You exclaim, "Okay, I think we can probably get started. Thank you all for joining me here this evening!"

Illiya beams!

Elurora grins at you.

Shaylynne takes a sip of her coffee.

You say, "I've got a number of visions to discuss this evening. Thankfully they are, mostly, less intense than the ones discussed at the last meeting."

You say, "The sense of chaos and surge of sensations no longer surrounds all the visions that are being experienced."

Kethrai says to you, "Sounds like we're walking under a very, very high bar."

Karthor asks in a Haakish accent, "Back down to the usual level o' doom, eh?"

Anuril smirks.

Illiya grins at Karthor, her dimples flashing into view.

You say, "Most of these have been seen quite recently, but I'll start with one that started being seen in the aftermath of the battle against the Heralds, as all of those chaotic visions stopped appearing."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

You exclaim, "Everything wavered, and I felt wildly disoriented. I found myself looking down an endless hallway filled with featureless doors. One of the doors opened, and an old woman emerged. She turned to me, shooed me away, and called out in a tired tone, "That was close!"

You say, "She turned to shut the door, but not before I caught a glimpse of a lush and untamed landscape. The door shut, and with a loud *click* she turned the lock, and the vision faded."

Elizzibiana raises an eyebrow.

Gwenddolyn says, "Interesting."

Karthor scratches his head.

You say, "The old woman and the hallway full of doors have been seen before."

Gwenddolyn says, "Clearly there is more to follow."

Illiya dimples at Gwenddolyn.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Is that perhaps the null prizon doors?"

Gwenddolyn says, "Prison."

Gwenddolyn coughs.

You say, "In this case, I think that was perhaps a glimpse of what might have happened if the Heralds had not been defeated. So the Plane of Abiding, at least, seems like it would have survived."

Elurora says, "I think it's different futures."

Kethrai says, "The doors represent... possible paths of the future, yeah? The.. branching paths."

Kethrai nods to Elurora.

Elurora nods to Kethrai.

Illiya says to Elurora, "I like that interpretation."

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Well she's right if nothin' else. It was, in fact, close."

Gwenddolyn says, "That is a good possibility too."

Ophiliah gazes off into the distance.

Shaylynne nods to you.

Gwenddolyn says, "At least we had futures instead of none."

Kethrai says, "Through the door we didn't see, it... still looked like Abiding survived. It was just different than ours."

You say, "There was another vision previously somewhat to that effect. Showing a lush field growing where Crossing used to be."

Shaylynne asks, "Used to be?"

Gwenddolyn says, "That may still happen."

Gwenddolyn says, "They might come back."

Casari says, "People do like trying to burn down cities, after all."

You say to Shaylynne, "Used to be, from the perspective of the future."

You grin.

Elurora gazes off into the distance.

Jaelia says, "And just because a door shuts on one possibility of a lush and untamed enviornment, doesn't mean we can't support cultivating and appreciating those places in our own time and place, and protect and encourage them, and still have a balance where civilization stands. It doesn't mean Nature is going to be destroyed or should be ignored or abused."

Shaylynne nods to you.

Aemaranth says in a melodic accent, "Everything eventually dies. That is what is supposed to happen."

Perune mockingly says in an Ilithic accent, "I wonder which door holds Sorrow's return."

Karthor chortles softly at some secret joke.

Aemaranth says in a melodic accent, "So a field of grass where a city used to be would be the way life is supposed to go."

Perune grins at Karthor.

Gwenddolyn says, "Except the Heralds and this old woman with the cigarillo and hat, they don't seem to die."

Jaelia nods.

Elurora slowly says, "I'd say those three Heralds are dead, but that doesn't mean they were the last three."

Gwenddolyn says, "I think she is so old, she must be a Lich or something worse."

Anuril takes a sip of his cocktail.

Casari says, "Unless they manifest themselves back out of the Immortals. That would be something."

Gwenddolyn says, "Rlurora is right, there are probably more Heralds than those 3."

Aemaranth exclaims to Gwenddolyn in a melodic accent, "Cearly, it must be. Everything is!"

Gwenddolyn says, "Elurora."

Karthor asks Gwenddolyn in a Haakish accent, "She could just as well be a figurative concept as an actual being, eh?"

You say, "For beings on that scale, I would be hesitant to declare for sure that they are 'dead' in the sense of something final. But at the moment any problems there are in the Immortals' court."

Casari says, "Seemed like everything went according to the Immortals' plan."

Ophiliah yawns expansively.

