You exclaim, "Okay, I think we can probably get started. Thank you all for coming!"

Zalinyar beams at Mistanna!

Betlind beams at Tirost!

Tirost beams at Betlind!

Mistanna flashes a wide grin at Zalinyar.

Zalinyar grins at Mistanna, her dimples flashing into view.

Ayrell nods at Ezerak, obviously agreeing with his views.

Betlind giggles at Tirost.

Tirost grins at Betlind.

You say, "There are a few visions to discuss this evening, some of which seem to be related to identified ongoing events, or other visions that have been seen before. While others are, as usual, less clear."

Elurora grins at you.

Betlind chortles softly at some secret joke.

Nsar sits down on the prayer tapestry.

Zalinyar grins at you, her dimples flashing into view.

Zalinyar rubs her hands together.

Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum.

Zalinyar gazes at you.

Ezerak wrinkles his nose.

You say, "We'll start with one that seems to at least be clear in the general outlines of what it is related to."

You say, "My mouth filled with the taste of copper, and I found myself clinging awkwardly to a writhing web of electricity. To my surprise, the lightning appeared to be solid and held my weight, though it moved chaotically, connections forming and separating before my eyes. As I climbed along the strange landscape, I felt myself pulled towards a collection of strands that seemed to converge at a cocoon of densely wrapped electricity. As I paused to investigate the object, the web began to vibrate, and a large multi-limbed being made of shivering arcs of electricity scurried towards me, effortlessly flowing along and through the lightning webbing. Pausing before me, the creature unfolded several extra crackling limbs, and seemed to study me for a long moment. The nearby cocoon twitched suddenly, the creature lost interest in me, and the vision faded."

You say, "Most of the visions of late that seem to be related to Zengmodaleth seem to have been related to the custodians there, but that does not mean they are the only things wandering around the Plane of Electricity that might have access to that space."

Tirost nods to you.

Betlind gives a slight nod.

Casari says, "Ooo, sounds like the whole thing's a trap."

Tirost asks Casari, "Does it?"

Elurora grins at Betlind.

You say, "I've heard from the warrior mage scholar Uryutis that there are creatures native to the Plane of Electricity that could perhaps be called 'spiders', at least superficially."

Tirost says, "I thought the being seemed oddly... not hostile."

Gwenddolyn asks, "They spin webs with that new electroweave?"

You say to Tirost, "It didn't leap to the attack, it's true. Though it did seem to have something possibly living wrapped up in that cocoon."

Casari says to Tirost, "Someone else's trap."

Nyctus darkly says, "Lightning creatures make cocoons? That suggests the ones we've seen may be larval and that they will transform into something worse in the future."

Zalinyar says, "More referring to this is this thing here, and the same thing that is here, there, is different."

Gwenddolyn says, "Or they use the spiders to catch prey, put them into cocoons and they become something else."

You say to Gwenddolyn, "We don't know the actual original source of the electroweave fibers, so it's possible."

Imroth asks, "Is that something it caught or babies?"

Gwenddolyn says, "Either way, it's bad."

Gwenddolyn chuckles.

Imroth nods.

Ezerak says, "I agree with Casari, it sounds representative of a trap."

You say, "It might be dangerous too read too much into the spider metaphor, but for a spider, something wrapped up like that would be food."

Gwenddolyn blanches.

Asherasa curiously asks you, "May I ask, how similar are these visions to dreams?"

You say to Asherasa, "Quite similar, in many respects. Including how much in the way of specific information slips away on waking."

Asherasa nods to you.

The clear, ringing tones of Casari's song define a soothing melody that sails easily into the high reaches of her range.

Asherasa says, "So this 'spider' may be something else entirely."

Tirost nods to Asherasa.

Asherasa says, "I see, thank you."

Asherasa bows her head in acknowledgement.

Ezerak nods to Asherasa.

Nyctus darkly says, "It likely only bears resemblance to a spider so making too many assumptions about its shape is risky."

You say, "It's possible, yes. Though given the confirmation that beings something like that do exist in the Plane of Electricity, my leaning would be toward it being representative of an actual creature."

You nod to Zalinyar.

Zalinyar beams at Mistanna!

Nyctus nods to you.

Zalinyar nods to you.

Apollys just arrived.

Tirost says, "I think it's at least possible it's something we're meant to help - though of course, I could be very wrong."

Elurora flashes a quick grin at Apollys.

Apollys nods politely to Elurora.

