Sorcery also has some benefits that does not translate directly to mana efficiency, but otherwise yes. Just like in the current system, a spell's effectiveness is measured by its Potency irrespective of how it arrived at that number. While I am aware most PCs will choose to be generalists (since it's the most rewarding option), we designed the new magic system with the ability to neglect some of the specialized skills. Ironically, Debilitation will probably be the least costly one to neglect. | |