Kethrai says, "If they are not dead, they are surely weakened, their power consumed by Urrem'tier and the other thirty-eight."

You nod to Kethrai.

Anuril nods to Casari.

Perune folds his arms across his chest.

Gwenddolyn says, "I get the feeling that it is far from being over."

Elurora whispers something to Gridaksma.

Tirost glances at Gwenddolyn.

Aemaranth nods politely to Gridaksma.

Gwenddolyn says, "I wish it was."

You say, "Now, for some time that was the only vision appearing when studying the web of fate... but recently things have begun to move again."

Gridaksma bows his head in acknowledgement.

You take a sip of the brandy.

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

You say, "Let's see, of those, let's start with..."

Valynn dusts herself off.

Shaylynne whispers something to Illiya.

Valynn rearranges the folds of her gossamer cloak.

You say, "My mouth filled with the taste of copper, and the air smelled sweet. I found myself in a bakery, watching a man roll out a mound of gooey dough. As he flattened the dough into a thin sheet, he lifted a cookie-cutter in the shape of... some kind of odd geometric... it was hard to see from there... and began to stamp out identical forms. After a while, the man lifted the excess dough away and threw it aside without so much as a glance. Stretching his arms, the man held his hands apart and summoned a ball of seething purple lightning. The cookies began to caramelize, rising and puffing a bit, and suddenly, the man looked at me, and the vision faded."

Shaylynne leans on Illiya.

Kethrai blinks at you.

Hanryu ponders.

Elurora ponders.

You say, "It's been some time since the last vision starting with a taste of copper. As a reminder, those seem to have been linked to events around Zengmodaleth."

Valynn whispers something to Tirost.

Illiya looks at Shaylynne, obviously trying not to grin, but the dimples in her cheeks give her away.

Hanryu thoughtfully says in an Ilithian accent, "That's a unique baking method..."

Elurora says, "That's a different way to make cookies."

Ophiliah says, "Mmm cookies."

Tirost grins at Valynn.

Elurora nods at Hanryu, obviously agreeing with his views.

Kethrai says, "Perhaps the cookies are a metaphor..."

Karthor grins at Kethrai.

Gwenddolyn says, "Bad tasting cookies."

Gwenddolyn chuckles.

Jaelia says, "I bet if someone could make mind blowing geometric pattern cookies they would win the upcoming Cooking Contest. I think that is the point of this Vision."

You grin at Kethrai.

Shaylynne says, "Liraxes and Firulf are opening a bakery with Krenze's recipes."

Shaylynne nods.

You say, "In this case, at least, I think it probably is a metaphor."

Jaelia nods.

You chuckle.

Tirost chuckles at Jaelia.

Gwenddolyn begins chortling at Jaelia.

Mistanna chuckles at Jaelia.

Gwenddolyn says, "So Jaelia is making cookies for the cooking contest."

Aemaranth whispers something to Elurora.

Elurora chuckles at Aemaranth.

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "The color of that lightning is interesting - its been observed on pylons and that strange spider-elemental that was seen."

Tirost nods to Perune.

Aemaranth grins at Elurora, her dimples flashing into view.

Gwenddolyn asks, "It was purple?"

You say, "The man might be Daervlan, since he seems to have been the most prominent figure associated with the place thus far."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "Part of it was, if I recall the article."

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Well at least cookies seem nicer'n electro-spider-things."

Tirost says, "Not much else to go on. The factory could analagous to a bakery, but I wish the vision granted more insight into the baker."

Perune says to you in an Ilithic accent, "I would wager Lord Daervlan is the only one allowed to tinker in that space."

You say, "The way he tossed away the excess dough strikes me as important, somehow, but I'm not sure exactly why."

Elurora slowly says, "It would be wasteful."

Kethrai asks, "What might the... cookies represent? Delicate creations that require time to be finished?"

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "At least on the level of full creation, but I could be wrong. Uryutis had said he worked with some of the pylons - but we were also told that Lord Daervlan keeps people from various areas."

You say, "Possibly more constructs, like the custodians."

Aemaranth says to Kethrai in a melodic accent, "Us maybe? That also makes me wonder what happened to the rest of the dough."

Valynn says, "It has the feeling of some sort of manipulation. And perhaps creation of items that are all the same, like soldiers."

Tirost nods to you.

Shaylynne nods to Valynn.

Tirost says, "There are several types as I recall. Those commonly found in Zengmodaleth, and a combat type."

Gwenddolyn nods to Valynn.

