Character Page
Hello. We're doing a clean up of character pages. You currently have the player character template in use on User:RWYCKOFF/Sandbox. The user pages are meant to be about the player and for your 'wiki editing needs', and you can have separate character pages named like your character. So there should be a separate page named Caidie with that information on it. If you'd like, I can move it over for you. As it's set up currently with the template, your user page displays in lists like the list of player characters and various other pages. Moving it will not change any of the content on it. --GAMERGIRL151 (talk) 03:18, 3 May 2016 (CDT)
Hey, I just went ahead and deleted it. I was using it as an editing page and after I made the character page, I forgot to delete it here. Thanks!
Possible copyright issue
- We are concerned about the copyright status and/or missing attribution of Maxmoon.jpg. Please respond here within 3 days, or the image will be deleted.
- Images on Elanthipedia must either be created by or for the poster, or permission must be obtained from the copyright holder. Please include the original source (artist and/or copyright holder) when posting images. Like most other wikis, Elanthipedia does not allow images of unknown or unverifiable origin. --Elanthipedia:Copyrights
- Note: Manipulating or modifying an image that someone else created does not make it solely your own for the purpose of Elanthipedia's copyright policy. You must still get permission from the original content creator, and the file page must link to the original source.
- Attribution Requirements: All image files require the following attribution on the file page:
- name of artist (can simply be the artist's DR account or character name if it was created by you or another player)
- character or group for which it was created
- If the image was not created by you or for you, you must get permission from the copyright holder before uploading it to Elanthipedia. Please include a link to the original along with the statement of permission.
- Example of a proper attribution:
- Portrait of Sarkranis by the player of Ausmodius
- Commissioned by Sarkranis; used with permission.
Howdy! The copyright of the images you recently uploaded (Leil.jpg, etc.) are unclear. In general, if you didn't create the image, and it wasn't created for you, you need to get permission from the owner before posting it. Please include the source (artist and/or copyright holder) when posting images. Like most other wikis, Elanthipedia does not allow images of unknown or unverifiable origin. The images will be deleted in three days if an appropriate source isn't listed. Please see our Elanthipedia:Copyrights policy for more details.--ABSOLON (talk) 16:33, 20 September 2015 (CDT)
The leil.jpg was deleted already by Rwyckoff. However just to be clear the other pictures on this page I created from a program and other things i purchased in order to create them --THISACCOUNT (talk) 12:12, 22 September 2015 (CDT)
- Okay. Could you add a little blurb like 'This image created by and used with permission of User:THISACCOUNT' or something to each picture. Thanks!--ABSOLON (talk) 14:07, 22 September 2015 (CDT)
Sorry to bug you again, but it looks like I wasn't entirely clear. The new file you uploaded Aylay.jpg is done correctly with the blurb on the page itself rather than in the comments of the edit. Since it's there in the comments, I'll go ahead and fix it for you since there's a paper-trail of sorts now but for future images do what you did with Aylay.jpg.(Also make sure you include [[Category:Images]] in the edit box when uploading an image file. The instructions for this are at the top of the upload page.) Cheers!--ABSOLON (talk) 16:20, 22 September 2015 (CDT)- Actually scratch that. It actually looks fine the way it is. I'll still fix the image categories for you though.--ABSOLON (talk) 16:21, 22 September 2015 (CDT)
