Sorcery (and PM, but this matters less practically) both boosts the contest and also applies a cap on max effective skill. The cap is pretty generous, which is why it hasn't come up when discussing PM, but it'll definitely show itself when dealing with a Sorcery / spell-skill gulf. | |