Aemaranth says to Valynn in a melodic accent, "If we are attacked by Cookie Drakes, I am just gonna follow them with a mug of milk."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "There is also some scrap when making something - it really depends on what the material actually is."

Kethrai says, "So, just to throw it out there, for those who've never made sugar cookies..."

Elurora giggles at Aemaranth.

Valynn asks, "The visions you've add in the past with the Heralds had that same feeling. Like a puppet master of sorts?"

Anuril nods to Perune.

Aemaranth nods politely to Majelaket.

Kethrai says, "Getting rid of the scraps around your cutouts is pretty normal. You might be able to roll it back up and flatten it out and make new cookies a time or two, but eventually it won't cooperate."

Valynn nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Gwenddolyn says, "So whatever they are making them out of."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "When you produce something in bulk, you can tend to get lazy about your scrap material as well."

Gwenddolyn says, "It doesnt seem clear."

Hanryu takes a sip of his brandy.

Shaylynne takes a sip of her coffee.

You say to Gwenddolyn, "The catch phrase of all visions."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "I guess now is a good time to say that in a couple weeks I'll be hosting and investigation at the Muspar'i Guildhall that should tie in to an experiment I wish to attempt in Zengmodaleth."

You grin.

Gwenddolyn chuckles.

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "To push us closer to passing this test of Lord Daervlan's."

Tirost says, "There is plenty of material being processed in Zengmodaleth in the western factory, from the metalic parts to energy distribution."

You nod to Perune.

Tirost smiles at Perune.

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Karthor asks Tirost in a Haakish accent, "Does any of it smell like cookies?"

Tirost chuckles.

Gwenddolyn asks, "And another question, what happened to the machine that Liraxes made?"

Tirost shakes his head at Karthor.

Ophiliah says, "Or cupcakes."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "If you consider what is unique about Muspari's Guildhall, you might be able to determine what I'm getting at."

Kethrai says, "Mostly it's fabric..."

Karthor nods.

Tirost says to Karthor, "I'm afraid not."

Karthor says to Tirost in a Haakish accent, "Ah well, was worth askin'."

Tirost smiles.

Tirost nods to Karthor.

You say to Gwenddolyn, "It seems to have been destroyed as part of whatever the attack it made against the Heralds was."

Gwenddolyn nods.

Shaylynne asks Perune, "What is unique about it?"

Gwenddolyn says, "I wondered if it was or it went back to where Liraxes came from."

Perune says to Shaylynne in an Ilithic accent, "I'll leave you to figure that out."

Perune grins at Shaylynne.

Shaylynne grins.

You say, "That could be the case. I'm not sure if anyone was directly in the vicinity at the time."

Gwenddolyn says, "Or what it could be used for in the future."

Elurora takes a sip of her water.

Elurora leans on Aemaranth.

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "Oh, a question regarding Liraxes for the Moon Mages present."

Perune asks in an Ilithic accent, "What was he a concept of, was it Balance?"

Casari says, "Supposedly."

You say, "That seems to have been the claim, yes."

Karthor nods to Tirost.

Aemaranth whispers something to Elurora.

Casari says, "A servant of the Greater Concept of Balance, or something like that."

Perune asks in an Ilithic accent, "So if Balance has been achieved, what would he be doing now? Or is he a constant Warden over the state of it? Did he exist prior to the problem, or did he come about as a result of it?"

You say, "There was a vision of the cigarillo smoking woman that implied Liraxes has existed in some form previously."

Tirost nods to you.

Kethrai says, "The cigarillo-lady suggested he is an older entity just under a new name."

Majelaket takes a bite of the pike.

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "Oh, fascinating."

Kethrai nods to you.

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "So we know that conceptual beings can become altered in some way."

Tirost says to you, "I wish there were some thread to untangle her identity."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "Beyond that forceful Namings by expert Lunar mages, that is."

You nod at Tirost, in complete agreement with his views.

You say, "Now, the next vision seems to be a continuation of one that we've seen recently. There was a girl playing with a dog, but when a horn sounded she got on its back and it took off. And now..."

You say, "A warm breeze caressed my face, and I breathed deeply, smelling sea salt and distant rain. A horn echoed in the distance, and suddenly a massive dog leapt over a fallen log and raced across my field of view. A small girl was riding atop its back, her body twisted backward as she spun a slingshot in a whirl above her head. She fired the sling with a sharp *CRACK*, and a scream echoed in the distance. A flurry of arrows arced above. The girl shouted something and drew a long dagger, and the dog began to zigzag. The girl sliced an arrow from the sky, and the girl and the dog disappeared into a bank of trees. The vision faded."

