "Pbpbpb."

Aerilia inhales deeply of the drink.

Gwenddolyn chuckles at Xionara.

Ezerak says to Hebion, "That is actually quite similar to a thought that I had on the actual mechanics of what is happening. Perhaps, sticking with my assumption that the Heralds are on the other side, the sorcery weakens them somehow, or is somehow distracting enough to catch thier attention and give the Immortals an advantage."

Riverlynn smirks at Xionara.

The Prydaen villager appears to be trying to avoid being engaged.

Sofina shakes her head at Ruea.

Nawain stares blankly at a Prydaen villager.

Ryeka just arrived.

Zersha takes a sip of her tea.

Zynell begins to listen to Crobin teach the Small Edged skill.

Hebion says, "I fear they can't just outright tell us for fear of being overheard and their distraction being rendered useless."

Nawain mutters to herself.

Nawain gets an itsy-bitsy Ilithic applewood keg reinforced with howlite-studded leather straps from inside her slender rugursora.

Grinning, Nawain pulls a swig from an itsy-bitsy Ilithic applewood keg reinforced with howlite-studded leather straps.

Gwenddolyn says, "That is a valid theory, that sorcery weakens the Heralds and strengthens the Immortals."

Hebion says, "Or it just weakens one side more than the other."

Gwenddolyn nods.

Kethrai draws forth an asini duraka skefne adorned with jaguar-pelt.

Ryeka joins Valynn's group.

Ezerak says to Hebion, "I believe there is certainly merit in the idea, my current thought is based on that last Meraud vision."

The publican places a dram of Shorka's Venom on the bar.

Valynn ponders.

Imroth nods.

Xionara gets a dram of Shorka's Venom from atop a bar.

Valynn grins at Ryeka.

Gwenddolyn says, "And the reason they want to ban sorcery."

Xionara takes a sip of her Venom.

Ryeka grins at Valynn, her dimples flashing into view.

Valynn just hugged Ryeka.

Ezerak says, "Definitely worth examining."

Ezerak nods.

Ryeka hugs Valynn, who wraps her arms around Ryeka with a warm smile.

The Prydaen villager begins to advance on Kethrai.

Zersha takes a tiny bite of a crisp pastry turnover stuffed with sliced pears and smoked cheese and chews daintily on it.

Zersha finishes off her pastry turnover.

Crobin squints at a Prydaen villager.

The Prydaen villager closes to pole weapon range on Kethrai.

Zersha glances at Sofina.

Nawain stands up.

Valynn moves a thin diary bound in suede to her right hand.

The Prydaen villager closes to melee range on Kethrai.

Valynn jots down some notes.

Nawain puts her keg in her slender rugursora.

Kethrai's skefne lands a massive strike (11/23) that just barely penetrates the skin to nick the stomach.
The duraka skefne lodges itself shallowly into the Prydaen villager!

Kethrai's claws lands a heavy strike (7/23) that lightly punctures the skin on the villager's chest.

Ruea blinks.

Kethrai's claws lands a strong hit (6/23) that jabs the villager's chest smartly.

Lupdels frowns.

Kethrai's claws lands a heavy strike (7/23) that pierces straight through the villager's chest to lodge the claws in the heart.

Kethrai's claws lands a heavy strike (7/23) that drives the claws under the villager's sternum to explode its heart.

A Prydaen villager crumples to the ground, and desperately tries to stand up again. However, her wounds prove too severe, and she relaxes after a moment, her body going still.

A panicked scream pierces the air. "Murderer!" You notice the nearby citizenry staring at Kethrai briefly, before most quickly run off in fear.

The Prydaen villager falls to the ground and lies still.

Imroth sighs.

Valynn gazes at a Prydaen villager's corpse.

A pained expression crosses Aerilia's face.

Kethrai bends over the villager's corpse briefly.

Ezerak sighs.

Raising her Shorka's Venom to Kethrai, Xionara gives him a toast.

Allye frowns.

Kethrai picks up an asini duraka skefne adorned with jaguar-pelt.

Kethrai sheathes his duraka skefne.

Xionara takes a sip of her Venom.

Anuril moves over to guard Kethrai.

Ruea says, "Oh goodness."

Trajan says, "I think socery has a more direct effect to the enemy than that. Otherwise, they wouldn't be so desperate to stop it."

Crobin makes a grunting noise.

Allye nods to Kethrai.

Nawain nods to Kethrai.

Sofina gazes at Zersha.

Kethrai kicks some rubble on a Prydaen villager in disgust.

Zersha rests her hand on Sofina's arm with a soft smile.

Lupdels asks, "Is this normal for this tavern?"

Zersha shakes her head at Sofina.

Lupdels takes a sip of his wine.

Ruea asks Kethrai, "Are you going to need bail, darling?"

A Prydaen villager stares upward, then slowly closes her eyes as she sinks into the earth. Soon her body is gone entirely, leaving only her belongings behind.

Rileos says to Kethrai, "I love watchin you do that."

Riverlynn grins.

Casari says to Lupdels, "Depends on the day."

Nawain takes a seat.

Trajan says, "It seems to anger them, which at least to me implies that it hurts them."

Imroth takes a bite of the sandwich.

Lupdels shudders.

Sofina shakes her head at Zersha.

Xionara takes a sip of her Venom.

Casari takes a bite of the cake.

Malorna gazes at Xionara.

Kethrai says to Ruea, "Probably have enough."

Xionara hiccups.

Zersha grins at Sofina, her dimples flashing into view.

Crobin says, "I will chip in for bail."

Sofina smiles at Zersha.

Zersha chortles softly at some secret joke.

Sofina giggles at Zersha.

