Notes
- This is a ritual spell that will create a spectral torch. Meant to be a significant part of a Redeemed's damage output, it has a chance to fire TM attacks following any single-target offensive spell you cast. The torch can be worn or held -- the latter will lend added accuracy to its attacks.
- STUDY TORCH (held) - You think you can WEAR the torch, forgoing some of the accuracy of its attacks.
- STUDY TORCH (worn) - You think you can REMOVE or HOLD the torch, lending added accuracy to its attacks.
- WEAR TORCH - Moves the torch from your hand to floating near you.
- REMOVE/HOLD TORCH - Moves the torch from floating near you to your hand. This prioritizes the left hand if available.
- Activation chance is higher against cursed targets. Against cursed/undead creatures, activation is guaranteed. Against cursed players, it depends on their level of Divine Outrage or soul corruption.
- The torch's attack is separate from the cast that triggers it, occurring after a slight delay.
- The torch will pull the caster from hiding when it attacks.
- The torch will occasionally say part of a zealous Redeemed mantra when it attacks.
- Provides lighting to the room.
- You may obtain an Anabasis ritual focus by bringing a Maelshyvean hierophant's tentacle to the Redeemed "guild leader."
- Like all other Anabasis spells, this spell will only function while Redeemed.
- The torch is visible in your LOOK but not in the room description.
Justice
- The spell will trigger justice mechanics on cast.
- Attacks by the torch will also trigger justice mechanics.
- Walking around or interacting with NPCs while the torch is active does not trigger justice mechanics.
