: Yep! The GM's have been doing SO much with the features section this last year, it's worth some time to sort out what can be worn where, and when, and in tandem (or exclusion) with other stuff. Super great problem too have...oh no, we've got too many ways to make our characters unique from everyone else...woe! :) --[[Kythryn]] 23:46, 30 July 2016 (CDT) |

Sorry for so many wrong prices listed. I used a script to generate the wiki markup and obviously didn't spend enough time verifying the prices before posting. I imagine something like this[https://elanthipedia.play.net/index.php?title=Sputkin%27s_Splendors_(4)&curid=132389&diff=541490&oldid=539984] was due to multiple items on a surface that responded to the same `<article> <noun>`. I'll be more careful in the future. [[User:TRAIGA|TRAIGA]] ([[User talk:TRAIGA|talk]]) 19:59, 29 November 2020 (CST) |

<s>As a heads up, I moved the [[Makeup|makeup]] page to a category, so that related pages can be grouped using the wiki style instead of manually by item type. == All caps names == |

It's better to do something like this than to have an all caps name redirect. The first half is what the page is actually called, the second half is what you want it displayed as in that particular situation. --[[User:TEVESHSZAT|TEVESHSZAT]] ([[User talk:TEVESHSZAT|talk]]) 10:18, 5 September 2016 (CDT) |

:You don't even have to use the underscores, too! Either way, I updated the two news pages where you linked the all-caps names, so they point directly to the actual pages (Zoluren vs ZOLUREN), so I deleted all the all-caps versions since they're now not needed. The news updates are going great, and thank you again for making all those entries! --[[User:TEVESHSZAT|TEVESHSZAT]] ([[User talk:TEVESHSZAT|talk]]) 10:24, 5 September 2016 (CDT) |

::"It's better to do something like this than to have an all caps name redirect."<br> |
|||
::The reason I had made the re-directs is that on every NEWS article going forward for the orders and prime events, those same ALL CAPS headers were going to be present. Rather than having to edit each of those sub-section every time those articles are updated, the REDIRECT from the all caps to the standardized version was to streamline a phrase that will be used over and over again. --[[Kythryn]] 10:54, 5 September 2016 (CDT) |
|||
:::How often are the news pages getting updated? Totally understand why there might be a need to streamline some stuff with a redirect, but my understanding is that we try to use redirects more for when people are typing something in shorthand and expect to get a result, vs not wanting to do some manual editing when uploading content. --[[User:TEVESHSZAT|TEVESHSZAT]] ([[User talk:TEVESHSZAT|talk]]) 11:13, 5 September 2016 (CDT) |

::::I believe the articles in the Events category (NEWS 4) get updated at the start of each month. I had kind of "white noised" the news system the last few years, so this project has been refreshing my memory on how it works, so that category could get updated more or less frequently. Some, like the Policies (NEWS 5) have some articles in there from the early 2000's, and editing those for specific links makes sense and that's what we've done for them already. --[[Kythryn]] 11:28, 5 September 2016 (CDT) |
|||
:::::I've restored the redirects for the time being, with the mindset that we'll wait and see how often they have to get used, and if we can streamline things without them and/or doing links as suggested don't become a burden. I'd ''strongly'' prefer that we don't use redirects in this manner on our end, and I don't want someone to get an all-caps redirect when searching for Zoluren on epedia or google, but that could just be me being picky.<br/><br/>Either way, I'm glad to see the news articles getting done, so thank you for tackling that. I'm hoping we'll be able to eventually do more than just a direct text dump, because having it be an explicit in-game reflection kinda bugs me (for reasons like section headers screaming in all caps), but that's more a formatting/design thing than anything else. --[[User:TEVESHSZAT|TEVESHSZAT]] ([[User talk:TEVESHSZAT|talk]]) 11:35, 5 September 2016 (CDT) |

:::::: Sounds good. Either way (redirects or not) will work out fine, and if it is really bugging you, go ahead and change it back (again...heh). I'd just been thinking long-term to make things a little quicker for the future editors on those couple articles. I think letting this project "settle in" for a couple months, so we can see how often things are updated, is a good plan. |
|||
:::::: I did start making redlinks on those NEWS 4 pages as well. I'm hoping we can start populating some of the smaller events with just basic pages that can have the unique gifts, food/drinks, any anything notable for the event such as a game or raffle. I'd done a page like that for a party a few of us got together and did years ago (ok, we wanted the alterations, but why waste the party!), [[Alcohology 101]], and I'd like to see something similar set up for the smaller events going forward. That was my plan with the NEWS 4 stuff anyhow, and hopefully that will make those pages a little more interactive off the wiki-side of things. --[[Kythryn]] 11:56, 5 September 2016 (CDT) |

They initially app'ed as arm worn (hah!), but instead of making the pants leg worm they made the arm worn armor into sleeves. Probably makes more sense in the latter context, anyway, since the T6 robes they go with have legs but no arms. Roundabout way of saying I'm pretty sure they were similarly tweaked in Plat. Thank you for adjusting the loot table accordingly! --[[User:TEVESHSZAT|TEVESHSZAT]] ([[User talk:TEVESHSZAT|talk]]) 12:36, 7 November 2016 (CST) |

: ohhh, that is an '''excellent''' change! Great idea and implementation! Once the fest is over, we should do this for the B&E loot pages too. I'll give some thought on how to consolidate into a single template, maybe scavenge the code from the <nowiki>{{CraftProp}}</nowiki> template somehow as that does have a "type" filter already. ::: Even if we have it called 2 times on a single page, I think it'd still be a great timesaver. Looks like with [[Niniam]] the CraftProp just gets called 2 times, with separate types each call. I'll dive into tinkering if after you've had a go at a universal template it's still not how we want. [[Kythryn]] 18:48, 9 November 2020 (CST) |

Hollow Eve 436 Shops

Merged HE variable tables
Made some templates to help manage updating the variable tables for the HE prizes. If you know of a way to merge them so it's more like "HE2020 color, figures, fabrics" so it's one overall template that can spit out all the data, go ahead, just wasn't sure how to do it myself (at least right now). I figured you'd want to know since you're also making so many updates to the items! Template codes below.
{{HE2020Colors}}, {{HE2020Figures}}, {{HE2020Fabrics}}, {{HE2020Flowers}}, {{HE2020Gemstones}}, {{HE2020Gods}}, {{HE2020Leathers}}, {{HE2020Metaels}}, and {{HE2020Woods}