Crobin chuckles at Sothios.

Ryeka nods to Valynn.

Ezerak says to Crobin, "I think you were next."

Crobin says, "Mine is just a small question."

Kethrai quietly says to Ezerak, "Apologies."

Crobin says, "You speak of the dragons and such."

Ezerak says to Kethrai, "No worries."

Crobin says, "Is anyone speaking aboout the vision at Unaka's vigil there was."

Lupdels says, "If you recall the visions of Elanthia Prime, and the stories of the Kathers, it would imply one group, let us call them the Heralds, may be more native to Elanthia and less influenced by other planes. Magic that draws on other planes inherently weakens all barriers around Elanthia, making it easier for Immortals, and others, to work their will."

Malorna guzzles down some of her honeywine and then smacks her lips and wipes them with her sleeve.

Malorna takes a bite of an apple.

Crobin asks, "About the ox and the dragon fighting?"

Malorna takes a bite of an apple.

Aerilia nods to Crobin.

Imroth nods to Crobin.

Crobin says, "It is hard for me to keep up I admit."

Crobin chuckles.

Allye nods to Lupdels.

Lupdels takes a sip of his wine.

Ezerak says to Crobin, "That is beyond the scope of my lecture, but we can certainly discuss it now."

Zersha takes a sip of her tea.

Xionara scratches one ear, looking bemused.

Zersha says to Crobin, "I think it's hard for everyone to keep up."

Riverlynn takes a sip of her tea.

Ezerak nods at Zersha, obviously agreeing with her views.

Rileos nods at Zersha, obviously agreeing with her views.

Xionara softly says, "For some."

Crobin says, "I do not have the full vision in my mind."

Lupdels tugs at the tip of his beard distractedly.

Xionara nods to Zersha.

Zersha gazes thoughtfully at Xionara.

Hebion gazes upward.

Gwenddolyn says, "I wanted to bring up the worn stone in the first part of the vision from Meraud's vigil."

Xionara hums to herself.

Ruea says, "I do have notes on the five new visions, if anyone needs to hear them."

Ezerak asks, "Any other questions, comments, theories, before the subject changes?"

Crobin says, "But I know the vision was of the OX and the Dragon having a confrontation with the ox standing proudly at the end, but he looked to be winded maybe injured."

Gwenddolyn asks, "What does anyone know about it?"

Parkons nods to Gwenddolyn.

Nawain glances at Saragos.

Sofina peers quizzically at Zersha.

Gwenddolyn says, "Meraud was clearly showing the significance of the worn stone."

Imroth nods to Crobin.

Xionara nods at Gwenddolyn, obviously agreeing with her views.

Ezerak says to Gwenddolyn, "It is the spot where Navesi stood at the time of the abduction, and there seems to be some sort of link between it and the missing."

Xionara softly says, "Focused on it. Can sense five lives attached."

Sofina ponders.

Xionara softly says, "Feels like anchor of some sort."

Kethrai nods to Xionara.

Malorna nods to Xionara.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Oh indeed?"

Gwenddolyn peers quizzically at Xionara.

Valynn nods to Xionara.

Xionara softly says, "Makes.. star configuration.. very strange."

Xionara softly says, "Also vision about forging star."

Xionara softly says, "Something important about star."

Xionara scratches one ear, looking bemused.

Gwenddolyn exclaims, "Wait!"

Gwenddolyn says, "The imprisoned star visions."

Imroth says, "Just as the Gardener became a speck of dirt, I think they are connected to that stone."

Anuril says, "If they were imprisoned in a similar way as the rogue gardenere, it's possible their bodies were destroyed but their mind and spirit remain."

Zersha quietly says to Saragos, "I was having a talk with a friend and I used the bucket of water thing as well. I suggested that maybe sorcery was like ice cream, it was plugging the holes for a bit because it was thicker, but then it would melt away and we'd still have a bucket with holes."

Bloodwraith Whynd just arrived.

Parkons takes a sip of his brandy.

Ezerak says to Xionara, "I believe the star on the stone has to do with the positions they were standing in at the time of the abduction. But I could be wrong."

Gwenddolyn asks, "There were visions about a star being imprisoned, was that a clue?"

Nawain nods to Ezerak.

Karthor says to Gwenddolyn, "It occurred to me recently that there may be a connection there too, but I don't recall the details of any of 'em."

Lupdels nods to Anuril.

Xionara softly asks Ezerak, "Did stand purposefully in positions like star?"

Kethrai says, "Pardon me a moment, need to go iron this out with the law..."

Xionara scratches one ear, looking bemused.

Ezerak nods to Kethrai.

Heart Tender Kethrai glides east, leading his group.

Heart Tender Kethrai just arrived, leading his group.

Gwenddolyn mutters something into the air about need Miskton to explain it.

Heart Tender Kethrai glides east.

Casari grins at Ruea.

Xionara chuckles at Gwenddolyn.

Malorna chuckles.

Zersha grins at Sofina, her dimples flashing into view.

Xionara softly says, "Can figure it out."

Lupdels ponders.

Anuril stops guarding.

Sofina grins at Zersha.

Allye's ears droop for a moment.

Imroth asks, "What was the imprisoned star vision?"

Imroth says, "I don't think I am familiar."

Xionara softly says, "Was forged star vision."

Gwenddolyn says, "I forgot, but that made me think if it just then\."

Xionara softly says, "Not imprisoned. At least as far as know myself."

Ezerak says to Xionara, "I would need to review my notes on the actual experiment, but I believe they were standing where they were purposefully for the experiment."

Karthor asks, "There was an imprisoned...somethin' else...to I think. A child or somesuch?"

Xionara softly says, "Might just be coincidence."

