A small tag affixed to the tarantula details the instructions for using it: "Be gentle as you TAP, PUSH, PULL, WAVE, WEAR and REMOVE the tarantula so as not to damage it. Gentle hands are needed for subtle manipulations that result in lifelike responses."

Verbs

WEAR: You set the long-haired tarantula atop your fingers and press dowm firmly, causing the small bead of webbing massed on its belly to fasten it in place.
REMOVE: Giving a quick tug to release the webbing holding it in place, the long-haired tarantula comes loose from its perch.
PULL: You pull one of the long-haired tarantula's legs and a web shoots out of its mouth, evaporating into a puff of smoke as it lands.
PUSH: You push the long-haired tarantula forward and make the legs wiggle around.
TAP: The long-haired tarantula's legs curl up slowly underneath it.
WAVE: The long-haired tarantula leaps off your hand and lowers itself to the ground, then quickly returns to its perch.
