::The correct syntax is {{com|lower}} {{tt|ground [right/left]}}. Aside from a handful of very specific items which have unique mechanics with {{com|lower}}, you will get the above message about an item being non-threatening if you try to use {{com|lower}} {{tt|<item>}} since that syntax is a fluff verb for weapons which ''are'' threatening enough to lower them in a show of backing off. This is all in the in-game help text for the {{com|lower}} command as well as here on the wiki. Generally, if you're having unexpected issues with a verb then those are generally the first places you should look.--[[User:ABSOLON|ABSOLON]] ([[User talk:ABSOLON|talk]]) 23:23, 31 July 2016 (CDT) |

Lowering a pyramid
Does "lowering" still work? When I try it I keep getting an error that my pyramid is not a threat and it won't let me do so. KASHNA (talk) 21:03, 31 July 2016 (CDT)
- I was just able to LOWER GROUND to put mine down, maybe it was the room you're in?
- >lower ground
- You lower the pyramid and place it on the ground at your feet.

- The correct syntax is LOWER GROUND [RIGHT/LEFT]. Aside from a handful of very specific items which have unique mechanics with LOWER, you will get the above message about an item being non-threatening if you try to use LOWER <ITEM> since that syntax is a fluff verb for weapons which are threatening enough to lower them in a show of backing off. This is all in the in-game help text for the LOWER command as well as here on the wiki. Generally, if you're having unexpected issues with a verb then those are generally the first places you should look.--ABSOLON (talk) 23:23, 31 July 2016 (CDT)