You say, "In the previous vision, my thought was that the dog was taking her to safety. She... appears to be more capable than anticipated."

Hanryu says in a montane accent, "Well not your average kid."

Karthor scratches his head.

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Pretty handy with a dagger, yeesh."

Tirost nods to Karthor.

Tirost says, "She has the instincts of a warrior, beyond a doubt."

You nod.

Hanryu asks in a montane accent, "No indication of the force she was attacking other than they had archers?"

You say, "Nothing as far as I can tell, aside from the scent still indicating it's somewhere near a coast."

Hanryu nods.

Aemaranth says in a melodic accent, "It would be so helpful if the visions told us which of the mortal races she is."

Kethrai asks, "Weren't there visions involving the Gorbesh and some strangely childlike beings in combat?"

You ponder.

Avrenka says, "I'm of the opinion that visions of a certain smell are linked together."

Avrenka says, "So this vision of sea salt is tied to other sea salt smelling visions."

Avrenka says, "For example, A warm breeze caressed my face, and I breathed deeply, smelling sea salt and distant rain. I heard laughter nearby -- a small girl wrestling with a massive dog, whose tail wagged excitedly as it playfully nipped at the child. Both were dirty, covered in mud and bits of grass, and grinning widely. The dog picked up a stick and shook it violently. The girl lunged for the stick, and the two began a surprisingly rough game of tug-of-war. The dog pulled the child to the ground and dragged her through a puddle, eliciting shrieks of laughter. The girl rolled over and tackled the dog, landing atop the much larger creature and knocking them both over."

You say, "I think in this case it's the same girl and dog, as well."

Avrenka nods.

Elurora nods to you.

Avrenka says, "No idea what it means though."

Tirost scratches his storm-grey cat.

Aemaranth ponders.

Avrenka says, "Other sea salt smelling visions relate to a boat with a portal to a well kept garden."

Perune stares intently at a storm-grey cat with gold-flecked crystal blue eyes for a moment.

Kethrai says, "Well... That boat and garden vision seemed to be related to the Heralds."

You say to Avrenka, "Links like that are why I've had to find so many different colors of string."

You gesture at a cork board covered in papers and string.

Avrenka says, "And an old woman immolating herself with naphtha."

Tirost raises an eyebrow in Avrenka's direction.

Avrenka says to Tirost, "A vision at an old Hollows Eve..."

Avrenka shrugs.

Tirost nods to Avrenka.

Avrenka says, "Ah, there's more to that girl and dog vision."

Avrenka says, "The dog released the stick and stayed down, panting, its tail flopping against the ground. Suddenly, a horn blew in the distance, and the dog jerked upright."

Avrenka says, "The girl jumped on the dog's back, and scampering to its feet, the dog began to run. The vision faded."

Avrenka asks, "Seems to be a part 2 to that vision, this vision just now, eh?"

Elurora nods to Avrenka.

You say, "Yes, I think that's the most likely interpretation."

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Sure seems like this new one's right what they ran into."

Tirost nods to Karthor.

Kethrai quietly says, "I'm on the girl with the dog's side, just registering that now, in case it becomes important again."

Tirost gives a slight nod.

Kethrai takes a sip of his Expanse.

Karthor grins.

Mistanna chuckles at Kethrai.

Tirost grins at Kethrai.

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Agreed, they seem like a neat team."

Avrenka says, "Perhaps we just need to wait for part 3."

Illiya grins at Kethrai, her dimples flashing into view.

You chuckle.

Gwenddolyn says, "One thought about Liraxes being called someone different a long time ago, that seems to remind of how Grazhir shards are renamed."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "Until you find out they're both zombie things and the people were just trying to put them down with those arrows."

Avrenka chuckles.

Tirost says to Kethrai, "She does seem valiant and skilled. Someone screamed after her sling shot, and her defenses seem superb."

Illiya says to Perune, "An optimist, I see."

Tirost chuckles.

You say, "And on the subject of sensations linking visions together... The next vision is another one of that sort. Though of course it also has visual cues as well that we've seen visions to have in common."

Valynn looks at Illiya, obviously trying not to grin.

You say, "Everything flickered, the fabric of reality rent, and a seething army of razor-edged shadow and choking ash churned the mud as it gathered before a wide battlement. To my left, a warrior beat a drum -- two quick strikes -- and to my right, a soldier blew a horn, one long, echoing note that seemed to hang in the air. A great chain began to lift the portcullis, and a squad of eight figures clad in golden plate strode forward."

