Is there a post that states this? The last I read was that Vocals would not count toward performing (unless you're a Bard), because otherwise, everyone would have bloated performing ranks, and skill checks would need to be adjusted to complicate. The [https://www.sebeni.us/public/dr3/Skills.html latest documentation] is self-contradictory. --[[User:Isharon|Isharon]] 10:30, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

:It's kinda-sorta right. Vocals does run under performing now, but it isn't used in the merger nor does it actually train the skill. --[[User:TEVESHSZAT|TEVESHSZAT]] 10:34, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

I'm going to hold off on incorporating the latest round of announcements until we get some clear information about what changes will take place. (It seems like the last round of posts shows a continuing evolution in 3.0 plans, so I don't want to spend a lot of time adding information that may change tomorrow.) --Isharon 21:55, 2 October 2012 (UTC)

Performing

Performing: Performing includes all of the instrument skills - Percussions, Winds, Strings, and Vocals.

Is there a post that states this? The last I read was that Vocals would not count toward performing (unless you're a Bard), because otherwise, everyone would have bloated performing ranks, and skill checks would need to be adjusted to complicate. The latest documentation is self-contradictory. --Isharon 10:30, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

It's kinda-sorta right. Vocals does run under performing now, but it isn't used in the merger nor does it actually train the skill. --TEVESHSZAT 10:34, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
It's not contradictory; performing covers the tasks that vocals used to (that's what's meant by including it) but doesn't use vocals in its calculation.--Antendren 21:10, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
