The far wall is hung with a massive poster framed in gold: A female Rakash, her shapely figure clad in a flashy floor-length sequined gown, strikes a sassy pose, one hand raised upwards and caught in the act of throwing a handful of rainbow glitter into the air. Hi hi! So, Leif (my journal) said that I should do the polite thing and talk a little bit about what it means to be me! Of course, you already ''know'' I'm fabulous, since you're here reading this now... but I guess I should do as he says. Ahem.

Many, many, many years ago (sixteen, give or take a year or two) I was born to a lovely Rakash couple in Riverhaven. I can't really tell you more than that because I don't know! Sure, I could ask my sister Istadet, only see we don't talk about our mutual parents much. It's complicated.
⚫ | |||
⚫ | |||
And why don't I know about them? Good question! They died. Now don't start reaching for your handkerchief and if you start patting me on the back going "There There" I can't really be held accountable for what will become of your hand. It was the plague, see. And it killed many, many, lots of people. I was real lucky, though. Not even a week (okay, maybe more then a week, but give or take or whatever. It wasn't really long at all, is what I'm trying to explain!) goes by and I'm adopted by the two nicest people you ever did meet...

What? Oh. Well, no. Istadet wasn't adopted by them. See. It's complicated. Honest! I don't know if the Orphanage was just silly-stupid with their paperwork or if they didn't realize that her and I were a matched set (I could understand why, though. I was tiny and perfect and adorably young. She was older and, let's face it, her road to being too-tall and gangly started early)... where was I?

The Orphanage. Not really much to say about it, because I don't remember I think. I just know that Nathan and Meghan Hart adopted me and called me <s>Abigail</s> Six. And I was a perfect child. Anyone telling you otherwise is fibbing, or being paid to def... defa. Nevermind. They're just being paid to spread rumors that are so not true about me.
(Can I skip ahead a few years, Leif? If I have to keep repeating how perfect my childhood is, my audience is going to dwindle. And what then, I ask you. WHAT THEN?! I won't have anymore autographs to sign and all the winged-heart pins I had made up to be sold for three gold will tarnish... and we'll be destitute, you and me. You'll have to flash your spine and flutter your pages to anyone that walks by just so we have enough to eat-- Oh. You're right. They're still reading this. Sorry!)

The Barbarian Guild and Me go way back. Way, way back. Ages and eons and at least to the time when my Papa's great-grandfather first picked up a sword and decided that it felt right in his hand. And he taught his son what it meant to be a warrior, the pride in defeating a worthy opponent, all of that stuff. Also how to find a good woman and settle down and raise adorable children. And his eldest son grew up to be my Grandpa, and he taught his children the way of the sword so that when his eldest son grew up to be my Papa he would have married a great woman, and built a great home, and adopted the most perfect little girl!
That would be me, by the way. Papa taught me all he knew and when he was done doing that, he sent me to the men and woman who had taught him all they knew and I'm still learning. Still growing. And there really is so very much I'd love to tell you about me, only see. I reached the end of the page! No more space and I'm sort of having to scrunch this all in there because I need to leave room for the hearts I'm going to draw in the margins, and the stars and the cute little butterflies (like the one that Erieck gave me) and all the symbols that do the whole pictures being worth many, many, lots of words and...

Sesi Who?
Stepping through an olivewood door hung with a cupcake-shaped door knocker, you enter a large apartment, its expansive multi-room interior filled with furniture covered by soft white sheets. A thin layer of dust covers everything, and the room feels... abandoned.
A bouquet of dried roses, their once vibrant peach hue faded and darkened with age, rests on a small table situated beside the front door. Sparkling glitter pools on the ground around the table and trails in tiny mousey tracks around the apartment.
The far wall is hung with a massive poster framed in gold: A female Rakash, her shapely figure clad in a flashy floor-length sequined gown, strikes a sassy pose, one hand raised upwards and caught in the act of throwing a handful of rainbow glitter into the air. Her red-gold hair flows down to brush her hips, the wavy curls dappled with small flower-shaped jewels. Dusky black kohl lines and darkens her thick lashes, framing golden eyes that seem to shine with a hint of mischief. The title "SESI HART: GLITTER, MINE" is scrawled diagonally across the poster in bold crimson letters outlined in gold.
A tawny brown mouse scampers in from one of the side rooms, its well-fed body dressed in a pair of snazzy tweed trousers with a teeny felt belt. Seeing you, it pauses and sits back on its haunches. Whiskers twitching it reaches up to yank idly at one rounded ear before seeming to shrug, turning around to quickly dash away with a flick of its long pink tail.