Nawain nods to Karthor.

Xionara ponders.

Gwenddolyn laughs at Allye.

Whynd nods politely to Zynell.

Sofina says, "There are no coincidences."

Allye grins sheepishly at Gwenddolyn.

Ezerak takes a sip of his tea.

Imroth says, "Oh, there was a child in a prison one."

Zynell nods to Whynd.

Ezerak gets a crisp pastry turnover stuffed with sliced pears and smoked cheese from atop a luxurious nightsilk cloth embroidered with opulent bands of gold.

Karthor says, "Which I s'pose could be that First Failed Gardner. It had "small hands" before it was elevated."

Karthor strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.

Imroth asks, "Dark prison place and they made awkward eye contact while they casted something?"

Parkons takes a sip of his brandy.

Allye angles her ears forward, gazing curiously at Karthor.

Sofina nods to Malorna.

Lupdels ponders.

Imroth says, "I should read the notes again."

Malorna chuckles.

Gwenddolyn says, "Hopefully a learned moon mage is searching the visions and will find it."

Parkons exclaims, "The recent visions are far more compelling and damn near specific. The Immortals are involved and I'll wager they're getting impatient and all but spelling it out for us at this point. They need us and we need them before another village is struck!"

Ezerak says to Imroth, "You know, I may have to revisit some of those older visions. Perhaps some have since become clear."

Whynd nods at Zynell, obviously agreeing with her views.

Imroth nods to Parkons.

Parkons seriously says, "I was highly skeptical of Asildu and Miraena since they appeared touting the word of the Heralds. However, I'm buying into the story now. I'm not saying they're correct, but I am saying I am beginning to believe they are authentic representatives of the Heralds. Ayrell's theory has added the additional factors to convince me."

Anuril raises an eyebrow in Parkons's direction.

Zersha takes a sip of her tea.

Allye gazes at Parkons.

Gwenddolyn says, "I am still unconvinced."

Rileos takes a sip of his scotch.

(Parkons guzzles his stout)

Parkons asks, "I know something is out of balance for sure, but is it an issue of the bucket being depleted or is it a problem that the bucket is getting too full?"

(Parkons sloshes his stout around spilling a bit on the floor before taking a quick sip)

Gwenddolyn nods to Parkons.

Ezerak takes a bite of the turnover.

Lupdels nods to Parkons.

Xionara softly says, "Depleted."

Zersha looks at Hebion, obviously trying not to grin, but the dimples in her cheeks give her away.

Hebion chuckles at Zersha.

Valynn gazes thoughtfully at Parkons.

Xionara softly says, "Can sense from own research myself. Problem with replenishment cycle."

Parkons takes a sip of his stout.

Casari says, "They are... very... clearly connected to those who decided to start chucking spires at us."

Nawain shakes her head as if clearing it.

Parkons nods to Casari.

Aerilia nods to Casari.

Ruea says, "We had a dozen Moon Mages working on the visions last night, it was actually very enlightening."

Ruea takes a sip of her wine.

Gwenddolyn says, "Sorry I had to miss that."

Imroth nods to Ruea.

Zersha nods at Hebion, obviously agreeing with his views.

Allye nods at Casari, obviously agreeing with her views.

Trajan asks, "Are we at least in consensus thar Asildu and Miraena are not to be trusted at this point?"

Zersha says, "I'm not."

Ezerak says, "I think, the most important lesson I have learned so far, is that it is okay to be wrong about things. It is okay to change your mind based on new evidence. And it is important to remain open to said evidence."

Zersha flashes a quick grin at Trajan.

Gwenddolyn says, "But xionara may have figured out part of the connection with the worn stone."

Lupdels frowns at Trajan.

Anuril says to Trajan, "Nope."

Parkons exclaims to Trajan, "I never did and I never will!"

Phoenix Elsiane just arrived.

Imroth nods to Trajan.

Whynd nods emphatically at Zynell.

Ruea says, "Oh I thought Miraena was adorable with her pretty flowers."

Trajan says, "At the very least, they provide eyes and ears for the enemy."

Ruea takes a sip of her wine.

Karthor shakes his head at Trajan.

Nawain nods to Trajan.

Xionara softly says, "Not sure. Just thoughts to ponder."

Xionara softly says, "Avenues to pursue."

Lupdels asks Trajan, "What enemy?"

Aerilia says, "They're getting together shortly to try to convince us to believe them. Asildu and Miraena."

Parkons says to Trajan, "That part I'm on board with. They clearly represent the threat."

Zersha nods to Aerilia.

Gwenddolyn says, "The five lines is a huge clue."

Allye nods to Aerilia.

Gwenddolyn nods to Xionara.

Anuril clears his throat.

Trajan peers quizzically at Lupdels.

Xionara softly says, "More conerned about why not know of any orange dragon and where this spire of imprisonment for mana hunger entity was."

Gwenddolyn says, "They are tethered to it."

Ruea asks, "Remind me why we're so sure they're in league with the enemy?"

Ryeka nods.

Imroth says, "Destruction of villages because of a tantrum is not the way to gain my respect."

Ruea gets a flute of silver wine from atop a bar.

Ruea takes a sip of her wine.

Gwenddolyn nods at Imroth, obviously agreeing with his views.

Ezerak says to Trajan, "I am not so sure that they are being intentionally deceitful. I think they've simply told us what they know, and that a large amount of what we have demanded from them is unknowable."

Anuril loudly says, "Unaka clearly stated that Asildu was not responsible for what happened to the clans."

Saragos says, "I'd like to add that very soon I'll be repeating the experiment that got Ayrell and the others kidnapped. My hope is that it will unlock some more clues about the nature of their kidnapping, the perpetrator, and possibly reveal what they were kidnapped to stop them from finding out."

