The DIR system has seen a facelift. A number of changes happened behind-the-scenes, but here's some of what you may notice.
New Categories: Crafting, services and inns were added as new categories. Inns is more broad than just "where you go to reroll"; Raven's Court is listed here as are a few others.
New Crossing Destinations: Wolf Clan, Tiger Clan, Commissary, Randall's Repair, trader market and plaza, card collector, amusement pier, lottery office, crafting halls, registration office, horse stables, caravan stables, Estate Holder office, landfall docks, Sand Spit Tavern and Raven's Court -- there may be a few others.
New Riverhaven Directions: Caravan and trader stables, crafting halls, trader market and plaza, Pejek Bog, the tobacco/smoke shop, Thringol's Weapons and possibly a few others.
Better Backtracking: Most destinations should also function to let you get back. There were quirks with some in the past where you could be lead there, but then had to find your own way back. That may still be the case for some, but we tried to squish it where we could.
New Format: It now outputs with some manner of formatting to make it easier to read than the jumbled mess before. You'll also notice that Categories and Key Words are clearly labeled for each destination. No more guessing games! Many of the old descriptions were updated as well to actually be somewhat descriptive of what the destination is (shoutout to Elanthipedia's guild summaries!). Lastly, those of you using Stormfront, categories and destinations can be clicked on to automatically generate paths instead of typing it out. It defaults to listing 10 steps at a time when doing it this way. If you want more or less, you can still type it out as before.
Special thanks to the mentors and GM staff for offering additional destinations to be included as well as early feedback on formatting and destination quirks.
If you have suggestions for future updates, I'll be happy to note them, but barring emergencies, it'll be a bit before we update this again -- it's very taxing to generate all the paths! Plat has had this for a few days without incident, so it's now live in Prime and TF. If you notice anything off or broken, please let me know.
