Description: The Siphon Vitality spell strikes your opponent with a powerful blast of Necromantic energy. Once this energy reaches the flesh and blood of its target, it saps the very life force from it, causing the opponent to wither and possibly die. If this spell is fully targeted, the caster will receive a portion of the siphoned-out energy.
Example Messaging: With a slight flick, <caster> points one of his fingers at <target>.

Leaping from <caster>'s finger, an oozing tendril of reddish-black energy snakes towards <target>!
The tendril latches onto <target>'s head!
A tornado of red and black tentacles whirls across and through <his/her> face, as the entire head wracks and contorts in a brief expression of agony before dissolving into bits of bone dust and desiccated blood.

The tendril latches onto <target>'s left hand!
As if disappointed by the less vital location that it has managed to attach to, the voracious tendril's spurts of reddish-black energy consume <target>'s entire left hand within the blink of an eye, leaving simply a blizzard of desiccated blood and remnants of mostly disintegrated bone behind.

The tendril latches onto <target>'s chest!
Reddish-black energy carves a swath through <his/her> chest, every bit of <target>'s body that the spasming tendril touches disintegrating instantly, until <he/she> is split into two equally dead masses.

Notes

  • Must be fully targeted to leech victims vitality. This is supposed to change in magic 3.0
  • Restores 10% of vit at capped cast.
