Submitted in writing to Aaiyaah Kenman, Court Advisor to the Baron of Therengia.

To his Grace Baron Gyfford Theren,

I humbly petition you to extend the protection of the law and safe passage through your lands, to the redeemed necromancer Briaen Huns, known as the Knight Penitent of Berengaria. Among all the enemies of the demonic, none are more steadfast or unyielding than this man, who, having once been seduced by the lies and promises of a corrupting cult, has opened his eyes to the divine light of dawn.

I respect the traditions of Therengia, land of my birth, and would not trouble your Grace save for my unshakable belief that Reason and Justice must be allowed to triumph over prejudice so that our enemies may never claim the lands for which you have been so faithful a steward. By granting your protection to Briaen you would honor the mercy and wisdom of the gods, encourage the redemption of lost souls, and strike a decisive blow against Jeihrem, Sivroch and all the demonic hosts which crave the corruption or destruction of all of the wonders of our world.

I sincerely thank you for considering my petition, and pray the gods may bless you and your House. Should your Grace be willing to extend your protection to Briaen, I am prepared to offer whatever you ask of me in assurance.