You say, "One of the figures looked back, and catching my gaze, grinned slightly. Sliding the visor down over his face, the figure turned to face the approaching army, and the vision faded."

Perune says to Illiya in an Ilithic accent, "Its all fun and games until half your Clan, the children too, are zombies killing the rest of the Clan."

Casari says, "It's important to not become too attached to an opinion such that new information is ignored in its favor."

You say, "Our friends in golden plate have frequently been accompanied by that feeling of flickering, and the fabric of reality rending."

Elurora slowly says, "That does feel a bit like Corik's Wall."

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Ah, those guys again."

You say, "Interestingly, this vision also features a horn being blown... though this army doesn't seem like one to use arrows."

Illiya grins at Perune, her dimples flashing into view.

Aemaranth raises an eyebrow in Elurora's direction.

Valynn gazes at Elurora.

Shaylynne nods to Elurora.

Valynn nods in agreement.

Gwenddolyn nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Tirost says to you, "They also tend to look back at the visionary and grin in spite of the danger."

Hanryu takes a sip of his brandy.

You nod to Tirost.

Avrenka says, "It's interesting imagery, because in previous visions the golden knights would be in a defensive formation .. but here they are opening the porticullis to meet the enemy."

Anuril takes a sip of his cocktail.

Karthor asks in a Haakish accent, "Sacrificial as ever...eight of 'em leavin' their fortification to engage an army, eh?"

You say to Tirost, "Or even in spite of being killed."

Kethrai says, "These eight were facing down an army, not a girl and a dog."

Tirost nods to you.

Tirost asks, "Is there anything to be made of the number eight?"

Shaylynne says, "It's not the Seven."

Shaylynne nods to Tirost.

Tirost laughs!

You say, "There probably is a significance. I'm not sure what it is, though."

Tirost grins at Shaylynne.

Kethrai says to Tirost, "It's one more than seven, which if these represented the first Paladins, would be the more likely count."

Valynn grins at Shaylynne.

Kethrai nods to Shaylynne.

Gwenddolyn says, "There is an eighth now, Sir Beren perhaps."

Elurora shakes her head at Gwenddolyn.

Tirost gazes thoughtfully at Kethrai.

Gwenddolyn says, "If he is truly related to one of the seven."

Gridaksma says, "That wouldn't make any sense as there are others related to them."

Elurora says, "He probably is, but that doesn't make The Seven, eight."

Avrenka asks, "...nine?"

Elurora says, "Not with 200ish years between them."

Gwenddolyn says, "It does in a sense if he has joined them in the fight."

Avrenka says, "Maybe Unaka is the 8th."

Gwenddolyn says, "They could be in a place where they do not age."

Shaylynne ponders.

Tirost says to Avrenka, "She is one to be remembered, certainly."

Valynn quietly says to Avrenka, "That is an interesting theory."

Casari says, "Unaka Muffinbane."

Gridaksma asks, "Why here over any other paladin of renown?"

Tirost laughs!

Gridaksma says, "Her even."

Gwenddolyn says, "Unaka was not related to any of the seven like sir beren."

Tirost says to Casari, "Did have quite the appetite."

Anuril rubs his head.

Anuril asks, "Have you any other visions, court mage?"

You say, "Two more to discuss this evening."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

You say, "I felt myself falling, drifting downward, alone and isolated, murky darkness spreading in all directions. Vague forms writhed in the gloom, little more than movement, circling closer and closer. I heard it: a resonant pulse coming from below and washing over me like an inexorable tide."

You say, "Tha-thump. Tha-thump."

You say, "Each beat pulled me closer, down, down, and scattered whatever was waiting in the distance. I continued to fall, and suddenly, the vision faded."

Gwenddolyn says, "Coastal tide reference again."

You say, "So on the one hand, whatever was down there was pulling me down into darkness. On the other hand, it scared off whatever forms in the darkness where closing in on me."

You say, "Of course, larger predators can scare off smaller ones..."

Shaylynne nods to you.

Kethrai says, "There is always a bigger fish."

Hanryu says, "Despite falling, it didn't seem as though you were that affraid of the landing."

Shaylynne asks, "Whatever became of that pulsing thing that fell in the ocean?"

Anuril says to Shaylynne, "Nothing."

Tirost says to Shaylynne, "Good question."

Kethrai says, "Yet."

Elurora says, "The way it was described felt like a heart beating."