You say, "Since research into Zengmodaleth is ongoing, my current thought is that these creatures may be encountered as more of the facility is found."

Tirost nods.

Nyctus darkly says, "Have those electric spider-like creatures been seen during the attacks? The one I was present for was chaotic and I don't recall."

Tirost shakes his head.

You say, "Creatures formed from electricity have been seen, but they had humanoid forms."

Nyctus darkly says, "Ah, interesting."

Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum.

Casari asks you, "Do they have to?"

Ezerak says to Casari, "I would assume they can take whatever form they choose."

You say to Casari, "I'm not sure. There may be elemental magic researchers who know more about the nature of selreks."

Ezerak ponders.

Ezerak says to Casari, "Or that we percieve them in some sort of form we recognize."

Ezerak shrugs.

Casari winks.

Zalinyar beams at Karthor!

You say, "Let's see..."

You say, "For the next vision, perhaps another that follows up on previous visions."

Tirost waves to Karthor.

Karthor waves to Tirost.

You say, "Everything flickered, the fabric of reality rent, and blood-red snow streamed around me, muting all sound with a gentle hiss. A brilliant line of blinding white sparks etched a complex diagram in the ground, a wide circle criss-crossed with harsh lines and intersected curves. As the diagram formed, waves of heat rose, and after a moment, the sparks ceased, and the heat intensified, melting the snow into a torrential rain. Suddenly a squad of figures in golden plate rushed to the diagram's perimeter, forming an inward facing shield wall, shouting at me to run. The ground shook."

You say, "One of the figures rushed forward, knocking me clean off my feet. The figure rolled over me, grabbing me like a doll, and threw me over his brethren's shield wall. As I sailed through the air, I caught a glimpse of a spiraling column of fire, immolating the kneeling figure, his grin and wink visible as his flesh blackened and charred. The vision faded."

Zalinyar gasps!

Ezerak says, "Ah, tho golden plate again."

You nod.

Tirost glances at Betlind.

Betlind squints.

Gwenddolyn says, "That is Drelden and the Original Seven."

You say, "Yes, more of the figures in golden plate who I suspect represent The Bulwark in some fashion."

Apollys asks, "I believe the prior visions were assumed to relate to The Bulwark?"

Asherasa's eyes darken with thought, and her tail grows very still.

You nod to Apollys.

Tirost says to Apollys, "That was my take as well."

Apollys nods.

Gwenddolyn says, "Hriage made their armor, it was gold-plated."

Briaen taps a heretic black sanowret crystal that he is wearing.

Briaen gazes intently into his sanowret crystal, and scintillating sparks of light dance across its surface.

Apollys says, "It likely wasn't."

The clear, ringing tones of Casari's song define a soothing melody that sails easily into the high reaches of her range.

You stroke your beard in thoughtful contemplation.

Zalinyar nods to Gwenddolyn.

Gwenddolyn says, "He wrote about it in his journal."

Gwenddolyn says, "Hriage's journal."

Zalinyar stands up.

Tirost asks Gwenddolyn, "Is it likely they are responsible for the Bulwark?"

Ruea smiles.

Elurora quietly says, "About making armor, but I don't think he said it was gold-plated. Course, he was also not all there when he was writing that."

Ruea hugs Zalinyar, who wraps her arms around Ruea with a warm smile.

You say, "The recent visions featuring them seem to be possibly showing different types of extraplanar incursions being fought off, taking various forms."

Ruea hugs Ezerak, who wraps his arms around Ruea with a warm smile.

Gwenddolyn says, "I doubt it is about the bulwark."

You smile at Ruea.

Tirost nods to you.

Asherasa asks you, "Are you interested in hearing of dreams?"

Ruea quietly says to you, "Forgive my lateness."

Nyctus darkly asks, "It's interesting that it ended with a pillar of fire and not a massive thunderbolt. And, what's with the wink?"

Apollys says to Tirost, "Syal's Seven were, I assume, flesh and bone. Now, of course, the Visions being metaphorical to some extent, perhaps they aren't meant to be taken literally, but these golden-armored figures seem to be something of... I don't necessarily want to say divine, but perhaps more? I would assume a power beyond mere mortals."

Ruea leans on Ayrell.

Tirost nods.

Ayrell smiles at Ruea.

Ayrell hugs Ruea, getting a smile in return.

You hear a voice ask, "These golden-plated figures seem to be continuously falling during the visions. Is that significant?"

Atuen just arrived.

You say to Asherasa, "Indeed. Sometimes they don't have any meaning, but sometimes they are a way for messages to be presented. Though usually from different sources than what moon mages see."

