The only skills getting name changes are:

* HE --> Large Edged
* HB --> Large Blunt
* Stealing --> Thievery

Small blades was changed to be 'Small Edged' as well, because axes are edged but arguably not blades.

I am, but the skills themselves aren't going to change. Just potentially the way they're calculated during the conversion.

That's a good point. Let me get back to you on the name of the forging-related crafting skill.

This was never the plan, unfortunately. The skill combination has to happen at the same time as Magic 3.0 to deal with the new magic skills, and as Combat 3.0 because of the new combat skills. Also, a huge number of scripts that I've modified to fix skill checks are part of these systems, so it would be very difficult to roll out only Skills.
