You say, "Okay, I think we can probably get started! Thank you all for joining me here this evening."

Raising her iced strawberry lemonade to you, Betlind gives you a toast. Cheers!

Illiya looks at you and lets out a hearty cheer on your behalf!

Illiya hugs Aerilia, who wraps her arms around Illiya with a warm smile.

You say, "For the new arrivals, help yourselves to refreshments on the bar."

Kethrai leans back against Anuril with a loving smile.

Aemaranth pulls Elurora to her in a tight hug.

Illiya says, "Ooh nice bar."

Umptiskrunk messily gobbles down a lotus petal-patterned pastry stuffed with nomlas and Therengian river rice.

Imroth says to you, "Thank you again."

Umptiskrunk licks the tips of his fingers.

Gwenddolyn takes a sip of her water.

Betlind hugs Aemaranth, who wraps her arms around Betlind with a warm smile.

Aerilia ponders.

Aemaranth hugs Elurora, who wraps her arms around Aemaranth with a warm smile.

Betlind beams at Aemaranth!

Aemaranth exclaims to Elurora in a melodic accent, "Thank you!"

Aemaranth hugs Betlind, getting a smile in return.

Elurora smiles at Aemaranth.

Imroth says, "Grey Expanse."

Elurora nods to Aemaranth.

Hanryu leans against some sturdy bookcases packed with reference material.

Aerilia takes a sip of her water.

Valynn waves to Aemaranth.

Imroth waggles his fingers at a frosted cocktail glass of Grey Expanse on top of a large curving diamondwood bar. Nothing happens, as far as you can tell.

Valynn grins at Hanryu.

Aemaranth waves to Valynn.

Hanryu clasps Valynn's hand and rests his other hand upon Valynn's shoulder.

Kystrk says, "No better way to lose yourself in oblivion."

Kystrk takes a sip of his Expanse.

You say, "There's a number of visions to discuss tonight, but several of them seem to have some relation to the Heralds and the Immortals, so perhaps we'll start there."

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Valynn gazes at a full-grown wolf.

Imroth nods to Kystrk.

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Valynn grins at a full-grown wolf.

Betlind nods to you.

Elurora gazes thoughtfully at you.

Valynn nods to a full-grown wolf.

A full-grown wolf paws at the ground.

Illiya dimples at you.

Gwenddolyn shifts her weight.

Valynn quietly says to Hanryu, "Talkative that one."

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Valynn glances at a full-grown wolf.

Hanryu pets his full-grown wolf.

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "I'm more impressed that there's some what don't."

A full-grown wolf looks around suspiciously.

Karthor scratches his head.

Illiya grins at Karthor, her dimples flashing into view.

Kethrai nods at Karthor, obviously agreeing with his views.

You say, "Well, perhaps not the Heralds directly, but by way of Asildu, and the artifacts he has mentioned."

Ryeka nods to you.

You say, "I found myself tending a potted plant, its soil dry and cracked, its leaves brown and shriveled. I poured some water into the parched root bed, but the water simply drained out the bottom of the pot, pooling on the floor. The plant continued to shrivel, shedding its last leaves and withdrawing into itself. Exasperated, I fussed with the plant, but was further dismayed as the main stalk broke and scattered to dust. I sighed and yanked the stem out of the dirt, throwing the dead plant to the ground. Something caught my eye in the soil, and I brushed aside the dirt. My fingertips grazed something soft but solid, and I made out a face with pockmarked cheeks and a crooked nose buried in the soil. The dirt shifted, and a jade eye opened, staring at me. The vision faded."

Imroth narrows his eyes.

Hanryu whispers something to Valynn.

Hanryu grins at Valynn.

Saviano takes a sip of his wine.

Valynn snickers at Hanryu.

Elurora blinks.

Elurora says, "Creepy."

Elurora takes a bite of the pastry.

Betlind nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Ryeka blinks.

Betlind cocks her head.

Kethrai quirks one ear sideways in confusion.

Aerilia furrows her brow.

Ryeka nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Imroth frowns.

You say, "It does seem like a reasonable approximation of Asildu's current appearance, from what I've heard."

Betlind nods.

Gwenddolyn nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Elurora asks, "Does he have jade eyes?"

Imroth says, "I only remember his moss face."

Karthor scratches his head.

Valynn says, "I believe so."

You say, "I believe he does, yes."

Umptiskrunk takes a sip of his cocktail.

Vaddon smiles.

Elurora gives a slight nod.

Valynn grins at Vaddon.

Hanryu hails Vaddon with a clenched fist over his heart and a respectful nod.

Hanryu studies the faces around him.

Valynn looks at you and jots down some notes.

Elurora quietly says to Imroth, "That's my problem too."

Vaddon smiles.

Ryeka says, "I looked at him the last time I saw him- and he was still Herald-scarred. But I think he is tryint to heal."

Aemaranth says to Elurora in a melodic accent, "I don't think I ever looked at him that much."

Imroth grins at Elurora.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Do you think the heralds plant seeds and grow creatures like Asildu?"

Imroth says, "I remember he had weird skin stuff."

Zalinyar bats her eyes at Vaddon.

Imroth says, "Even before he went all creature-of-the-forest."

Casari says to Gwenddolyn, "In a way."

Gwenddolyn nods to Imroth.

Aerilia ponders.

Kethrai holds up his hand and tilts it side to side in a so-so gesture.

Kethrai says, "Miraena had similar skin and she never turned into a plant-person."

Imroth nods to Kethrai.

You say, "Although I felt some frustration with the plant in the vision, it dying seems like it might be a good sign, if his goal is to break away from the Heralds. At least, since he still appears to be alive once it is removed and the dirt brushed away."

