Some areas in which terts and secondaries are 'not as good as primes'. (Note: Probably not exhaustive)

1) Slower harness regeneration overall.
2) Higher mana retention needed in order to gain the 'fast' harness regeneration rates.
3) Slower rate of mana improvement with PP.
4) (Terts only) Spell rate acquisition is slower.
5) Currently a less impressive spell selection overall (lack of high tier TM spells, no metamagic, etc.).