Gwenddolyn says, "That made me think it was related to Grazhir."

You say to Hanryu, "With no points of reference, hard to tell how fast I was falling. It didn't feel like a plummet, though."

Anuril says, "It gives the sensation of being underwater."

Tirost nods to Anuril.

Gwenddolyn nods to Anuril.

Hanryu nods to you.

You nod.

Anuril says, "Drifting, murky darkness."

Kethrai says, "Well, whether it was related to Grazhir before or not, it might be now. The largest piece of Grazhir is supposed to be at the bottom of the sea where the Involuted Passage fell."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "I'm sure its just something wanting to have a word with you in a location where you can't breathe - let us know when you need Air Bubble."

Gwenddolyn says, "Perhaps a shard of Grazhir will be found."

Hanryu chuckles at Perune.

Tirost quietly asks Perune, "Do you actually know the Air Bubble spell?"

You exclaim to Perune, "I carry a lemicule wand on me, just in case of emergencies!"

Hanryu says to Perune in a montane accent, "Like the hunting grounds that open up during Hollow Eve."

Tirost chuckles at you!

Illiya grins at you, her dimples flashing into view.

Gwenddolyn nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "Yes, I travel to too many hostile places. It would be stupid to assume all of them have air for me."

You say, "If it is something in the deep ocean, the Merelew probably will be the best ones to ask about any goings on down there."

Elurora nods to you.

Anuril says, "Perhaps someone is going to retrieve the remains of the passage."

Karthor asks in a Haakish accent, "...Do they have permission fer that?"

Perune says to Anuril in an Ilithic accent, "Perhaps someone should be us."

Karthor ducks his head.

You say to Anuril, "Something should definitely be done about that."

Anuril dryly says, "Put it into a nice gem setting and sell it at Limited Treasures."

Tirost grins at Karthor.

Kethrai says, "Well, luckily Andreshlew should rise again in only a couple months."

Gwenddolyn chuckles at Anuril.

Kethrai says, "So we can ask then."

You nod to Kethrai.

Aemaranth just arrived.

Gwenddolyn says, "I wonder if the Merelew have seen shards of Grazhir down there."

Perune says to Kethrai in an Ilithic accent, "Good idea. We'll ask the masters of water magic if we can get our hands on the alien thing in their realm."

Anuril nods to Perune.

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "They can probably open the way."

Tirost says to Perune, "They have asked for our help in something of that fashion before."

Gwenddolyn says, "There seems to be well documented that they exist."

You say, "And then one final vision to discuss this evening."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Perune says to Tirost in an Ilithic accent, "A number of times, yes. I'm encouraged that they may let us play with the alien devices."

Tirost nods to Perune.

You say, "I found myself sitting in front of a large statue composed of ebony, alabaster, and wood, shaped into the form of a massive scorpion looming over a snarling jackal and an indifferent vulture. Claws, pincers, stinger, and beak dripped with gold, and the statue wavered, the forms merging together and separating. I was overwhelmed, filled with pride and shame, joy and sorrow, hope and despair, ecstasy and agony, and the scorpion's many eyes seemed to focus on me. The vision faded."

Tirost quietly asks Anuril, "Have you ever bought anything from Limited Treasures?"

Anuril raises an eyebrow in Tirost's direction.

Karthor scratches his head.

Elurora asks, "We need to make him a new altar then?"

Elurora flashes a quick grin.

Anuril tugs at the bottom of his damask greatcoat, adjusting the fit.

Avrenka says, "I wonder why the dichotomy of happy and sad emotions."

Gwenddolyn nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Tirost chuckles at Anuril.

Aemaranth says to Elurora in a melodic accent, "He has one, its a bit hard to find. But it exists."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "The light and dark aspects."

Anuril grins at Tirost.

You say, "The ties to the Immortals are obvious, and I think we're all aware of Urrem'tier being empowered by the power taken from the Heralds."

Elurora asks Aemaranth, "A *new* one?"

You say, "But I am curious why something like this is showing now... since it should be indicating something to happen in the future."

Tirost glances at Jaelia.

Aemaranth asks Elurora in a melodic accent, "Are we attempting to garner favor from the Scorpion?"

Aemaranth grins at Elurora, her dimples flashing into view.

Elurora says to Aemaranth, "I just meant the vision seemed like it was implying it."

Aemaranth grins, revealing her dimples.

Gwenddolyn says, "Interesting thoughts indeed."

Kethrai says, "Perhaps Urrem'tier in all his new power is feeling himself."