Atuen stands near Frulle.

Casari asks you, "Have you seen any other visions about someone like that getting their flesh burnt?"

Nyctus darkly says, "They fall but seem not to be particularly bothered by it."

Asherasa says, "I am not a Moon Mage, but I do dream sometimes."

Ayrell says to Ruea, "Cannot have you ruining those shoes."

Nyctus darkly says, "Then again, death is a mere annoyance for most present."

Betlind asks, "Perhaps shows the Bulwark is weakening, if that's the connection you wanna make?"

Tirost says, "The wink, to me, seems to suggest some contentment in their sacrifice - which, along with the armor, is why I am reminded of Paladins."

Ruea says to Ayrell, "You're a darling."

Frulle takes a seat.

You say, "Yes, in recent visions there definitely seem to be deaths among the figures in gold plate. In the one in which one's head was... removed... it was a bit difficult to tell, but in this latest one it seems that death is not actually bothering them that much."

Gwenddolyn says, "Sacrifice is the key word there."

Frulle stands up.

Gwenddolyn nods to Tirost.

Tirost nods to you.

Imroth says, "Definitely sounds like a paladin being happy with their sacrifice kind of wink."

Tirost asks Asherasa, "Was your dream related to these visions?"

Frulle smiles at Zalinyar.

Nyctus darkly says, "So they're dying one by one and we're suffering planar incursions. Seems to linme up."

Apollys says, "Either way, I don't believe it has anything directly to do with Drelden, or Syal. At least, not in so far as the events that happened down south. Perhaps a bigger picture."

You say to Casari, "I have seen visions in which people were burnt, though I don't recall them all in detail offhand."

Karthor closes his eyes for a moment and grows still.

Gwenddolyn says, "AQ definite difference of opinion."

Zalinyar nods to Gwenddolyn.

Tirost asks Briaen, "What do you think, O solemn listener?"

You say, "Well, there's a lot we don't know about the nature of the Bulwark, though it seems to be related to paladins. There may have been something set in motion by paladins in the past."

Briaen smiles Tirsot.

Apollys nods to you.

Betlind gives a slight nod.

Asherasa says to Tirost, "I dreamed of a great, golden fortress. Or perhaps it was a temple. Three arches facing against... something."

Tirost smiles at Briaen.

Zalinyar says, "The knowledge is available to everyone who wishes to sit is dusty musty libraries and read the book of history there."

Gwenddolyn says, "Yes, they are fighting something wherever Syal is."

Briaen says to Tirost, "I'm of the mind that when we are ment to know, we will."

Betlind gazes at Asherasa.

Zalinyar asks, "Three arches, is that not aesry?"

Gwenddolyn nods to Zalinyar.

Tirost chuckles at Briaen.

Asherasa says to Tirost, "There were figures in the fortress. Perhaps they had golden plate. I do not recall that exactly, but when I heard what the human said, it made me think of them."

You stroke your beard in thoughtful contemplation.

Tirost nods to Asherasa.

Asherasa says, "It was much larger than anything I have ever seen, either on the mainland or elsewhere, though I have not been to Aesry."

Zalinyar nods to Gwenddolyn.

Elurora flashes a quick grin at Briaen.

Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum.

Briaen nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.

Tirost says to Asherasa, "I appreciate you sharing your dream. The fortress and the golden plate wearing protectors seem to be guarding against something."

Asherasa nods to Tirost.

Apollys says, "Or everything."

Apollys scratches distractedly at his beard.

Hanryu gazes intently into his sanowret crystal, and scintillating sparks of light dance across its surface.

Tirost softly says to Briaen, "Never thought I'd say this, but you and Mazrian have that much in common."

You say, "The fact that the nature of the threats the figures in plate are protecting against keeps changing seems to me to be further evidence of something like the Bulwark. There are many different potential sources of danger from other planes."

Tirost laughs softly, trying to hide his amusement.

Imroth asks, "Planar defenders?"

Atuen opens his arms in a hieratic gesture.

Nyctus darkly says, "My vision seems to potentially hit at some kind of invasion as well, though not really an elementally aspected one. The elemental invasions may be just the beginning."

Tirost nods to you.

Zalinyar says, "Perhaps there is a time near at hand, when the world as we know it will begin to unravel, and we will have to each and every one of us, choose to defend light, or dark. There may not be an inbetween."

Apollys quietly asks Elurora, "Worried Dog will have a fit if he smells that thing on you?"