Zersha nods at Ezerak, obviously agreeing with his views.

Ruea says, "Did one of the messengers pull down three Clans and I missed it? I thought that was a higher power."

Ruea takes a sip of her wine.

Aerilia scoffs at Anuril.

Casari says, "I don't think it was a tantrum. I think he was feeling the Heralds, or something, and was unable to cope with the overwhelming emotions of those entities."

Nawain snorts at Anuril.

Nawain asks Anuril, "When was this?"

Imroth asks, "He called for it to happen, didn't he?"

Lupdels says to Imroth, "It's good to hear you distrust Firulf and the other Immortals as well."

Aerilia says to Anuril, "His hand didn't destoy the Clans, but he called for them to do it all the same."

Anuril says to Nawain, "Last andu."

Valynn nods emphatically at Crobin.

Ruea says to Casari, "Darling if you keep making sense like that someone is going to fall in love with you."

Zersha says to Imroth, "He called for a sign to make us believe him."

Ruea takes a sip of her wine.

Gwenddolyn nods to Imroth.

Casari winks at Ruea.

Gwenddolyn says, "He did."

Parkons says to Anuril, "Sure, Asildu didn't DO it. But something did in reaction to what was done to Asildu."

Trajan says to Ezerak, "'Whether they're being intentionally deceitful is not for me to judge. But that doesn't have any affect on whether I trust them, or not."

Ruea chuckles.

Imroth says, "If you hire an assassin you can't claim "Oh I'm not responsible for the death they caused"."

Anuril sighs.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Perhaps he is the spoiled child of a herald?"

Anuril says, "Good evening to you all."

Gwenddolyn chortles softly at some secret joke.

Anuril raises two fingers to his brow in a quick hand salute.

Zersha asks Imroth, "If I asked Sir Hebion to prove he was real and he hit someone on the head, would that be my fault?"

Veteran Apprentice Anuril goes east.

Xionara chuckles.

Aerilia shakes her head.

Zersha grins at Imroth, her dimples flashing into view.

Zersha says to Imroth, "Keeping in mind that I didn't ask him to do it that way."

Ruea asks Imroth, "But if you have a child and it gets bitten by a snake, is your child responsible for you killing the snake?"

Allye edges away from Hebion.

Zersha giggles at Allye.

Allye ducks her head.

Parkons points at Ruea.

Parkons says, "Indeed."

Ruea asks, "Wasn't Asildu attacked by several people before this happened?"

Gwenddolyn nods.

Zersha says, "After the second spire, before the third."

Sofina says, "False."

Malorna just left.

Nawain says to Ruea, "After."

Imroth ponders.

Casari says, "Well... he was attacked in between."

Saragos says, "Anuril left, but that's completely untrue what he said about Unaka confirming that Asildu wasn't responsible. What Unaka said was that Truffenyi wants her to figure out who the true enemy is. The implication was that Truffenyi wants to stop the true enemy, not just a messenger. That Asildu is not the one behind this."

Sofina says, "After the second, then the third happened."

Zersha grins at Sofina, her dimples flashing into view.

Ruea nods to Sofina.

Parkons takes a sip of his brandy.

Nawain nods at Saragos, obviously agreeing with his views.

Aerilia says, "No. Asildu was driven to frustration that people weren't believing him, so he called on the Heralds to give us another sign."

Lupdels says, "With all due respect to those with loved ones missing, I find it absurd motivated reasoning that the Heralds are all powerful when the conspiracies require them to be, like destroying Clans, but weak when the conspiracies require them to be, like the idea that the Immortals are able to push back against them and ease wild magic with sorcery, and also that the Heralds are gracious when the conspiracies require them to be, claiming they have merely kidnapped five annoying adventurers when somehow they are willing to destroy Clans when inconvenience."

Imroth nods to Saragos.

Lupdels coughs.

Lupdels takes a sip of his wine.

Aerilia says, "Wolf Clan's destruction was their sign."

Lupdels says, "Oh drats now I'm out of wine again."

Ruea says, "We can assume that the messengers have some sort of value to whomever they serve, enough to be protected if threatened."

Lupdels gets a flute of silver wine from atop a bar.

Ruea asks, "Is that the fault of the messenger?"

Aerilia says, "Tiger Clan was their retaliation for us killing Asildu."

Saragos takes a sip of his brandy.

The publican places a flute of honeywine on the bar.

Ryeka gets a flute of honeywine from atop a bar.

Allye knits her eyebrows together in a thoughtful frown.

Ryeka takes a sip of her honeywine.

(Zersha edges through the crowd until she's standing next to Allye.)

Imroth says, "Frustration that lead to asking for more destruction. I assume the "Heralds" were also angry, but again, that is not the way to get people on your side."

Casari says, "I was thinking that the Heralds, or whatever, might have been feeling Asildu's emotions the same way he was feeling theirs. Those of you who have died probably didn't like the feeling."

Valynn looks at Lupdels and jots down some notes.

Gwenddolyn says, "So they are sort of protecting their investments in the messengers to finish their missions."

Parkons says, "Asildu and Miraena are obviously puppets to me. Mere pawns."

Hebion ponders.

Zersha whispers something to Allye.

Allye nods to Zersha.

Parkons takes a sip of his brandy.

Aerilia says to Ruea, "He called on them to do it again while gazing at the ruins of Knife Clan. His hands are bloody even if he didn't deliver the strike himself."

Ruea says, "So to be clear on the timeline, Knife Clan when down the night of Saragos's experiment. Asildu was killed the next day and then Wolf and Tiger clan were taken down."

