>>While we're on the subject of drakes, I did have another question about them. I noticed that I can't seem to affect them at all with any of my spells, which struck me as a little odd. I can affect Dragon Priest Assassins rather easily with very little mana, but even if I dump a bunch of power into a debilitation spell the drakes still resist it (and that wouldn't be very effective for training anyway). Do the drakes have some sort of special magic resistance to them, or way-out-of-whack high stats or something? Or are constructs just immune to all of the Empath debilitation spells? I would have thought NB or Lethargy would work. I noticed Compel had a "this doesn't work on constructs" sort of failure message, which stinks but at least it told me what was going on...I'd probably be able to train there if I had a way to manage the numbers :/

I checked into this -- the assassins for some reason have absurdly low stats. It almost seems like that might be a bug, but they're not really mine to mess with so I'll just have to ask someone about it. The drakes have stats set appropriately to their level and the assassins have the stats of like a level 70 moon mage.

Drakes are resistant to fire damage for obvious reasons, and they don't bleed (also for obvious reasons). They are really hard to knock down (since they can pretty much reshape themselves at will), but that's about it.

I made a few minor tweaks to the drakes to see if that will help with them teaching weapons worse than elders. Let me know if it feels any better. As I said, they are harder than elders, so it's not surprising that they might hit folks a bit more often.