Umptiskrunk beams at Mistanna!

Betlind nods.

Aemaranth's ears flip forward for a moment.

Ryeka ponders.

Imroth says, "The plant is probably representing the Heralds grip on him. Not so metaphorically."

Mistanna flashes a quick grin at Umptiskrunk.

Betlind says, "Or, that is, whatever it was taking root inside of him is finally dying away."

Gwenddolyn says, "Maybe he is really a gnome under all those roots."

Betlind nods to Imroth.

Kethrai asks you, "So do you feel like that vision is coming from the perspective of the Heralds?"

Illiya taps an indurium phoenix with eyes of canary diamond that she is holding.

Ryeka says, "Maybe."

You stroke your beard in thoughtful contemplation.

You say, "That is a possibility, yes."

Aemaranth leans on Elurora.

Elurora rubs Aemaranth's back.

Casari says, "That would be something, but he was human when I met him."

Imroth says, "Hope he stays in the ground."

Elurora nods at Casari, obviously agreeing with her views.

Elurora gazes thoughtfully at Imroth.

Valynn glances at Imroth.

Saviano says in a roughspoken accent, "Guy seems quite literally at the root of the problem."

Imroth takes a sip of his Expanse.

Illiya winces.

Karthor grins.

Imroth points at Saviano.

Imroth nods in agreement.

Betlind chortles softly at some secret joke.

Aemaranth asks Imroth in a melodic accent, "You still want to see him die?"

You say, "The next vision also seems to be related, as it's very similar to the vision seen before the previous artifact was discovered."

Imroth nods to Aemaranth.

Saviano takes a sip of his wine.

Imroth asks, "Yes, why would I change that opinion?"

Betlind takes a sip of her lemonade.

You say, "Before me was a short plinth topped with a shallow bowl. I peered into the bowl and saw six dice, each with a different number of faces. I inspected each and discovered no numbers or pips, but rather various symbols -- a crown, a heart, a leaf, a skull, a thundercloud, a cup, an open book, a knife, a fire, a crescent moon, and several others. I was unfamiliar with the meaning of the dice or their symbols."

Aemaranth asks Imroth in a melodic accent, "Why?"

You say, "Compulsively, I picked up the six dice and threw them into the bowl. Each landed crown-side-up and, after a moment, melted into the bottom of the bowl. The vision faded."

Elurora chews on her lip, looking deep in concentration.

You say, "Very similar to the previous vision, though in that case the dice all showed a knife."

Imroth says, "Because of his destruction of the province of Zoluren."

Ryeka ponders.

Gwenddolyn nods.

Valynn leans forward and rests her chin in her hand, a thoughtful expression on her face.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Did you find the crown yet?"

Betlind asks, "Well, we got our next artifact identified then... Time to ask Asildu if such jogs any memories for him?"

Saviano says in a roughspoken accent, "Someone is playing with weighted dice...cheating."

Aemaranth asks Imroth in a melodic accent, "And how is that justice?"

You say, "I was not there for the recovery of the last artifact, but it's my understanding that it was a knife of some sort."

Casari nods to Betlind.

Elurora nods to Betlind.

Casari says to you, "It was."

Imroth fixes Saviano with a sharp, wolfish stare.

Gwenddolyn says, "So the crown is next."

Valynn nods to you.

Gwenddolyn says, "Wonder who lost their crown."

Imroth says to Saviano, "If you don't think punishment is justice then we don't need a conversation."

Valynn says, "Or maybe in the future, not necessarily next."

Elurora nods to Valynn.

Betlind nods to Valynn.

Imroth says, "Sorry."

Casari asks Imroth, "And have you been punished for unleashing drakes upon the Crossing yet?"

Imroth says, "That was to Aemaranth."

Gwenddolyn says, "It seems likely that crown artifact would be found in throne city, since that was the end of the empire."

Kethrai says, "It doesn't need to be the crown of anyone living right now. I get the sense that these artifacts are ancient."

Imroth clears his throat.

Illiya takes a sip of her wine.

Saviano says to Imroth in a roughspoken accent, "I dont know much about the goings on...but dice is supposed to be a game of chance."

Aerilia closes her eyes for a moment and grows still.

Elurora nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Ryeka ponders.

Betlind nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Umptiskrunk nods to Saviano.

Aemaranth says to Imroth in a melodic accent, "Punishment isn't always justice."

Valynn nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Imroth glances at Casari.

Anuril praises Casari.

Imroth says, "I never called for a drake attack."

Gwenddolyn says, "A crown lost long ago would refer to the empire of the 7-pointed star based in throne city."

Illiya says, "The other artifacts were created specifically by the Heralds."

Kethrai holds up his hand and tilts it side to side in a so-so gesture.

Imroth says, "I never called for the prisoners to be killed."

Elurora nods to Illiya.

Betlind nods to Illiya.

Casari says, "I thought Paladins were supposed to be forthright and honest."

Imroth says, "I never called for the death of an entire town because people didn't agree with my views."

Valynn asks, "Apologies, might we have one conversation to focus on?"

Betlind says to Illiya, "Was my thought too. I doubt any mortal would be able to wear such a thing without immediate and dire consequences."

Imroth scoffs.

Imroth says, "Yes, let's focus on visions."

Casari laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.

Gwenddolyn says, "I am trying."

Valynn quietly says to Imroth, "Thank you."

Kethrai says to Gwenddolyn, "The Empire of the Seven-Pointed Star is, uh... Very old, but not the most ancient civilization that we know of."

Illiya nods at Betlind, obviously agreeing with her views.

Aemaranth says to Imroth something in Rakash.