Casari says, "The consequences of Urrem'tier's ploy may not yet be fully realized."

Anuril smirks.

Hanryu takes a sip of his brandy.

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "If they merged and separated, he might have balanced out the power between the Three forms."

Gwenddolyn says, "I would have to agree with that."

Karthor nods to Casari.

Jaelia says to Tirost, "I will hold Vigils and reach out to the Immortals for guidance. That at least gives me something I feel I can do. Even with Phelim as my Patron, I've given up trying to understand the Visions Moon Mages receive."

Gridaksma says, "Maybe he will misplace his chalice yet again."

You say, "And the gold would seem to indicate all three being empowered."

Tirost nods to Jaelia.

Valynn grins at Jaelia.

Avrenka says, "Empowered ... and may be even overwhelmed, given the overwhelming emotions felt."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "Because the end result of the merge and separation is an overwhelming presence of both the light and dark aspects."

Gwenddolyn says, "The scorpion has gained power, so we should support him."

Aemaranth says to Casari in a melodic accent, "The Scorpion has engaged in thievery before."

Tirost says to Jaelia, "If your vigils grant guidance, and you need my help, I am a thought away, Mother."

Gwenddolyn says, "You cannot have light without darkness."

Jaelia says to Perune, "I mean it might be overwhelming to some. Some of us just exist in it so it seems very normal."

Aemaranth says to Gwenddolyn in a melodic accent, "I know."

Aemaranth smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Perune rubs his neck.

Aemaranth says in a melodic accent, "From out of darkness the brightest light comes. It must become bright enough to shown in the darkness and then it has to shine enough to be noticeable."

Tirost nods to Aemaranth.

Aemaranth says in a melodic accent, "From within the darkness the light is always there, its just covered up to preserve it."

You exclaim, "So yes, perhaps Urrem'tier, Eylhaar, and Aldauth will be doing something with their new power beyond what we've already experienced. I suppose we will see!"

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "I think I need a paper airship."

Anuril nods to you.

Gwenddolyn nods in agreement.

Jaelia nods.

Shaylynne rubs her head.

You ask, "That covers the visions I had to discuss this evening. Are there any other thoughts people wish to share, or other items to bring up?"

Tirost says to Perune, "I'd like to get my hands on Srinoja's."

Jaelia applauds.

Shaylynne says, "So much to think about again."

Shaylynne grins at you.

Perune says to Tirost in an Ilithic accent, "I just want something to throw over everyone's heads."

Aemaranth whispers something to Elurora.

Avrenka says, "A sudden though occurred to me."

Tirost laughs!

Jaelia grins at Avrenka.

Avrenka says, "Do yall think we live in the most interesting of times? Or are we simply a speck in a vast sea of time."

Gwenddolyn says, "If something is to come to the wall, I would not exactly support opening the portcullis at Corik/s wall to greet it."

Anuril laughs!

Valynn ponders.

Kethrai says, "I certainly hope the most interesting times in our lifetime at least are already behind us."

Gwenddolyn asks, "What reasoning would it be to open it?"

Tirost says to Avrenka, "Both, I imagine. I don't think our times could be described as boring."

Jaelia says to Avrenka, "Both are true at the same time you need to find the balance between those truths."

Tirost smiles at Jaelia.

Kethrai says, "I can't imagine what a more interesting future would look like."

Aemaranth asks in a melodic accent, "Why not open it?"

Gwenddolyn says, "To keep them from invading shard."

Aemaranth says in a melodic accent, "We know there are some who will clamor for such."

Karthor says to Kethrai in a Haakish accent, "Electric cookies, apparently. Purple ones."

Gwenddolyn says, "The idea is to keep them in the dark hand."

Tirost says to you, "Thank you for sharing your visions, Miskton."

Tirost bows to you.

Avrenka says, "Perhaps our life and death struggle with the Heralds was merely another dotted i in the long annals of history."

Casari says, "On other topics, for those interested in joining or accompanying the Mountain Guard. The Commander will not be available for the patrol after the next town hall, but either the Lieutenant or I will still carry on as scheduled and welcome anyone in good standing to join us."

Avrenka shrugs.

Jaelia beams at Casari!

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "Still disappointed that Urrem'tier gulped up the bodies and left no scraps for the rest of us."

Perune shakes his head.

Avrenka nods to Perune.

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "Sad."

Avrenka says to Perune, "Would've been interesting to analyze the remains, perform some experiments..."

