Fresh straw has been laid over the cold stone floors as stable hands perform their daily duties to keep the stable clean and the animals properly rubbed down and fed. Yaks, ponies and mules can be heard over the wooden stall doors, as if they were catching up on all the gossip of life on the trade roads. You also see a marble archway and a polished granite plaque.