Kethrai says, "Never mind civilizations we don't know of."

Saviano takes a sip of his wine.

Ryeka nods to Kethrai.

Karthor nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Ezerak nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Imroth says to Aemaranth, "You may speak to me after."

You say, "Unfortunately, knowing something of the nature of the next artifact doesn't necessarily help with finding it. But might spark some thought of potential dangers it might pose."

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Aye, we've been dealin' with somewhat preposterous time scales in all this. The empire's relatively young, really."

Kethrai nods at Karthor, obviously agreeing with his views.

You say, "I would recommend not putting on the crown once found, for instance."

You grin wryly.

Elurora flashes a wide grin at you.

Casari nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.

Betlind grins at you, her dimples flashing into view.

Mistanna nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.

Aemaranth nods politely to Imroth.

Gwenddolyn says, "But the other ones did not pass the crown to different races like the empire did, in the end it was their downfall as they began to argue about who was worthy to wear the crown."

Elurora wraps her arm around Aemaranth's shoulder in a friendly hug.

Zalinyar grins, revealing her dimples.

Umptiskrunk chants a few words in a low voice.

A pair of sparkling blue-white dice cascading with light appear in his hands.

He tosses them down and the dice come up as a three and a four.

The dice remain briefly, then flicker out of existence.

Valynn grins at you.

Kethrai quirks one ear sideways in confusion.

Gwenddolyn says, "That seems significant."

Elurora looks at Betlind, obviously trying not to grin.

Mistanna glances outside a moment.

Betlind giggles at Elurora.

Kethrai says, "But all we know of this vision is that it's a crown, not that it passed to different races, or led to the downfall of its civilization."

Umptiskrunk softly says to himself, "Seven is good number. Good job, Ump."

Umptiskrunk nods.

Aemaranth says to Elurora in a melodic accent, "I don't need a crown that bad to go around putting on random crowns! I would have no way to know what responsibilities go with that crown."

Aemaranth's ears wiggle with joy.

Elurora says, "I think the best is do as Miss Betlind suggested and bring it to Aslidu and see if it jogs a memory."

Gwenddolyn says, "It is the most noteworthy story in past history about a lost crown."

Illiya rubs her head.

Betlind nods.

Betlind smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Illiya says, "Asildu, to my recollection, cannot be near the artifacts."

Illiya says, "We had to destroy them where we found them."

Elurora says, "Sorry, I didn't mean the crown, the vision."

Elurora grins at Illiya.

Casari says, "I think the idea is to bring the mention of a crown to him, to see if he remembers it."

Betlind says, "Oh,er, the idea that it could be a crown, I think."

Elurora nods to Casari.

Betlind nods.

Illiya says, "Oh, right."

Betlind points at Elurora.

Betlind says, "That."

Illiya grins at Elurora, her dimples flashing into view.

Illiya says to Elurora, "That makes more sense."

You say, "Jogging his memory does seem like a good step to take from here."

Betlind giggles at Illiya.

Imroth says, "Doing errands for the mass murderer..."

Aemaranth smirks.

Gwenddolyn says, "The last ruler of the empire was beaten by Lord Tiero."

Ryeka rubs her nose.

Kethrai says, "I think Lord Teiro would have maintained that he was the last ruler of the Empire..."

Aemaranth whispers something to Elurora.

Betlind rubs her nose.

Elurora grins at Kethrai.

Majelaket glances at Kethrai.

Ayrell softly says, "I am inclined to agree with the statements that these artifacts pre-date the Empire by... a significant span of time."

Betlind nods.

Elurora glances at Betlind.

Elurora leans on Betlind.

Illiya smiles at Ayrell, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Betlind hums to herself.

Betlind leans on Elurora.

Gwenddolyn says, "No Morganae's son would make more sense since he ruled 8 times in a row every seven years and is still alive."

Ayrell gazes off into the distance.

Elurora looks at Betlind, obviously trying not to grin.

You say, "The next vision also seems likely to be related to ongoing events, but coming from the side of the Immortals, instead."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Elurora tilts her head, clearly curious about something.

Aerilia tilts her head to one side.

You say, "Surrounded by darkness, I wandered in featureless gloom. The sound of my footsteps was swallowed without echo, and I could hear nothing, feel nothing. I wandered, lacking any sense of direction or time."

Umptiskrunk observes you with fascination.

Ayrell smiles at Aemaranth.

Ezerak nods at Ayrell, obviously agreeing with her views.

Ryeka blinks.

You say, "After an eternity -- or maybe only moments -- I heard a loud sound behind me. Whirling around, I found myself face-to-face with a massive ox. The creature shone with a golden light, and its wide, thick horns were set with a constellation of candles and strung with silver ribbons. The beast snorted, causing the candle flames to flicker and drip wax, and the ribbons to sway gently. For a long moment, it stared at me impassively before turning to one side and slowly walking away. I watched for a moment, and it stopped and turned its massive head, leaving a mesmerizing arc of flames and ribbon. The ox watched me with one beckoning eye, and I felt compelled to follow. The vision faded."

Gwenddolyn says, "Ahh truffenyi."

Aerilia smiles.

Ryeka nods.

Betlind ponders.

You nod.

Ryeka says, "I thought we would hear from him again."

You say, "Yes, it would seem that Truffenyi will be providing some guidance."

Kethrai ponders.

Imroth nods.

Saviano takes a sip of his wine.

Kethrai quietly says, "Candle flames..."

Betlind shoves futilely at Elurora.

Elurora chortles softly at some secret joke.

Ryeka asks, "Tamsine?"

Ryeka ponders.

Imroth says, "Intersting it was a constellation of candles."

