Dragons are described as fascinated by the gods, all the more-so because they do not have the access to the divine emanations (favors, Holy Mana, etc.) that Humans do. Albuam's host claimed that dragons do not worship the gods directly, because no one answers their prayers. It's instead taken up more as an intellectual puzzle.

Infuriatingly, all through the text Albuam only refers to "the gods" in the broad plural sense and does not specify any particular deity.
