[Melodies of the Earth]
Light from the desert sky pierces through an elaborate, imported stained glass window, spraying streams of rainbow luminance upon shelves of instruments. A wide counter spanning the length of the store separates the shopping area from the work and residence portions -- a stairway in the shadowy recesses of the shop stretches up to what presumably is a bedroom. You also see a drab door and a string shelf with some stuff on it.

On a counter

You see a golden stained pi sitar with engraved brass fittings, a polished mahogany mitbiq fitted with polished silver bands, a polished mahogany zurna banded with engraved brass rings, a slender minjayrah stained with gold and brown bands, a bleached bamboo shakuhachi banded with engraved silver rings, and a pale pi sitar stained with a sweep of ebony stars.