Aerilia says, "Or something to do with the stars, maybe? Points of light and lines drawn between them."

Ryeka nods in agreement.

Umptiskrunk says, "Ump think this Ox look stronger than before. Is powerful figure."

Gwenddolyn asks, "In the shape of an ox?"

You say, "Yes, the way the candle flames struck me did raise the idea of Truffenyi being involved in returning the rest of the stars, somehow."

Karthor says to Umptiskrunk in a Haakish accent, "Moreso'n when it was gettin' battered by a dragon, to be sure."

Imroth says, "I would guess they are making their own star power to make up for what the Heralds have taken."

Umptiskrunk nods to Karthor.

Kethrai nods to you.

Aerilia nods to you.

Gwenddolyn says, "Interesting."

Ryeka nods in agreement.

Imroth takes a sip of his Expanse.

Imroth says, "This is very nice."

Kethrai says to you, "That feels like the most straightforward read of it, but... hm. It's not the only time I've seen candle flames associated with the Immortals."

Ryeka nods to Kethrai.

You ask Kethrai, "Something in particular that comes to mind?"

Elurora grins at Betlind.

Kethrai brushes one ear with his hand, grooming it absentmindedly.

Betlind leans on Elurora.

Kethrai says to you, "For later, perhaps."

Elurora leans over and scratches Betlind's back.

You nod.

You say, "There are two more visions to discuss, which seem like they might be on other subjects."

You ask, "Hmm... Let's go with the mostly pleasant one first, perhaps?"

Umptiskrunk chuckles.

Vaddon nods.

Ryeka chuckles.

Hanryu searches around for a moment.

Betlind asks, "That mean we'll be ending on a not so pleasant one?"

You say, "A warm breeze caressed my face, and I breathed deeply, smelling sea salt and distant rain. I heard laughter nearby -- a small girl wrestling with a massive dog, whose tail wagged excitedly as it playfully nipped at the child. Both were dirty, covered in mud and bits of grass, and grinning widely. The dog picked up a stick and shook it violently. The girl lunged for the stick, and the two began a surprisingly rough game of tug-of-war. The dog pulled the child to the ground and dragged her through a puddle, eliciting shrieks of laughter. The girl rolled over and tackled the dog, landing atop the much larger creature and knocking them both over."

Betlind ducks her head.

Gwenddolyn says, "And leave worried."

Gwenddolyn nods to Betlind.

You exclaim, ""Got you!" she exclaimed, "My stick!"

You say, "The dog released the stick and stayed down, panting, its tail flopping against the ground. Suddenly, a horn blew in the distance, and the dog jerked upright."

You say, "The girl jumped on the dog's back, and scampering to its feet, the dog began to run. The vision faded."

Ryeka ponders.

Betlind blinks.

Aerilia ponders.

Vaddon ponders.

Mistanna tilts her head to one side.

Karthor scratches his head.

Kethrai ponders.

Umptiskrunk says, "Must've been a Gnome. Ump not able to ride dogs."

Elurora grins at Umptiskrunk.

Ryeka grins at Umptiskrunk, her dimples flashing into view.

Betlind giggles.

Aemaranth says in a melodic accent, "Or a really big dog."

Zalinyar says, "Huh."

Valynn rubs her temple with the feathery end of her feather quill, apparently deep in thought.

Betlind asks Umptiskrunk, "Not even as a young 'Tog?"

Gwenddolyn says, "Battle horn."

Imroth asks, "Ridable dog?"

Umptiskrunk says to Betlind, "Newp."

Betlind says, "Oh my."

Zalinyar grins at Vaddon, her dimples flashing into view.

You say, "I'm not sure what to make of that one. The dog could represent some other sort of guardian, but it also seemed straightforward enough to be something actually happening."

Kethrai says, "As Miskton described it, this was a massive dog. Probably larger than a dog would normally be."

Gwenddolyn stands near Zalinyar.

Betlind nods to Kethrai.

Ryeka nods to Kethrai.

Zalinyar smiles at Gwenddolyn, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Aerilia asks, "And the girl was small. Maybe a child?"

You say, "Yes, it seemed to be a fairly young girl, and a very large breed of dog."

Illiya says, "The last time we saw dogs it was before puppies in Duskruin. But that wouldn't be the case here."

Aemaranth says in a melodic accent, "The animal was her protector."

Aemaranth says in a melodic accent, "Or is."

You nod to Aemaranth.

Ryeka ponders.

Elurora quietly says, "Paladin dog."

Betlind nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Imroth glances at Elurora.

Aerilia takes a sip of her water.

Kethrai asks you, "Would you be able to tell the difference on sight between a dog and a rimewolf?"

Betlind says, "Just... don't try to ride us into battle, please."

Kethrai asks, "If it were to represent Misiumos, say?"

You ponder.

Elurora chuckles at Betlind.

Casari grins at Betlind.

Illiya looks at Betlind and coughs.

Zalinyar grins at Betlind, her dimples flashing into view.

Betlind babbles something incoherent at Illiya.

Aemaranth asks Betlind in a melodic accent, "What is the fun in that?"

You say, "I'm not sure. Some very large dogs can certainly be wolf-like."

Imroth chortles softly at some secret joke.

Betlind grins at Aemaranth, her dimples flashing into view.

Aemaranth winks at Betlind.

Ryeka nods to you.

Vaddon says, "The scene reminded me of the girl and dog in Shadow's Reach."

Illiya glances at a full-grown wolf.

Umptiskrunk ponders.

Imroth's ears flip forward for a moment.

Ryeka says, "I saw a few wolf-like dogs in Horse Clan."

Kethrai says, "Warm would suggest it isn't Albaria, I guess."

