Prison Riot: The Aftermath Loot Info · on 12/17/2012 04:25 AM CST 4109
Heyas folks.

This is the planned loot list for Prison Riot: The Aftermath. It's largely finalized, but we reserve the right to make balancing tweaks, re-organize the lists, and to add or remove loot. The best way to break this down is by source, so here we go!

OLD LOOT:
Since some of the older quests are retiring, we've moved the newer loot items from them into this quest's so that there's still a chance to grab them. To be clear, in case the older quests DO reappear, these items were removed from those quests and placed in Prison Riot: The Aftermath. Loot was taken from Prison Riot, Dunshade, Ghost Ship and Gnome. Please see post 3989 of Paid Events / Quests for details on those items (Here: http://forums.play.net/forums/DragonRealms/Events%20and%20Happenings%20in%20DragonRealms'%20Elanthia/Paid%20Events%20%60%20Quests/view/3989 ) All of these items are in the "good" finish category, but I haven't listed them since their info has been put out before.

NEW LOOT:
Treasure for this quest is similar to some of the older quests. There's a "good" set of treasure for finishing the objectives, and there's a "less good" set of treasure if you fail to meet the primary goals (these are always available). Treasure is not tiered like Tower Quest's -- you either get the good stuff or you don't. Keep in mind that this list doesn't include the moved 'old' treasure discussed above. Here's what we have for new stuff:

SCRIP:
We'll be adding some new items to the scrip shop so you can spend you're newly earned scrip! These items aren't currently in place, but will be "soon". I'd like to watch the initial release of the expanded furniture options from end prizes before we (potentially) flood more through the scrip shop. Prices aren't set yet, but I'll post when they are. Here's the list:

ITEM SHORT DESCRIPTION DETAILS COST
a yellow voucher home furniture 30 item bed 1200

INCIDENTALS:
All together, there are over 80 potential creature drops. There are 3 tiers (common/rare/super rare) that range in quality frayed green shirts up to tier 5 weapons and armor. I'm only going to show you the 'super rare' category, and I'm not offering stats/descriptions/etc. This is simply so you can more easily recognize them:

some silver gilt-edged field plate with spike-tipped coudieres, a broad curved falchion engraved with stylized boars, a mahogany lap harp with thin steel wires, a kitchen pot helm painted with a winged pig, a watered-steel katar with a wire-wrapped hilt, a cooking pot lid painted with a grinning skull, a triple-linked chain lorica crafted from blued steel, a delicate silverwillow lyre embellished with carved ivy leaves, a finely chiseled obsidian battle axe and a heavy steel flail with a leather-wrapped flamewood haft.

I think that covers it. As I said before, this is largely finalized, but if anything weird comes up, we may make tweaks. If there are changes, I'll be sure to post about them.

I'm going to hold off on sharing appraisals this time around. The Plat players have had three test runs of the quest (two with partial loot available). If they want to share, that's fine.
