Description

Standing over twenty feet tall, a salt golem is a being made entirely out of salt, except for its eyes which glow an eerie dark red color and appear to be the source of its animation. Specks of salt constantly shed from its massive frame, showering to the ground in waves. It stares forward with an uncaring gaze, although there is a deep-rooted malevolence in its ethereal eyes.

Recall

These massive constructs are made entirely out of salt and rock, and tend to flourish on beaches or near other bodies of salt water. These creatures are automations that mindlessly attack any intruders that wander too near them.

Though salt golems are enormous, they are constantly shedding salt from their bodies, and thus tend to be rather short-lived, especially in fresh water. However, a supply of salt from sea air is usually enough to sustain them for a long while.

Salt golems were originally created by the Lich Jeihrem due to the otherwise scarce resources on his island. They are typically used as guards in unpopulated areas, where indescriminate attacks are desired by him.

They are not known to cast any recognized spells.

They are known to carry loot in locked boxes.