Valynn peers quizzically at Vaddon.

Zalinyar gently kisses Vaddon on the cheek.

Kethrai angles his ears forward, gazing curiously at Vaddon.

Vaddon says, "There is a orphan girl mud splattered and dog up in Shadow's Reach."

Zalinyar nods to Vaddon.

You stroke your beard in thoughtful contemplation.

Ryeka nods to Vaddon.

Vaddon says, "She's always out playing."

Aerilia ponders.

You say, "That does seem the sort of place where they'd have dogs trained for protection."

Vaddon nods to you.

Valynn asks, "Do you know her story?"

Umptiskrunk nods in agreement.

Aerilia nods in agreement.

Imroth says to Elurora, "Thought you were takin' a dig at me there."

Vaddon shakes his head.

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Hm, perhaps a warnin' that somethin' is goin' to happen in that area then, whatwith the horn."

Betlind ponders.

Kethrai says to you, "And a place where you'd hear a horn if it was an alarm."

Elurora shakes her head at Imroth.

Betlind asks, "Gorbesh battle horn then?"

Vaddon says, "I've tried to get know folks there, but they are tight lipped to outsiders."

Kethrai nods to Karthor.

Valynn nods to Kethrai.

Zalinyar nods to Karthor.

Casari says, "Well, if a horn's going to be blowing at the Wall, then that's concerning."

Ryeka nods to Vaddon.

Betlind says, "Oh, right, right."

Elurora says to Imroth something in conversational Rakash.

Imroth nods to Elurora.

Valynn nods at Casari, obviously agreeing with her views.

You nod at Casari, in complete agreement with her views.

Valynn praises Vaddon.

Illiya asks you, "There was another vision about a large dog shortly before Duskruin, do you remember?"

Valynn asks, "That rather changes the vision a bit then, eh?"

Vaddon says, "Not sure what to make of it all."

Aemaranth says to Imroth in a melodic accent, "She would never insult someone that way."

Imroth says to Elurora something in Rakash.

You nod to Illiya.

Elurora smiles at Imroth.

Illiya asks you, "Do you think they are related at all?"

Gwenddolyn nods at Vaddon, obviously agreeing with his views.

You say, "That one seemed a bit stranger, seeming to have a bit of a loop going on. It could be related, but I'm having trouble drawing the connection between them with what we have currently."

Betlind cocks her head.

Valynn nods to a full-grown wolf.

Vaddon smiles at Gwenddolyn.

Elurora quietly says to Ayrell, "It might not hurt to add the Wall back into our patrols if you feel we have the time."

Betlind says, "Oh, that's a great idea."

Kethrai says, "So... The fact that it's warm in the vision would generally rule out Shadow's Reach too, unless it's a clue that the event will happen in the summer."

Gwenddolyn nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Vaddon nods to Kethrai.

Vaddon says, "Good point."

Aerilia ponders.

Ayrell nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Karthor asks in a Haakish accent, "Didn't ya say it smelled like the sea, too?"

Karthor scratches his head.

Betlind says, "Mm, true. But extra patrols still wouldn't hurt either."

Betlind ducks her head.

Aerilia nods to Karthor.

Elurora says to Karthor, "Good point, I'd forgotten that detail."

Elurora grins at Karthor.

You say, "Ah, yes, it did seem to be somewhere not too far from the sea."

Ezerak nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Vaddon says, "The Emerald Knights are meeting in a few days. Maybe they will have more to report of anything unusally going on."

Ryeka says, "I've noticed the islands tend to be warm."

Ryeka ponders.

Kethrai nods to Ryeka.

Gwenddolyn says, "It would be interesting to find out that the children are trained in battle with large dogs to ride."

Betlind begins chortling at Gwenddolyn.

Elurora chuckles.

Zalinyar grins at Gwenddolyn, her dimples flashing into view.

Betlind says, "That'd be, er... quite a culture."

Gwenddolyn nods to Vaddon.

Kethrai says, "Warm, rainy, and near the sea would make me think of Qi'Reshalia. Ratha, maybe."

Betlind rubs her nose.

Ryeka nods to Kethrai.

Zalinyar leans back against Vaddon with a loving smile.

Elizzibiana says in an archaic accent, "Aesry lighthouse."

Gwenddolyn says, "Please check on that girl and her dog again Vaddon and include that in your report."

Ryeka says, "Or Merkresh."

Ryeka nods.

Vaddon says, "I shall."

Kethrai looks thoughtfully at Valynn.

Elizzibiana says in an archaic accent, "As I recall Aesry has that lighthouse."

Ryeka nods to Elizzibiana.

You say, "And then the final vision I have to discuss this evening..."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Kethrai quietly says, "Do a girl and a dog live in the lighthouse..."

Ryeka opens her leather-bound journal.

You say, "I stumbled as my foot fell through the ground. Blinking in surprise, I found myself in an immense salt basin, distant mountains shimmering in the heat, a cloudless blue sky bearing down upon me. The ground fractured beneath me like thin ice, the salt shattering into crumbling-but-sharp fragments that scraped my ankles and calves, sending swirling clouds of stinging salt whipping around me. A harsh wind clawed at my eyes, dry as bone and furnace-hot. My lips began to crack, and I tried to shield my eyes. I fell to my knees, cutting myself on the stinging salt, my blood soaking into the porous surface. I felt my shoulders and back begin to burn."

Ryeka blinks.

You say, "The sun exploded, rippling with color and whorls of crackling energy, and rumbling clouds began to gather in the sky. The first drops of rain were a relief. I looked up to see a churning wave crashing toward me. The vision faded."

Elurora glances at Betlind.

