| Well, each metal has its own properties for things like hardness, physical resistance, and thermal and electrical conductivity. All of those are taken into consideration when used with forging. Furthermore, many materials will interact with enchanting in different ways. When skinning gets redone and tailoring is finished, things will make a lot more sense and give crafters many more options then they have now. | |
