There are currently at least five ways to train Empathy without healing PCs! Granted, only two of them are consistent enough to be viable training methods. Healing NPCs is unlikely, at least for now, though I have considered ways to let PC Empaths help out in the various infirmaries around Elanthia. When adding new ways to learn Empathy, I would be looking for ways that would be interesting to the Empath and benefit them somehow, other than resulting in Empathy exp. For instance, manipulating things results in Empathy as a byproduct of using the ability to hunt. More healing feats would have their own uses but would also teach better. Do you see what I mean?