Betlind leans on Elurora.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Muspari?"

Ryeka blinks.

Ryeka frowns.

Elurora flashes a quick grin at Betlind.

Ryeka says, "Muspar'i does have salt flats."

Aerilia furrows her brow.

Elurora chuckles at Betlind.

Elizzibiana says in an archaic accent, "Very rare for rain in Muspar'i though."

You say, "Could be some area up in Velaka, yes."

Gwenddolyn asks, "What does?"

Zalinyar says, "That's ominous."

Ryeka nods.

Aerilia says, "The exploding sun is a bit concerning."

A full-grown wolf howls for no reason.

Imroth says something in Rakash.

Zalinyar says, "Or tidal wave."

Kethrai nods to Aerilia.

Ryeka jots down some notes.

Elizzibiana nods to Aerilia.

Ryeka nods in agreement.

Kethrai says, "Rare for the sun to explode in Muspar'i, too."

Karthor grins.

Betlind giggles at Kethrai.

Aerilia grins.

Zalinyar nods to Kethrai.

Anuril cackles!

Elizzibiana chuckles.

Anuril coughs.

Elurora glances at Kethrai.

Imroth says, "Too much salt."

Zalinyar says, "Or anywhere."

Gwenddolyn says, "Poor wolf is howling because he wants more info about the big dog."

Gwenddolyn grins at Hanryu, her dimples flashing into view.

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Hanryu chuckles.

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Seems a bit like the salt was from the sea bein' gone, an' then it suddenly came rushin' back or somesuch."

Gwenddolyn nods at Karthor, obviously agreeing with his views.

Hanryu says to Gwenddolyn in a montane accent, "Or wants that cat to leave her alone."

Ezerak says to Kethrai, "So long as it stays in Muspari."

Gwenddolyn says, "That makes sense."

Aerilia takes a sip of her water.

Elurora chews on her lip, looking deep in concentration.

Valynn takes a sip of her Expanse.

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

You say, "The only non-ominous possibilty I can think of from that vision is some development happening with the Gam Irnam spell."

Zalinyar says, "An exploding sun would cause a big wave."

Elizzibiana nods to you.

Gwenddolyn asks, "What spell is that?"

Illiya says to you, "That could be interesting."

Elizzibiana says in an archaic accent, "Our salt spell."

You say, "A warrior mage spell that uses salt defensively."

Elizzibiana gestures.

Helixes and cross-patterns of brownish-white crystals grow rapidly across Elizzibiana.

Gwenddolyn says, "Interesting, never saw that."

You say, "Like that."

Valynn whispers something to Hanryu.

You gesture at Elizzibiana.

Elizzibiana chuckles.

Anuril takes a sip of his brandy.

Betlind grins at Elurora, her dimples flashing into view.

Valynn takes a sip of her Expanse.

Hanryu grins at Valynn.

Kethrai says, "The vision doesn't make it sound like the salt is being good protection. It's harming the viewer."

Elurora giggles at Betlind.

Ryeka ponders.

Casari says, "It doesn't do much for a Warrior Mage, either."

Karthor chuckles.

Anuril nods at Casari, obviously agreeing with her views.

Kethrai snorts, loudly.

Elizzibiana says in an archaic accent, "Ehh, might bounce a few blows off."

Majelaket says, "More likely a metaphor of some need being fulfilled to a devestating level, whatever the sun represents."

Gwenddolyn says, "I think Karthor was more accurate, a place that was once salt water that came rushing back in after the sun exploded."

Kethrai says, "Or as Karthor says... A basin where the sea once was, and then the sea rushing back."

Elizzibiana says in an archaic accent, "Again, sounds like the islands."

Illiya ponders.

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Clearly the sun's made o' sea water."

Imroth exclaims, "It's about baSALT isle!"

Karthor makes a matter-of-fact grunting noise.

Betlind giggles at Elurora.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Isn't there a place called the salt flats ?"

Imroth asks, "Eh?"

Elurora gazes at Karthor.

Illiya winces.

Illiya flashes a quick grin at Imroth.

Imroth slowly empties his lungs.

Zalinyar says, "Clearly."

Illiya asks, "Do we know anywhere that has a salt basin?"

Zalinyar asks, "SPari up north has salt flats, right?"

Umptiskrunk hums to himself.

Valynn says, "There are salt flats outside Muspar'i."

Ryeka nods to Zalinyar.

Gwenddolyn says, "I assumed Muspari was a salt basin filled with sand."

Zalinyar nods.

Casari says, "Good point. If the supposition that the bowl of energy has been emptied by the Heralds is right, and if defeating them pours back everything they took, then that would be... turbulent."

Ryeka says, "In fact, I collected a few salt piles there."

Zalinyar says, "And it never rains there."

Valynn nods at Casari, obviously agreeing with her views.

Ryeka says, "Never had a use for them, but I was curious."

Valynn grins at Ryeka.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Outside Muspari?"

Ryeka grins at Valynn, her dimples flashing into view.

Gwenddolyn peers quizzically at Ryeka.

Ryeka nods to Gwenddolyn.

Valynn nods.

Ryeka says, "I have an awful sense of direction, so I can't tell you exactly."

Ryeka chuckles.

Gwenddolyn says, "That sounds like trouble."

Elurora leans on Betlind.

Kethrai ponders.

Betlind hums to herself.

Gwenddolyn says, "That is our best guess on that one."

Ryeka nods to Valynn.

Elurora gazes off into the distance.

Illiya taps a regal diamondwood scepter capped with a trilliant-cut sunderstone that she is holding.

Betlind leans on Elurora.

