This isn't actually correct. Barbs and Bards won't be able to train BL or Expertise at all out the gate. Once they can, it'll be a hard req. Rangers have a soft req for scouting, but thieves intentionally have no backstabbing reqs. Backstabbing isn't inherent in being a thief - It's just an ability you have access to and can train, and is respected by your guildleaders as "Thiefly enough to circle with". If/when we expand the notion of backstabbing (That's a different discussion), it may become more embedded in the core spirit of the guild. | |