Ruea asks, "Is that correct?"

Zersha whispers something to Allye.

Ryeka takes a sip of her honeywine.

Hebion asks, "Or are we playing a high stakes game of hangman?"

Nawain says to Ruea, "No."

Crobin says, "Tiger clan."

Allye whispers something to Zersha.

Crobin says, "Asildu called out and Horse clan went."

Valynn taps her nose.

Allye nods at Zersha, obviously agreeing with her views.

Imroth says, "Wolf was taken down, then Asildu was killed, then Tiger."

Gwenddolyn says, "Asildu was killed in between 2 and 3."

Valynn points at Hebion.

Crobin says, "Then Asildu died, Tiger clan went."

Nawain nods at Imroth, obviously agreeing with his views.

Ruea nods.

Ruea says, "Alright, thank you."

Sofina says, "Not Horse Clan."

Sofina groans.

Zersha whispers something to Allye.

Crobin says, "Oh sorry."

Casari rubs her head.

Ryeka ponders.

Imroth chuckles.

Allye nods at Zersha, obviously agreeing with her views.

Zersha nods at Allye, obviously agreeing with her views.

Zersha grins at Allye, her dimples flashing into view.

Ryeka takes a sip of her honeywine.

Saragos says to Ruea, "Asildu took down Tiger Clan, then was killed for it, and then took down Wolf Clan. I believe that was the order. But he definitely got one of the clans before he was attacked."

Sofina nods to Saragos.

Casari says to Saragos, "Other way around."

Nawain nods in agreement.

Zersha nods to Casari.

Lupdels says to Saragos, "It's amazing how you use your language to imply cause and effect when you have no evidence of such."

Imroth nods to Casari.

Rileos scratches distractedly at his beard.

Lupdels snorts, loudly.

Sofina says, "I thought Wolf was first. Doesnt matter, but thats the order of events."

Lupdels takes a sip of his wine.

Nawain frowns at Lupdels.

Saragos rolls his eyes.

Ruea asks Saragos, "And how did Asildu take them down?"

Lupdels asks Nawain, "You want to say something heretic?"

Holy Being Tenuk just arrived.

Nawain asks Lupdels, "I thought you wiser than this. Since when did you suckle at the teat of interplanar bullies?"

Ruea says, "Did he specifically request that the Clans be demolished or something? I wasn't there."

Ruea smiles.

Lupdels glares at Nawain.

Nawain gazes at Lupdels.

Sofina smiles at Lupdels.

Zersha shakes her head at Ruea.

Parkons says, "I'll say this, continuing the puppet analogy, the puppet masters clearly don't know how to be convincing. "Entities" that don't really understand us or how to persuade us."

Zersha says to Ruea, "He just asked for a sign."

Lupdels says, "Interplanar? I don't suppose you actually know what that word means, worshipper of false idols that you invent yourself."

Riverlynn takes a sip of her tea.

Allye winces.

Aerilia says to Ruea, "He called Knife Clan a sign of our arrogance, then asked the heralds to deliver another sign. He knew what he was asking for."

Nawain gazes at Lupdels.

Lupdels says, "You are a disgrace to the Pack."

Ezerak says to Lupdels, "Come now, there is no need to be unkind."

Zersha blinks at Lupdels.

Allye frowns.

Rileos flatly says to Lupdels, "Enough."

Ruea takes a sip of her wine.

Saragos says, "Ok, to be absolutely precise, he begged the Heralds to punish us. Then a meteor fell on a clan. He was killed. He begged the Heralds to punish us again, and another clan was hit."

Valynn gazes at Lupdels.

Ruea nods.

Aerilia nods to Saragos.

Ruea says, "Interesting."

Imroth nods to Saragos.

Xionara stares blankly into the distance.

Trajan peers quizzically at Lupdels.

Whynd removes a prismatic lightning amethyst flask engraved with the words "Liquid Courage" from his upper arm.

Nawain says to Lupdels, "The pack stands with me. You are not pack to me, stranger."

Sofina says, "He was warned prior that if something bad to were happen he'd have to pay for it too."

Saragos asks, "I mean, come on. What's the other option, that Primal Encasement meteors just happened to be falling, and he somehow knew exactly when they'd hit, and decided to try to be impressive by claiming responsibility for something that had nothing to do with him?"

Ryeka takes a sip of her honeywine.

Nawain stands up.

Holy Lash Nawain patters east.

Ruea says, "Thank you all for the clarification. I like to know what we're burning someone for before we light the pyre."

Rileos says to Lupdels, "We're all standin about talkin tryin to sort this out, if you keep down this course you and I are going to have a problem."

Saragos says, "Let's not be silly about this."

Lupdels glances at Rileos.

Allye gazes at Lupdels.

Whynd tips up his flask and begins chugging down his Gor'Tog bloodgrog!

Lupdels asks, "Ril Do I know you?"

Xionara folds her arms across her chest.

Rileos says to Lupdels, "You will if you keep at this."

Whynd attaches a prismatic lightning amethyst flask engraved with the words "Liquid Courage" to his upper arm.

Rileos guzzles down some of his scotch and then smacks his lips and wipes them with his sleeve.

Rileos takes a sip of his scotch.

Lupdels asks Rileos, "The world is ending and you want to stir up more trouble? What's the purpose of that?"

Xionara loudly says, "None of this bickering helpful."

Xionara lets out an exasperated, "Pbpbpb."

Casari glances at the publican.

Ezerak says, "Come now, Ayrell would never approve of the bickering and rudeness."

Maraisel nods to Ezerak.

Parkons asks Saragos, "It sounds like you don't think Asildu is a puppet but actually has power himself. Am I interpreting you correctly?"