Gwenddolyn says, "And next month Penderrin will be walking wall patrol with the Emerald Knights."

Illiya nods to Casari.

Kethrai asks Casari, "Should anyone not in good standing attempt to join, what is to be done about that?"

Gwenddolyn waves.

Jaelia beams at Gwenddolyn!

Casari says to Kethrai, "Fire."

Avrenka says, "At least do some tests on that Heraldric dagger artifact.."

Kethrai nods to Casari.

Shaylynne grins at Casari.

Avrenka grins at Valynn.

Anuril grins at Casari.

Valynn winks at Avrenka.

You say, "Oh, and I'll be announcing this again at the next town hall, though it will be somewhat short notice at that point. In the very near future, I'm going to be hosting a cooking contest celebrating all aspects of Ilithian cuisine."

Kethrai says, "So noted."

Jaelia looks at you and lets out a hearty cheer on your behalf!

Illiya beams at you! What a warm feeling!

Jaelia exclaims, "Geometric cookies!"

Perune says to Avrenka in an Ilithic accent, "Anything that gorges on clean spell energy in that manner would've had bone that would be amazing for artificing."

Illiya exclaims, "Cookie bake-off?!"

Hanryu grins.

Valynn grins at you.

Tirost smiles at you.

Anuril looks at you, praising you and supporting you with his approval.

Illiya says, "On other other topics, I hope everyone had the chance to read Miskton's piece in this month's Berries & Ink."

Jaelia exclaims to Illiya, "I may enter just to make geometric cookies!"

Elurora nods to Illiya.

Majelaket nods politely to Aemaranth.

You say, "Cookies are an option! Dishes should just be tied into cuisine from somewhere in Ilithi in some way."

Illiya nods at Jaelia, obviously agreeing with her views.

Valynn nods to Illiya.

Valynn praises you.

Raising her black coffee to you, Illiya gives you a toast. Cheers!

Aemaranth nods to Illiya.

Valynn says, "I rather liked it."

Valynn nods to you.

Illiya asks Valynn, "It was very thoughtfully written, wasn't it?"

Valynn nods to Illiya.

Valynn says to Illiya, "Thoughtful indeed."

Valynn smiles.

Hanryu stretches his arms.

Valynn hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return.

Valynn hugs Elurora, getting a smile in return.

Illiya hugs Valynn, getting a smile in return.

Hanryu says in an alpine accent, "Welp I'ma get out of town. Safe paths everyone."

Jaelia laughs!

Valynn hugs Tirost, who wraps his arms around Valynn with a warm smile.

Elurora hugs Valynn, getting a smile in return.

Illiya waves to Hanryu.

Valynn hugs Hanryu, who wraps his arms around Valynn with a warm smile.

Kethrai asks Anuril, "Back north?"

Hanryu waves.

Tirost hugs Valynn, getting a smile in return.

Shaylynne waves to Hanryu.

Avrenka waves to Hanryu.

Elurora hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return.

Jaelia asks Valynn, "Are you running into the Wilds already?"

Jaelia grins.

Tirost says, "Farewell."

Elurora pulls Gridaksma to her in a tight hug.

Illiya says, "Rangers are always the first to run off."

Perune says in an Ilithic accent, "Yes, evening calls."

Jaelia hugs Aemaranth, who wraps her arms around Jaelia with a warm smile.

Elurora gives a slight curtsy, barely worth the effort.

Shaylynne paces back and forth.

Jaelia beams at Tirost!

Illiya glances at Shaylynne.

Valynn says to Shaylynne, "Thank you the instruction."

Jaelia hugs Tirost, who wraps his arms around Jaelia with a warm smile.

Perune raises his hand in a quick salute.

Elurora hugs Shaylynne, getting a smile in return.

Shaylynne says, "It's uncomfortable in here."

Gridaksma hugs Elurora, who wraps her arms around Gridaksma with a warm smile.

Tirost hugs Jaelia, getting a smile in return.

You say, "And if anyone is interested in attending but doesn't plan to compete, I could still use some judges. Just need to be prepared to rank the dishes on taste, presentation, and how the chef ties them to Ilithi in some way."

Shaylynne grins at Illiya.

Valynn grins.

Shaylynne hugs Elurora, getting a smile in return.

Anuril nods to Kethrai.

Tirost hugs Shaylynne, getting a smile in return.

Anuril raises two fingers to his brow in a quick hand salute.

Kethrai says, "Safe paths, all."

Anuril bows to you.

You carefully mark your place and close your astronomer's journal, securing the clasp.
