Aaiyaah exclaims, "Hello and welcome everyone! Therengian Orders, citizens, allies, and guests! Today we are meeting to discuss current happenings, upcoming events, take petitions, and any other topics that folks may wish to discuss!"
Aaiyaah says, "I am honored to be facilitating this meeting to provide a platform for us all to communicate with His Grace, Baron Gyfford the Keep in the form of petitions and updates provided by all whom wish to speak. But the main purpose of these meetings is for Therengians to come together and work towards advancing His Grace's vision for Therengia."
Salvitoriel quietly says, "My thanks to ye dantia."
Aaiyaah says, "For clarity, the agenda of today's meeting is as follows...brief introduction and overview of the purpose of the meeting (what we are doing now)....update on current events....petitions....upcoming events scheduled....then finally open floor."
Dantia says to Salvitoriel, "Always my pleasure."
Aaiyaah asks, "That said, we are fresh off an audience with Baron Gyfford last week and we can begin a new slate of petitions! I do want to convey the Keep's appreciation of everyone's attendance and contributions at the audience. That said, let us get started. Who would like to kick us off?"
Aaiyaah asks, "Who would like the floor first?"
Aaiyaah exclaims, "Alright, well I will kick us off then!"
Aaiyaah exclaims, "I would like to start off the meeting with the fantastic news of the re activation of the Northern Watch led by Sir Madigan!"
Aaiyaah says, "Congratulations old friend."
Madigan says, "Top notch. Mazrian will be the XO and we will introduce the officers of Combat 1 and 2 and Support in the near future."
Aaiyaah says, "For those of you who served in the days back when the Watch was active along with the Cav, and Baron's Own, it was always a geniune pleasure to work with them."
Madigan says, "Should be a good time and of course, we like to fight so there is that as well."
Aaiyaah says, "I am personally excited to see the Watch return and to see our forces continue to grow and bring in and build leaders and warriors for Therengia."
Aaiyaah asks, "Sir Madigan, anything else you wish to speak on before moving the floor to anyone else?"
Madigan asks, "Not a thing. XO?"
Mazrian says, "Not much. You all know us, so you should know what to expect."
Mazrian says, "We'll be doing selection over the next couple of weeks."
Mazrian says, "So if you're interested and not otherwise engaged, feel free to talk to Madigan or I."
Mazrian says, "That's all I've got."
Aaiyaah says, "Thank you both Madigan and Mazrian! I am excited to work along side both of you and the Watch as we move forward."
Aaiyaah asks, "Now, who is next that wishes to speak?"
Delani asks, "Just curious, what exactly does the Watch do that the other Therengian orders don't already?"
Aaiyaah exclaims to Siendra, "Welcome!"
Siendra exclaims, "Hello! Thank you!"
Aaiyaah says, "I will defer to Sir Madigan to answer that."
Madigan says, "We fight."
Vekara says, "Aha."
Vekara says to Aaiyaah, "Hidden."
Vekara says, "And no reserve."
Madigan says, "The other orders to tha as well I should add."
Aaiyaah says to Vekara, "His Grace told me about this nice table, figured why not."
Vekara exclaims, "Oh it's here!"
Aaiyaah asks, "Any further questions regarding the Watch before we move on?"
Tekhelet asks, "Wait, that's it? Fight?"
Karthor says, "Well they are a militia."
Vuulag asks Tekhelet, "And maybe watch?"
Madigan says, "That is pretty much it."
Mazrian says to Tekhelet, "We train, we support each other, and probably occasionally engage in shennanigans."
Mazrian says, "In addition to the fighting."
Madigan says, "And, now you see why he is XO."
Aaiyaah says, "I for one am excited for folks who did not get to work with the Watch in the past to get the chance this time around."
Hatham quietly says, "I recall an old dwarven chap that was in the Watch many years ago....but I cannot recall his name..."
Tekhelet asks, "Is there time for a couple of questions for the Northern Watch, or is that for a later time?"
Aaiyaah says, "Sure, of course, please."
Aaiyaah says, "The floor is yours."
Tekhelet asks, "I'm wondering if Siksraja is a place the Norther Watch will go to or is it just a Riverhaven thing?" Madigan says, "Therengia. If the Baron touches it we touch it."
Madigan says, "Assuming there is a need."
Siendra quietly says, "Please don't phrase it that way."
Mazrian dryly says, "In the most wholesome possible way. We'll take forays to exotic locations to train, sometimes, as well."
Tweedum says to Dantia, "My work here is done."
Tekhelet says, "Then I'm jsut wondering who some other members might be, and how many members strong you are."
Madigan says, "Sip colds drinks and fish, you know the usual."
Madigan says, "Just us two lonely people presently Tekhelet."
Zynell asks Dantia, "Lonely?"
Tekhelet says, "I see. I think that's all, just curious."
Hatham quietly says to Madigan, "Soon there will be three, sir."
Madigan says, "Sure thing. If you think you can past muster, we can have you run the Gauntlet Tek."