Rileos says to Lupdels, "I already told you where the line is, I got no problem with you helpin sort it out but I got a problem with you tryin to pick fights with those who are workin."

Crobin nods to Ezerak.

Aerilia inhales deeply of the drink.

Rileos puts his scotch in his hunting pack.

Ruea says, "Oh I disagree, Ayrell loved to watch a good fight."

Ruea says, "Especially if shirts were off and there was mud."

Ezerak chuckles at Ruea.

Casari says, "She probably wouldn't want me to burn down the Rose for it, though."

Zersha blinks at Ruea.

Ruea gets a flute of silver wine from atop a bar.

Ruea takes a sip of her wine.

Valynn loudly exclaims, "This is what is happening between the Immortals and Heralds. We are mirroring their behavior and not coming to a solution!"

Lupdels asks Rileos, "Remind me again what you've done, since you're so proud of your working?"

Zersha casually observes the area.

Crobin says, "We could rebuild."

Crobin nods to Casari.

Allye trills softly at Valynn.

Ruea says to Zersha, "I promise, I'm not wrong."

Xionara softly says, "Have solution. Help Liraxes."

(Parkons raises his stout towards Valynn in agreement.)

Valynn clears her throat.

Parkons takes a sip of his stout.

Xionara raises an eyebrow.

Zersha quietly says to Ruea, "That's how all fights should be solved, a nice topless mud fight."

Imroth says, "He is a representative that they clearly listen to. They did say "We concur" before they blasted another clan on his behalf."

Zersha giggles a little oddly.

Parkons says, "Say your prayers, we're doomed."

Xionara softly says, "Observe, do more research."

Valynn gazes down at her hands.

Aerilia nods to Imroth.

Ruea says to Zersha, "I think we're going to get along well."

Zersha smiles at Ruea, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Rileos says to Lupdels, "I ain't workin, s'why I'm coverin thems who is. Stop pushing this or you're going to regret it. I ain't askin again."

Ryeka hugs Valynn, who wraps her arms around Ryeka with a warm smile.

Saragos says to Parkons, "I'm not making a statement either way on that, but I believe Unaka's vision from Truffenyi implied that Asildu was not the ultimate cause of Wild Magic. That doesn't mean, though, that he's not in league with the thing behind this. Or that he didn't call down the wrath of his Herald buddies and kill people in a fit of pique."

Lupdels glares at Rileos.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Did anyone use that machine to place there sorcery preference yet?"

Valynn gives Ryeka a half-hearted grin.

Lupdels says, "Being lectured about bullies by a bully."

Sofina nods to Gwenddolyn.

Zersha shakes her head at Gwenddolyn.

Sofina says, "You want to tap the machine."

Valynn sighs.

Casari says, "So for the couple that listened... that potentially two-way connection is why I was trying to convince Asildu to get the Heralds to hold on for a moment and try another strategy, like maybe communication. No luck so far."

Zersha says, "I won't be doing it either way."

Zynell stands up.

Ruea says to Lupdels, "I'd listen to him darling, he actually warns you before the fight. Everyone else will just lay you out and lecture you after."

Saragos says, "Asildu doesn't have to be the actual person who's draining the mana to still bear responsibility for what he called down."

Allye nods to Casari.

Ruea takes a sip of her wine.

Zynell carefully gathers up the delicate folds of a night-black starlight velvet prayer tapestry stitched with loimic and fey-bone.

Zynell puts her tapestry in her encompassing shadows.

Imroth nods to Gwenddolyn.

Zersha says, "I think it's suspect that it needs to drain my mana attunement to take a 'vote'."

Valynn clucks her tongue and shakes her head.

Zersha shrugs.

Crobin nods to Ruea.

Aerilia nods to Saragos.

Sir Madigan just arrived.

Gwenddolyn says, "I do not think the Heralds intend to listen."

Crobin waves to Madigan.

Gwenddolyn says, "It is their way or no way."

Rileos nods to Madigan.

Madigan snaps to attention and hails Rileos with a crisp hand salute.

Sothios says, "Yer entitled to yer opinion, this just isnt the place for it is all."

Ezerak says to Zersha, "And that it leaves no room to change your mind."

Sothios nods to Lupdels.

Karthor raises his hand in a quick salute.

Bioexorcist Karthor plods east.

Zersha nods at Ezerak, obviously agreeing with his views.

Parkons exclaims to Gwenddolyn, "Unless something, or 13 somethings can do something about it!"

Zersha giggles at Sofina.

Gwenddolyn nods to Parkons.

Parkons takes a sip of his stout.

Gwenddolyn says, "Indeed."

Aerilia says to Saragos, "Exactly. He knew exactly what he was asking them to do. They've convinced themselves that the sacrifice of lives will convince us to obey them."

Saragos nods to Aerilia.

Lupdels says to Sothios, "So everyone is entitled to speculate and share ideas until someone points out that there's some leaping to conclusions? Good luck figuring this out then."

Zynell says to Sothios, "It does need said though."

Imroth says, "I would encourage everyone to at least have a voice and vote. Liraxes is weird but I think he is just gathering information."

Madigan hugs Valynn, getting a smile in return.

Sofina gives Zersha a gentle poke in the ribs.

Valynn hugs Madigan, who wraps his arms around Valynn with a warm smile.

Allye smiles at Madigan.

Casari says, "Ideally they will realize that their present strategy isn't going to get their desired result. Hopefully sooner rather than later."

Sofina nods to Imroth.

Zersha says, "I'm going to speak against Sir Imroth, respectfully. I think it could be attuning itself to us and that could be dangerous."

Zersha shrugs.

