>>I wish Anther's Call didn't have what seems to be a huge random factor. I'd just like to get the max length with max success etc.

The spell itself includes no random factor. Winning by the same amount will net you the same duration every time. If you're noticing large discrepancies in the duration, it's the random factors in the SvA contest that are causing your success to fluctuate wildly.

>>Does IP knock things over any time there is success/contact? (assuming the target is bipedal)

Yes, and even critters that have more than two legs. I did post in error before, however -- I did code the spell to be slightly more easily evaded if the target has more than two legs. It's still substantially less than the previous contested penalty.

>>I'm not seeing anything as far as shield messaging so I'm assuming you did keep that out. I think it's fine without it.

I removed the shield messaging if the target is dead. It's a bit silly to say the victim's shield deflected some of the blow after its head has been smashed open. Insult to injury and all that. As long as the victim is still alive, though, you should see shield messaging after the damage.