Madigan says, "Not many make it past that stage."
Tekhelet says, "Many more stong soon it seems."
Kenamer says to Tekhelet, "If Riverhaven is your home and you wish to learn more about ho to serve here I encourage you to see the Order of the Dragonshield, as we are more firectly responsible for upholding the Baron's orders on this side of the lake."
Madigan says, "The goal is hopefully to get a little juice flowing and maybe lift the tides for all groups. Would love to see all the rosters expand."
Aaiyaah says, "Thank you Tek. Great questions."
Aaiyaah asks, "Alright, moving on. Who has anything they wish to speak on?"
You say to Dantia, "That fills in the blank."
Aaiyaah says, "I sense folks are ready to put me to work with new petitions...."
Dantia teasingly says to Aaiyaah, "Nothing like an Audience to bring out more petitions."
Aaiyaah exclaims, "Thank you Gort!!"
Gorteous says, "Thank you kindly Advisor. I appreciate the time."
Aaiyaah says, "Of course sir."
Gorteous asks, "With the recent news if the Northern Watch, which we are all very excited about and supportive of. It might be a good opportunity to further explain how Sanctioned Orders functions and how Militias functions to the citizens?"
Mazrian says, "Man, no one knows where to start with that one, do they."
Aaiyaah exclaims, "Oh! Let me speak to that then!"
Madigan says, "We also keep the XO to break uncomfortable silences."
Mazrian says, "Nothing breaks the ice like a hammer, I say."
Aaiyaah says, "So folks, I can honestly tell you coming from serving in the Theren Guard and now on the Court I have the fond memories of working with militias which are not brigades in Therengia."
Vuulag asks Delani, "What is the XO?"
Delani quietly says to Vuulag, "I think it's hugs and kisses? I don't speak militia."
Tekhelet asks Vuulag, "Hugs and kisses?"
Elizzibiana says to Vuulag, "Second in command or executive officer."
Mazrian says, "I'm just a big teddybear, so that tracks."
Aaiyaah says, "Our Sanctioned Orders in Therengia , which follow santionining with approved Charters that the Provincial Orders council approve while His Grace then fully empowers. The Northern Watch is not a sanctioned Order but has been activated as another brigade in Therengia."
Madigan says, "Tek, you should try to kiss the XO. That will demonstrate the likes to fight aspect of us." Aaiyaah says, "While all three units work and operate independently, we all serve to uphold His Grace's orders and directives."
Aaiyaah says, "So, where a Order have requirements such as events, following a charter, and other guidelines for sanctioning, the Watch and other non sanctioned operate without Charters and requirements obviously."
Silvwyn says to Mazrian, "I don't remember you being the type to be defined as a.. teddy bear. Not quite the word I'd go for."
Tirost quietly says to Mazrian, "Hammer was more accurate, I think."
Aaiyaah says, "So what does this mean with regards to the citizens? Not a whole lot truly. It is purely an internal operation that each have independently. Now, ODS focuses heavily on this side of the lake while Theren Guard focuses more on the other side. Both Orders have a wonderful history of service and we are lucky to have them."
Aaiyaah asks, "Am I making any sense on this for everyone of should I stop and try again?"
Kenamer says to Aaiyaah, "Sounds right to me."

Tekhelet says to Aaiyaah, "That helps, thank you."
Silvwyn says to Tirost, "Accidental maelstrom, I'd say. A hammer is more targeted."
Tirost says to Silvwyn, "Fair."
Gorteous says, "I appreciate you sharing. Being that brigades have been a bit quiet as of late, it seemed a good time to talk through some of that so citizens understand the roles and limitations."
Sothios whispers, "thanks Dear"
Aaiyaah says, "Let me be clear. In my understanding and view, the activation of the Northern Watch is only in my eyes, a Great thing to bolster what we are lucky to have with Theren Guard and ODS."
Aaiyaah says, "We should all be encouraged and excited to see things continuing to grow and move forward."
Mazrian says, "A good I-just-saw-one-in-the-wild-how-do-I-identify-it way to think of it is the Orders have charters of governance and responsibilities besides being combat-ready, while the militias are pretty much just about what it says on the tin."
Aaiyaah says, "Another great way to put it, thank you Mazrian."
Tekhelet asks, "And is the Theren Guard a militia as well?"
Aaiyaah says, "Theren Guard as well as ODS are both Orders and Brigades."
Aaiyaah says, "They have Commanders as well , which are their Speakers."
Zynell asks, "What is the baron's perspective on being part of both an order and an unsanctioned group elsewhere?" Aaiyaah says, "It is typically frowned upon."
Aaiyaah says, "But , especially in the case of Orders, His Grace trusts the leadership and councils that run said Orders."
Kenamer says to Aaiyaah, "Meaning that we govern ourselves more directly."
Aaiyaah asks, "I hope that helps in a bit?"
Aaiyaah says, "I totally did not expect to speak on that so I apologize if I butchered any of that."