Allye nods to Casari.

Zersha curtsies gracefully to Imroth.

Ezerak says to Lupdels, "You are free to point those things out. But there's no need for name calling and insults while doing it."

Ryeka nods to Valynn.

Hebion nods to Zersha.

Lupdels bows to Ezerak.

Allye says to Casari, "If only. We cannot afford any more spires falling."

Lileath puts her sketchbook in her faesilk satchel.

Rileos says to Ezerak, "That's a better way of sayin what I was sayin, thanks."

Imroth shrugs.

Casari nods at Allye, obviously agreeing with her views.

Madigan nods to Valynn.

Imroth says, "I will not live in inaction caused by fear."

Valynn places a hand on her chest and bows her head.

Trajan nods to Imroth.

Valynn goes east.

Malorna says, "Sorry need to step away."

Madigan gets a mug of roasted coffee from inside his traveler's pack.

Lupdels says to Ezerak, "I apologize for pointing out the heresy of my fellow Rakash who no longer considers me a fellow Rakash. I will return to my wine and listening."

Niliaevat Raesh Isen Malorna goes east.

Hebion says to Allye, "If things are happening with patterns seen before I'm afraid there will be at least one more."

Xionara softly says, "Funny how speaking to help those calling down spires on Clans and against entity trying to help calculate who has not yet done harm."

Lupdels takes a sip of his wine.

Xionara chortles softly at some secret joke.

Zersha gazes sadly at Hebion.

Gwenddolyn says, "If disagreeing with the heralds points of view causes more distruction, perhaps we should let them believe we have taken their side and then let the Immortals intervene with our help."

Casari says to Xionara, "There are a lot of ways to cause harm. Caution is not undue."

Zersha quietly says, "Those poor people."

Zersha sniffles.

Allye frowns at Hebion.

Allye says to Hebion, "I pray that won't be the case."

Madigan takes a sip of his coffee.

Crobin dusts himself off.

Xionara softly says to Casari, "Yes yes, and then there's being so frozen with fear that make no decision at all."

Xionara softly says, "Which can be more harmful."

Maraisel takes a bite of the cake.

Xionara gets a broken piece of lava stone with deep ruts and pits from inside her cotton smock.

Ezerak takes a bite of the turnover.

Gwenddolyn says, "I expect Liraxes poll to be in favor of sorcery."

Xionara softly says, "Low sorcery suffices."

Gwenddolyn nods to Xionara.

Crobin says, "Sorry all."

Ezerak says, "There is so much food and drink left over, please, help yourselves. Take some home with you for a snack later."

Saragos asks Lupdels, "Seriously, you're accusing people of leaping to conclusions, but what's the possible alternate explanation? That Asildu calling down the Heralds' wrath on us had nothing to do with the meteor falling, and then his death and call for them to, "Avenge your messenger," had nothing to do with the second meteor?"

Crobin says, "I need to see my waay towards OA here shortly."

Zersha gazes at a luxurious nightsilk cloth embroidered with opulent bands of gold.

Parkons gets a slice of chocolate fudge cake from atop a luxurious nightsilk cloth embroidered with opulent bands of gold.

Zersha gets a sliced red currant scone stuffed full with clotted cream and cloudberry jam from atop a luxurious nightsilk cloth embroidered with opulent bands of gold.

Parkons takes a bite of the cake.

Zersha hums cheerfully to herself.

Imroth takes a bite of the sandwich.

Zersha smiles at Allye, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Imroth takes a bite of the sandwich.

Zersha moves a sliced red currant scone stuffed full with clotted cream and cloudberry jam to her left hand.

Crobin waves.

Zersha takes a tiny bite of a sliced red currant scone stuffed full with clotted cream and cloudberry jam and chews daintily on it.

Gwenddolyn says, "I also am concerned that they are taking names of who supports sorcery."

Hebion says to Imroth, "There is a difference between caution and inaction the same as there is between action and recklessness."

Ruea smiles at Madigan.

Casari nods at Hebion, obviously agreeing with his views.

Gwenddolyn says, "Kind of like counting the teams sizes."

Allye nods to Hebion.

Allye stands up.

Madigan snaps to attention and hails Crobin with a crisp hand salute.

Crobin shakes Saragos's hand.

Madigan says, "LT.."

Ruea smiles at Crobin.

Crobin shakes Imroth's hand.

Parkons takes a sip of his stout.

Crobin says, "Be good all."

Crobin says, "Or good at it."

Crobin waves.

Parkons nods to Crobin.

Aerilia nods to Crobin.

Zersha giggles at Crobin.

Rileos says to Crobin, "I refuse."

Rileos waves to Crobin.

Lileath waves to Crobin.

Crobin says, "Excellent."

Crobin winks at Rileos.

Crobin waves to Lileath.

Imroth smiles at Crobin.

Fearless Crobin saunters east.

Urbaj waves.

Stellar Statistician Urbaj strolls east.

Saragos raises an eyebrow.

Gwenddolyn says, "Too bad disagreements caused the discussion to end."

Imroth says, "Name calling does not bring us forward."

Zersha nods at Imroth, obviously agreeing with his views.

Trajan nods to Imroth.

Ryeka nods at Imroth, obviously agreeing with his views.

Trajan glances at Lupdels.

Imroth fixes Lupdels with a solid, steady stare.

Lupdels snorts at Imroth.

Hebion says to Ezerak, "I have another question for you."

Madigan nods to Rileos.

Parkons dryly says, "Eventually we'll know who was right and who was wrong."

Parkons exclaims, "To new enemies and new friends and may those new enemies becoming new friends but keep enough enemies to make it entertaining and profitable!"