Gwenddolyn says, "Notes, crown lost in throne city and sun explodes by Muspari that gets hit with a tidal wave."

Elurora says, "I think Miss Casari'."

Elurora clears her throat.

Elurora says, "Miss Carari's take has some merit."

Elurora gazes upward.

Kethrai observes Gwenddolyn with fascination.

Elurora just nudged Betlind.

Elurora looks at Betlind, obviously trying not to grin.

Betlind nods to Elurora.

Karthor says to Gwenddolyn in a Haakish accent, "Plus a dog with a stick somewhere, because why not."

Karthor nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Betlind grins, revealing her dimples.

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Gwenddolyn says, "So that would mean it would happen everywhere."

Elurora slowly says, "Maybe it's less of a literal thing and more of a..."

Kethrai says, "You know who else wears a crown... the King of Muspar'i...."

Elurora gazes off into the distance.

Imroth nods to Elurora.

Zalinyar says, "Assuming the sun were to actually explode, the sea would be the last thing any of us saw."

Gwenddolyn says, "He has not lost it yet."

Betlind leans on Kethrai.

Gwenddolyn grins at Kethrai, her dimples flashing into view.

Ryeka nods to Valynn.

Imroth says, "I think the sun exploding should maybe not be taken literally."

Elurora nods at Imroth, obviously agreeing with his views.

Betlind nods in agreement.

Aerilia says, "Let's hope not."

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "I sure hope not."

Karthor chuckles.

Illiya nods in agreement.

You say, "Yes, hopefully not."

Kethrai asks Gwenddolyn, "Moon Mage visions happen in the future, eh?"

Vaddon chuckles.

Mistanna says to Kethrai, "Not always."

You ponder.

Kethrai brushes one ear with his hand, grooming it absentmindedly.

Gwenddolyn says, "Sometimes they are about the past that warns us about the future."

Elurora says, "I think the one with Unaka was probably an as it happened thing, since she showed up not too long after."

Gwenddolyn nods to Elurora.

Illiya says, "Liraxes too."

Elurora nods to Illiya.

You say, "Sometimes it's in the very near future, bleeding into the present, but they are in the future. Though maybe not necessarily the future we will actually reach."

Valynn ponders.

Gwenddolyn says, "Most never happen but get us thinking."

Kethrai asks you, "Like the forking tines the cigarillo-smoking woman sees?"

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "An' just when ya think ya've got a handle on the timin' of it all, some Timekeeper'll show up an' turn yesterday into tomorrow or somesuch."

Karthor twitches.

You nod to Kethrai.

Zalinyar says, "Like webs, many different strings."

Elurora squints at Karthor.

Ryeka grins at Karthor, her dimples flashing into view.

Vaddon smiles.

Vaddon nods to Zalinyar.

Valynn grins at Karthor.

Betlind says to Karthor, "Maybe he's already been doing it this whole time."

Betlind waggles her fingers mystically at Karthor. How nice.

Elurora gazes off into the distance.

Karthor edges away from Betlind.

You say, "I suppose one exception is things that were done in the past, to impact the future, that we then see when the time is right. Nera might have left more breadcrumbs for us that we haven't found yet."

Gwenddolyn says, "That cigarillo woman is pulling the strings."

Karthor mutters something into the air about time.

Elurora rubs her head.

Majelaket flinches.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Does anyone have info on the next artifact?"

Gwenddolyn asks, "Just a crown?"

Betlind says, "Well, as certain as a vision's information can be."

Illiya says, "Usually Asildu shows up and tells us about it."

Valynn says, "Just a vision of a crown that we can maybe ask Asildu about."

You say, "And... I'm not sure just what effect Timekeeper magic might have on things, other than making it even more confusing. But I'm digressing a bit."

You grin.

Illiya smiles at you, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Elurora grins at you.

Betlind is giggling at you.

Imroth says, "I could use a crown."

Imroth smirks.

Gwenddolyn says, "I would search throne city to start with."

Gwenddolyn nods.

Mistanna flashes a quick grin at you.

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "We'll all feel silly when the artifact turns out to be the dice instead o' the crown."

Illiya grins at Karthor, her dimples flashing into view.

You grin at Karthor.

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Elurora says to Karthor, "Maybe that's the last artifact."

Vaddon smiles.

Gwenddolyn says, "Maybe it is buried in the salt."

Gwenddolyn chuckles.

Valynn gives Karthor a wry grin.

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Or the bowl they're bein' rolled in, even."

Karthor chuckles.

Imroth says, "Maybe it is an exploding sun."

Zalinyar says, "Heckensfark I've lost my crown."

Zalinyar sighs.

Elurora leans on Aemaranth.

Gwenddolyn pats Zalinyar on the back.

You ask, "And that covers all the visions I had to discuss this evening! Is there anything else anyone wants to bring up?"

Zalinyar quietly says to Vaddon, "Probably under the bed."

Ryeka says, "Muspar'i is also called the Sun's Egg."

Kethrai says, "If the dice are telling us about an artifact by all landing on the same face..."

Ryeka winks.

Betlind beams at you! What a warm feeling!

Zalinyar grins at Vaddon, her dimples flashing into view.

Kethrai asks, "Can they only tell us about four artifacts?"

Valynn grins at Ryeka.

Betlind says to you, "Thank you for the sharing the visions with us."

Gwenddolyn says, "Oh my, good catch Ryeka."

Betlind bows to you.

Ryeka chuckles.

Vaddon says, "Yes, thank you for sharing."

Ryeka says, "I spent a lot of time in libraries."

Raising her rice wine to you, Illiya gives you a toast. Cheers!

Imroth tosses his some knucklebones!

