Once a caravan is starved to this point

''look caravan''
'You tell the driver to give you an inventory report for your locksmith's caravan.
The driver sullenly calls out, "The animals are starving! Any fool could see it!"'
They can no longer move or be fed.

''tell caravan to follow''
'The driver calls to you, "These animals won't move 'til they eat! Give them something to eat and we can be on our way."'

''give grass to caravan''
'The driver of the locksmith's caravan stares at you, "You think that will help now?!"'

Which Leads To This

'The driver of your locksmith's caravan grumbles at you angrily, "Well, looks like the animals have starved to death!"'

''look caravan''
You tell the driver to give you an inventory report for your locksmith's caravan.
The driver sullenly calls out, "Well, I don't imagine they're very hungry at this point, what with the being dead and all."'

And Finally This:

'The caravan driver of a shadowy black locksmith's caravan with golden accents, his face red with anger, watches for a moment as vultures pick clean the bodies of the caravan animals. Looking totally disgusted, he stomps over to you. "Some great trader you turned out to be! Not allowing me to feed these animals 'cause you're in a hurry! See what it got ya? No caravan now! Doncha be thinking you'll get any help from me carrying any of your old cargo!" The driver stomps off dragging the caravan cart behind him.

He calls back over his shoulder, "I should just leave your personal items for the scavengers, but I'll get them to the guild."
The cargo carried on the rotting caravan tumbles to the ground. A couple workers wearing the livery of the Traders Guild happen to walk by and notice some items lying on the ground. With a shrug they heft it to their shoulders and head off towards the nearest guild outpost.

I created the list of destinations within Zoluren, but as a young trader, I haven't had a chance to test out exactly where the caravans may be used to lead, nor their destinations in other provinces. Could someone a little more experienced and traveled follow the pattern of the Zoluren list and fill out the remainder?  :-) Kashna April 19, 2016

Player Owned Caravans - Upkeep, Maintenance, and Logout

I will likely simply test it out and hope all goes well, but this page is missing the following information:

  1. Does it cost more to have your own caravan compared to renting one?
  2. Are there stable fees? Does it cost a lot to stable/retrieve?
  3. What happens if you don't stable your caravan but log out or are disconnected?
  4. Do you stable your caravan before hunting?
  5. Does the caravan require food/grass in the same manner as rented caravans? Can the food be stored/given on the caravan in advance or does it work precisely the same? (I read something about a feedbag?)
  6. What commands are utilized to purchase these things, and from whom? ...though the commerce minister in Crossing will speak to interiors, he won't speak about exteriors or anything else.
