Today, I have released a new Hireling for the guild. It is a hireling that will allow you to deliver a single object or a container of objects to another player that is currently online. You will need to be 30th circle to use the ability and there is a fee involved. Initially you can deliver to players that are in the same city, but at higher circles, your hireling can deliver to an entire province or to anywhere in the game. The hireling does have an overall weight limit and this will vary based on each Trader. Your level is a big part of how much the hireling is willing to carry for you but there are other factors you'll discover as well. When you ask the hireling for weight, he/she will give you a message indicating if you are within acceptable limits to deliver or not. While the messaging may not be exact, it will give ranges and hopefully be a bit entertaining. Simply type HIRE Delivery to begin and then ASK (hireling) FOR HELP to get yourself moving along. Not using the hireling for 5 minutes will result in it leaving and you not having access to them again for a short period as they do not appreciate their time being wasted. If you find you don't need a hireling, it is best to ASK (hireling) FOR DISMISS. The receiving player will have to accept the delivery but it will be hard for them to miss the attempt on your part. On another note, hireling prices have been adjusted. Instead of being charged more based on how far the hireling can go, a hireling will now charge a set rate for a given service. Previously, those Traders able to get a hireling to go to another province payed more than those that could only get the hireling to go within the same province. This is no longer the case. While the cost of locating is different than the cost of messaging, distance is no longer calculated into the cost. Also, if you have recently located, messaged or delivered to a person and you do so again within a short time period, the next hireling will often (not always) charge you a bit less. This is because they know generally where the person is at and do not have to work as hard to complete the second task.
