>>Can a necromancer use "warn interact" to prevent themselves from being accused by someone perceiving their aura?
If someone is warn interacting you, it is in your best interest to leave them alone. We've left the realm of IC interactions and moved into OOC interactions. Let's look at WARN for a moment (trimming out the non relevant parts since this is kind of long): >>When this method is employed, an OOC message will be sent to the player, privately letting them know your feelings, to clear up any possible doubt about where you both stand. Records are kept of all communications issued and received, as well as whether they were acknowledged or declined, as applicable. That's it. That's what WARN does. It is a tool to communicate between players how they feel about the situation, and it does so in such a way that it can be tracked by GMs. >>INTERACTION The key things here are NO INTERACTION WHATSOEVER. If whatever you want to do is an interaction, then you should not be doing it. The other key thing is that this goes both ways. If you Warn Interact someone you are taking it on yourself to avoid them as well. Move away from the situation. You're done. Over. >>Note that in all cases, this verb is simply for improved communication. Policy and handling of situations remains unchanged, and under no circumstances should the WARN verb be viewed as an excuse or license to take matters into your own hands, should the other party ignore your wishes. As always, your best course of action in such a situation is to place an ASSIST and speak with a GameHost. And I think that speaks for itself. Beyond that I'm just going to echo what Armifer said, plat problems belong on the plat forums, thread done. | |
