Description

Inky black and nearly invisible in the water, the deeplight fish drifts with minimal movement, ghostly fins gently swaying in unseen still waters. A pair of pale nodules mark a bright purple streak under its large eyes, strange swirls of softly glowing light stirring within. The fish's mouth extends nearly a quarter the length of its body, filled with rows of luminous needle-like teeth.

Recall

The only information about this kind of fish comes from vague rumors from ambitious fishermen who cast their nets deep, the dying specimens brought to the surface gasping their last and snapping angrily at any who got too close. The purpose of the strange glowing nodules beneath the deeplight fish's eyes remains a mystery, though the creature's enormous jaws and teeth leave little to the imagination in regards to their efficiency. The deeplight fish appear to be the undead remnants of those taken from their hunting grounds in the abyssal depths.

Other

The creature leaves a fish eye several seconds after being killed, but you don't have to skin it.
