Testing with only one subject, I always inflicted -15 strength, no matter how much mana I used. This is someone I greatly outclassed, so maybe it's contested and I was getting a total success with even min mana?

That is most likely, since when I tested I was getting anywhere from about 3 to 15ish (I can't remember exactly what my high end was, but it was around that) for a strength penalty. Since you consistently found 15, I'm going to assume that is the correct cap. I don't have the results anymore, but I used coins and encumbrance to determine it. I also assume this is an equal penalty to all three stats, but haven't tested. The other thing I didn't test was if the lingering effects are weakened, like with other lingering enchantes like Drums and Madman.--Evran 21:19, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
