There's some speculation Balam should have been Ra'Balam or at least a member of the Claw of Eu. There's no information on why he was not nor any information about the brand on his forehead. Officially, he is not considered a member of the Claw of Eu, despite his unique memory abilities. He should be considered to have had an eidetic memory. Like the Claw of Eu members, as he neared his death, his memory regressed until he had forgotten his entire life -- this unique case is what leads to the speculation. |

Claw of Eu Notation