Ground -- Ground -- Tree -- Ground

He scoops up his knucklebones before anyone else can touch them.

Vaddon says, "Always fun to speculate."

You say to Kethrai, "I wouldn't be sure that the dice have the same faces every time they are rolled."

Umptiskrunk says to Imroth, "Not bad."

Imroth narrows his eyes.

Casari nods to Illiya.

Betlind gets a book of master carving instructions from inside her leather apron.

Betlind stares intently at her crown instructions.

Valynn says to you, "This Grey Expanse is very good."

Illiya smiles at Casari, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

You smile at Valynn.

Zalinyar asks, "I recall the dice were multi faceted?"

Elurora glances at Betlind.

Gwenddolyn says, "They seemed to have changed since the previous vision."

Valynn takes a sip of her Expanse.

Betlind looks at Elurora and coughs.

Imroth says, "That seems like a buried Asildu sort of roll."

Kethrai says to you, "Feels like that's a prime qualifier for being dice, but maybe that just makes me a bad gamble."

Kethrai says, "Gambler."

Casari nods to Illiya.

Kethrai coughs.

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Anuril takes a sip of his brandy.

Zalinyar grins at Kethrai, her dimples flashing into view.

Valynn closes her jadeleaf satchel.

Gwenddolyn says, "Or Muspari will build a casino, that is what the vision is about."

Gwenddolyn chortles softly at some secret joke.

Ryeka chuckles.

Valynn nods to Aerilia.

Zalinyar says to Kethrai, "It's ok, I'm a bad gamble too."

Zalinyar chuckles.

You say, "For anyone who wishes to head back to Guildfest, I should still have a moonbeam up there for a bit."

Aerilia hugs Valynn, getting a smile in return.

Elurora chuckles at Betlind.

Gwenddolyn says, "I would go."

You gaze skyward and trace the planetary alignments in the air as you prepare the Moongate spell.

Aerilia hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return.

You carefully mark your place and close your astronomer's journal, securing the clasp.

Illiya hugs Aerilia, who wraps her arms around Illiya with a warm smile.

You put your journal in your scholar's valise.

Elurora says to you, "That would be nice if you don't mind."

Kystrk says, "Thanks for the discussion."

Casari says, "Thank you, Court Mage."

Kystrk waves.

Elurora hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return.

Illiya hugs Betlind, who wraps her arms around Illiya with a warm smile.

Elurora shifts her weight.

Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Betlind pulls Elurora to her in a tight hug.

Aerilia bobs a brief, respectful bow.

Umptiskrunk bows to you.

Illiya bobs a quick curtsy to you.

Elurora hugs Ayrell, who wraps her arms around Elurora with a warm smile.

A swirling vortex of shadows draws itself from the ground and coalesces into a Katamba-black Moongate with a hazy border of protean shadow, which yawns open like a hungry maw.

Illiya hugs Elurora, getting a smile in return.

Karthor says in a Haakish accent, "Right then, well ya folks take care. It's been enjoyably confusin' as usual."

Illiya hugs Valynn, getting a smile in return.

Kethrai bows to you.

Illiya hugs Ayrell, getting a smile in return.

Gwenddolyn says, "Thanks Miskton, great info."

Ryeka exclaims, "And thank you for the instruction!"

Ryeka beams!

Betlind hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return.

Zalinyar says, "Thank you for hosting."

Karthor raises his hand in a quick salute.

Ayrell hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return.

Gwenddolyn waves.

Imroth says to you, "Thank you for gathering us. I apologize for my part in having excessive side conversation."

Casari waves.

Valynn says to you, "Thank you very much. As always, very interesting."

Mistanna says to you, "Thank you for continuing to hold these, I've missed them."

Illiya waves.

Mistanna flashes a quick grin at you.

Ryeka raises her hand in a quick salute.

You grin.

Valynn waves.

Zalinyar chuckles at Vaddon.

Zalinyar raises her voice in merry laughter.

Aemaranth says to you in a melodic accent, "As do I. Sorry for interupting."

You say, "It's okay, sparking discussion is the point."

You nod.

Kethrai nods to you.

Aemaranth says to Imroth in a melodic accent, "I seem to remember we were going to have a conversation before but we never got around to it."

Ezerak says to you, "Thank you for sharing the visions."

Majelaket chuckles.

Betlind whistles a merry tune.

Betlind takes hold of her crown and begins to hammer a basic steel stamp into the bone surface.

Kethrai exclaims to Betlind, "You found it!"

Betlind offers Imroth a wolf-bone crown.

You gaze skyward and trace the planetary alignments in the air as you prepare the Moongate spell.

Betlind winks at Kethrai.

Aemaranth grins at Betlind, her dimples flashing into view.

Imroth accepts Betlind's crown.

Betlind leans on Aemaranth.

Imroth beams at Betlind!

You say, "Going to head up north myself, so last chance for the moongate if anyone wants it."

Imroth chuckles.

Betlind bows to you.

You gesture.

A swirling vortex of shadows draws itself from the ground and coalesces into a Katamba-black Moongate with a hazy border of protean shadow, which yawns open like a hungry maw.

Ayrell nods politely to you.

Mistanna waves.

Imroth says, "Don't know if this goes with my halo."

Betlind giggles at Imroth.

Aemaranth grins at Imroth, her dimples flashing into view.

Imroth says, "I was hoping for a cursed Herald artifact type of crown."

You say, "Take care, all."

Betlind says, "You said you needed one, so... At least you have it at the ready now."

You nod politely.

Majelaket takes a sip of his brandy.

Ezerak waves to you.

Betlind exclaims to you, "Take care!"

As you cross the Moongate's threshold you are drawn through to the other side...