Ezerak says, "Goodness, I had hoped to give people more time to talk about Ayrell herself, but there was such lively conversation, time went by quickly."

Ezerak nods to Hebion.

Parkons holds a long-necked bottle of bourbon-aged stout high into the air for all to see.

Parkons takes a sip of his stout.

Ezerak says to Hebion, "Go ahead."

Zersha grins at Ezerak, her dimples flashing into view.

Lupdels says, "I have my opinions on the course of action, and am disturbed by the moral failings of the young."

Ezerak smiles, revealing the dimples in his cheeks.

Saragos nods to Ezerak.

Rileos says to Parkons, "I'm hopin it's from a place where we can look back and laugh about it at least."

Ruea laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.

Raising her ruby-red tea to Parkons, Allye gives him a toast.

Imroth laughs at Parkons.

Ruea says, "I'll talk about Ayrell forever."

Ezerak says to Ruea, "Me too."

Zersha says to Ezerak, "I don't know her well but I think she'd be happy this turned out like it did, save for the fighting of course."

Ezerak smiles at Zersha, revealing the dimples in his cheeks.

Maraisel says to Ezerak, "Something tells me Ayrell would have been happy to see so many people sharing their theories."

Ruea says, "She was my first real friend, she made me wear shoes, and she paid for me to take elocution classes because my accent was so bad it made her ears hurt."

Ruea takes a sip of her wine.

Ezerak nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.

Parkons raises his hand in a quick salute.

Bookkeeper Parkons goes east.

Maraisel grins at Ruea.

Casari laughs at Ruea.

Gwenddolyn says, "Well everyone have a great night, all differences aside, there is no I in team."

Light of the World Gwenddolyn goes east.

Imroth exclaims, "Well, on to the next location!"

Trajan gives Lupdels a rather puzzled look.

Imroth raises his hand in a quick salute.

Zersha giggles a little oddly.

Lupdels smiles at Trajan.

Zersha takes a tiny bite of a sliced red currant scone stuffed full with clotted cream and cloudberry jam and chews daintily on it.

Risaro goes east.

Ruea asks, "Oh is it time for something else now?"

Ezerak takes a bite of the turnover.

Hebion asks Ezerak, "Is there any possibility that those taken, given their expertise and skill, are being held off the board to protect them while things get to a pivotal point?"

Rileos looks at Ruea and shrugs.

Saragos says to Ruea, "Overhealers."

Sofina chews on Zersha's shoulder. Weirdo.

Trajan says to Lupdels, "'I was adventuring before you learned to pee outside."

Zersha grins at Sofina, her dimples flashing into view.

Rileos exclaims to Saragos, "Oh!"

Lupdels laughs at Trajan.

Imroth says, "Cheers everyone. Embrace the chaos."

Casari takes a bite of the cake.

Aerilia says, "Asildu and Miraena are speaking in an hour as well, if I'm not mistaken."

Allye grins at Trajan.

Ruea says, "Oh, I had wanted to attend that. I swear I'm just sprinting from event to event these days."

Holy Vengeance Imroth trudges east.

Madigan nods to Aerilia.

Zersha nods at Ruea, obviously agreeing with her views.

Ezerak says to Hebion, "Oh, that is an interesting idea. I had not considered that."

Maraisel nods to Aerilia.

Whynd nods politely to Zynell.

Bloodwraith Whynd goes east.

Zynell grins.

Ezerak ponders.

Lupdels asks Trajan, "Is this some type of pissing contest now?"

Ryeka raises her hand in a quick salute.

Ryeka strides east.

Allye says, "Please don't do that inside Milene's."

Zersha nods at Allye, obviously agreeing with her views.

Allye grins.

Rileos looks at Allye, obviously trying not to grin.

Zersha looks at Allye, obviously trying not to grin, but the dimples in her cheeks give her away.

Lupdels says, "I am but an old man expressing my concerns for the youth."

Hebion peers quizzically at Lupdels.

Ruea says, "Boys, that's enough talk of urine at my best friend's vigil."

Rileos laughs!

Ruea says, "Take it outside if you're going to continue."

Lupdels nods to Ruea.

Lupdels says, "I have no desire to continue."

Sofina snaps her fingers.

Lupdels glares at Trajan.

Zersha just nudged Sofina.

Ezerak says to Hebion, "I cannot think of a way to test that except to wait. But I'd like to think that true of all of them."

Trajan says to Lupdels, "'I can only assume you mean literally, so no, that would be crass."

Ruea gazes upward.

Sofina exclaims, "What!"

Sofina leans on Zersha.

Zersha looks at Trajan, obviously trying not to grin, but the dimples in her cheeks give her away.

Zersha exclaims to Sofina, "You know what!"

Zersha just tickled Sofina, who laughs and returns the favor.

Sofina squirms.

Allye touches Lupdels with a confident grace and familiar smile.

Lupdels smiles at Allye.

Zersha takes a tiny bite of a sliced red currant scone stuffed full with clotted cream and cloudberry jam and chews daintily on it.

Ezerak takes a bite of the turnover.

Ezerak takes a bite of the turnover.

Allye nods to Lupdels.

Zersha says, "These snacks are quite tasty."

Hebion says to Ezerak, "I asked because without the whole story we don't always know which side is which."

Zersha dimples at Allye.

Ruea gets a slice of chocolate fudge cake from atop a luxurious nightsilk cloth embroidered with opulent bands of gold.

Allye grins at Zersha.

Ezerak nods to Hebion.

Ruea takes a bite of the cake.

Ruea sighs.

Riverlynn takes a sip of her tea.

Maraisel says to Ruea, "Good point."

Zersha says, "You're both being rude and it isn't helping anything."
