A love of fire and of magic the Warrior Mage Guild was what she felt to be her calling. As a youth she preferred to spend vast amounts of time alone, however, after time had passed and she learned to control her urge to set anything that moved ablaze she felt the need to find people to interact with. Wanting to explore more than just the Crossings area she found herself in Riverhaven. Still not quite as social as most she found an Empath named Kaelie that would often heal her after hunts. The more social and experienced Elf soon became the mother that she had truly never known. It didn't take long for them to bond into those rolls and have ever been extremely close. While stalking and hunting in the area and learning what she could she found solace listening to others form friendships while hers remained few.

It was during one of her visits into the town that she came across an Elothean Moon Mage, Marcul McRee. One that for whatever reason seemed to strike an unlikely friendship with her. Although they did not hunt together they did enjoy lessons and talking. Others seemed equally as perplexed by the two. That friendship opened her up to become more social with others and for him seemed to take some of the dark away. With new perspectives opened for both of them they drifted together. Sometimes separating but always finding that each others company was preferred over others. At one time she had found herself in the company of a Paladin, Evaan, and was engaged to marry him at one time. He was not always kind and often cruel. After ending that relationship she was uncertain again of herself and retreated back to not having people to talk to other than her Mother who was a better judge of character it seemed. She met others but always was drawn to find Marcul. It seemed that their timing was always to be off. Through years they remained in contact and always friends with each other it seemed that anything else was unlikely and she had began to think that life alone was perhaps what was to be. She no longer enjoyed watching others the way she once had and had become resentful. Not even wanting to spend time near her Mother as much because even she seemed to be everything Jiah could not. Not as quick to smile as she once had been and prone to a temper most of her time was spent hunting. And then there was Marcul, again. Much time had passed but it seemed only a moment as the laughter returned. It was the 4th month in the year 364 that her time alone was forever put aside to have Marcul as her husband. Little else in her eyes mattered other than her mother and Marcul.

Events around her never seemed to phase her. When Sicle Grove Village was destroyed by Mibgluc she lent aid where she could, as she did in the Gorbesh War and the war against Sorrow. Her mothers attempts at making her more social included an invitation to the DiSilveron Ball where Prince Belirendrick III was assassinated. She was present for the coronation of Prince Sirolarn of Zoluren during the Ice Festival. Her last memory before she was called away for a time was the Baron Jeladric Theren IV of Therengia had died.

Her mother, Kaelie, was still there. Things had indeed changed but it would be easier to accept with that. Realizing that in her long absence Marcul must have moved forward she removed the band of bonding and accepted change. Falling more easily into things she became a part of the Zoluren militia unit known as The Vela'tohr and began making new friendships and recognizing more people as they passed in the street. Finding her now is as easy as following the footprints in soot.

HISTORY

Jiah was born on the 29th day of the 10th month of Nissa the Maiden in the year of the Golden Panther, 303 years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer.

One that, for whatever reason, seemed to strike an unlikely friendship with her.

Returning to a vastly different and changed place she found herself in Crossing wandering. No faces recognized. The year now 407 she was certain she was again alone. Her mother, Kaelie, was still there. Things had indeed changed but it would be easier to accept with that. Nothing pleased her more than finding that Marcul had waited. Falling more easily into things she became a part of the Zoluren militia unit known as The Vela'tohr and began making new friendships and recognizing more people as they passed in the street. Finding her now is as easy as following the footprints in soot.