Kenamer asks Gorteous, "MayI ask? who is in charge of the Guards strikeforce currently?"
Karthor says to Gorteous, "Bonus points fer keepin' the Advisor on his toes."
Gorteous says, "Great, more moat duty for me."
Madigan says, "Bloody moat."
Aaiyaah says, "The truth is, if I put my old Theren Guard hat back on, I could talk ALL of your ears off about it."
Gorteous says, "I didn't set that question up very well. Thank you for taking that on Advisor."
Aaiyaah says, "But I want you all to come back."
Aaiyaah says, "Of course, happy to speak to that."
Aaiyaah says, "Both Theren Guard and ODS have special places in my heart for a number of reasons."
Aaiyaah says, "I know the immense work that it takes to run those Orders."
Aaiyaah says, "So, with that. Moving on."
Gorteous says to Kenamer, "I'm so sorry, I realize I missed your question."
Zalinyar says, "I've got Familiar-Rarity tomorrow, a time to enteract with your familiars, companion animals and pets. Think of ... a duet type talent show."
Gorteous says to Kenamer, "Delph is currently."
Zalinyar says, "Then the Jousting club has been named, Heart and Helm."
Madigan says, "Delph is good people."
Madigan says, "Top notch fellow."
Zalinyar says, "We will be meeting twice monthly on the last day of the week, second and fourth, usually."
Kenamer says to Gorteous, "My point was that we each have a member of the order who has charge of our perspective strikeforces."
Zalinyar says, "There will obviously be exceptions to that, but that is the plan at the time for Heart and Helm Jousting Club."
Aaiyaah asks, "Anything else m lady?"
Zalinyar says, "Nope."
Delani asks Zalinyar, "Do we need to joust to attend?"
Penrhyn says to Aaiyaah, "Thank you."
Zalinyar says, "You don't spectators are welcome to watch the activities, and we do work with novice jousters, and even have a ranger, Robarvo, who provides the horsesfor us."
Dantia whispers to your group, "Oh, perhaps now we get to hear the petition that they previously reserved?"
Mazrian whispers to your group, "I am absolutely on my toes in anticipation."
Zalinyar says, "As teh club progresses and grows, we will be hosting a variety of activities and events."
Delani says, "Oh good. I'm not much for falling off horses."
Penrhyn says, "We have, unfortunately, one event today which will need to be rescheduled. Atvus has a really fun dice game with some fantastic prizes, but it has to be postponed."
Aislynn quietly says, "Later! It will still be fun."
Tekhelet asks, "Dice?"
Penrhyn says, "However, ODS is hosting another open-to-the-public patrol later on this week, if anyone is interested in seeing how we do things."
Penrhyn says to Aaiyaah, "That's all we have for today."
Penrhyn says, "Thank you."
Aaiyaah says, "Of course, thank you m lady."
Aaiyaah says, "Folks, please welcome for the first time, Siendra."
You exclaim, "Welcome, Siendra!"
Siendra says, "Hello everyone, thank you so much."
Siendra says, "Um, I have a...well, I suppose a quick observation, and an announcement. So I hope I'm not coming in too strong."
Siendra says, "I have been nervous to attend these meetings in the past, as I am not...great at the politics. But having now attended the Baron's audience, and here, and being able to see the growth of the people in this province, it's really warmed me."
Siendra says, "A quilt is only so strong as its threads, and there are many patches pulled together in Theren. Maybe sometimes it's not the prettiest quilt, but I think I'm seeing...a very nice one come together."
Siendra says, "To that, I aspire to be a part of that. My Pack and I have begun monthly getherings in Siksraja, to showcase the small village."
Mazrian says, "Here here."
Siendra says, "Some of you have attended already, and we welcome all of you to join in the future. This coming month, Atvus will be taking us to our sacred cave and speaking on our religion."
Siendra says, "There will be fishing nights, storytelling nights, food notes - the most important one, I know."
Siendra says, "So I am honored and hope to continue to be a part of this. Thank you all."
Madigan says, "That is outstanding. Atvus is good people."
Siendra says to Aaiyaah, "That is all for me."

Aaiyaah says, "Alright, before we close the meeting, I do have something I would like to share with everyone of more a personal nature, if that is ok."
Aaiyaah says, "I wanted to take a moment to share with you all something very important to me."
Aaiyaah says, "Recently, with the blessing of His Grace and Lady Athelisa, I proposed and Teyl accepted to be wed."
Aaiyaah says, "So this is our formal announcement of our engagement."
Mazrian says, "Outstanding."
Mazrian says, "Now you two will have to race Madigan and Dantia."
Dantia exclaims to Aaiyaah, "What wonderful news, congratulations!"
Madigan says, "Outstanding."
Dantia says, "Gah, no. No racing."
Zalinyar says, "Congratulations."
You exclaim, "Another wedding on the horizon! How spectacular!"
Madigan says, "Another good thing about the XO. He knows shady places on Ratha for bachelor parties, or so I am told."