Elurora giggles at Apollys.

Ruea nods.

Elurora quietly says to Apollys, "I was hoping to pet it but it's too fast."

Gwenddolyn says, "If the Original Seven Paladins are still alive and fighting, it must be somewhere that they do not age."

Gwenddolyn says, "Where time stand still."

Tirost says to Gwenddolyn, "Like the Plane of Exile."

Zalinyar says, "Is age a thing only of the plane of existence."

Casari stares blankly into the distance.

Tirost nods to Zynell.

Gwenddolyn says, "I've never been there to know."

Gwenddolyn grins at Tirost, her dimples flashing into view.

Tirost says to Gwenddolyn, "I can't recommend it."

Casari asks you, "What's the next vision?"

Nyctus darkly says, "I've seen stranger things in the Ways. The idea of a plane where things do not age is not at all far-fetched."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Zalinyar says, "All we can do here, is think on the visions received."

Zalinyar smiles at you, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Apollys whispers something to Elurora.

You say, "The next two visions are... on the strange side of things."

Elurora says to Zalinyar, "The plane we're in is called the Plane of Abiding."

Gwenddolyn ponders.

Ezerak chuckles.

Elurora glances at Apollys.

Tirost takes a sip of his cocktail.

Ezerak dryly asks, "Stranger than the last two?"

You say, "I found myself diving in shallow waters, swimming among corals and neon fish. The hot sun beat down, and an octopus flashed green and red before darting away. As I explored the waters, a large leafy seahorse with an array of bizarre colors and flowing stripes seemed to take interest, squaring off toward me and extending rippled fins disguised as grasses. Its throat expanded and contracted in a strange display. Suddenly it spit a tight jet of blue fluid at me, which struck my chest and slowly dissipated."

Tirost chuckles at Ezerak.

You say, "My heart began to race, and my limbs felt heavy."

You say, "The colors began to laugh."

Elurora blinks at you.

You say, "The seahorse blurred as it conjoined into the spaces between the waves, and the sun was so loud because it called across the distance, rudely interrupting the moons, so rude, so very rude."

You say, "The seahorse shook its head, a denial, refusing the unasked but always implied question. It swam off, and my heart slowed a little. The vision faded."

Ezerak says, "Well then, it certainly was stranger than the last two."

Karthor scratches his head.

Tirost nods in agreement.

Nyctus darkly says, "I think I might have had that one too."

You say, "A lot of that was how things felt rather than direct experience, because my senses were... not quite working normally."

Frulle chuckles.

Apollys asks you, "How long ago was it that you first saw that vision? Could it have been lingering from Andreshlew's visit?"

You say, "There's a nagging sensation that there was something important there, but it's so disjointed that it's hard to read much from it."

You say to Apollys, "Fairly recently. Certainly since after Andreshlew submerged."

Gwenddolyn says, "It makes me think of the Merelew place."

Elurora quietly says, "It sounds kind of pretty, all the colors."

Apollys gives a slight nod.

Karthor asks, "I s'pose the obvious question'd be...what's this "unasked question"?"

Karthor scratches his head.

Elurora nods at Karthor, obviously agreeing with his views.

Tirost nods to Karthor.

You say, "Yes, that does seem to be important."

Elurora squints at Apollys.

You say, "That denial could, perhaps, be interpreted as saying "you do not have permission". But we still don't know the question."

Apollys ponders.

Nsar asks, "You're not concerned with what was powerful enough to preclude your connection to your moons?"

Gwenddolyn says, "The sun was rude to the moons."

Apollys asks, "That phrase was common among... the Trader visions, yes?"

Gwenddolyn says, "That is an odd interpretation."

Atuen says to Frulle, "Thank you Brother."

The clear, ringing tones of Casari's song define a soothing melody that sails easily into the high reaches of her range.

Zalinyar nods to Gwenddolyn.

Karthor asks, "The whole thing's odd...laughin' colors?"

Karthor twitches.

You say to Apollys, "It's commonly come up, and seems possible related to Traders, though it's hard to say for sure."

Frulle says to Atuen, "Any time brother."

Asherasa glances at Yraggahh.

Asherasa nods to Yraggahh.

Gwenddolyn says, "But Traders don't take samatak or see colors."

Apollys says, "I'm willing to write off the laughing colors. You stare at the sun as long as Good Sir Miskton does, and that's bound to be the least worrying thing you see."

Apollys flashes a quick grin at you.

Gwenddolyn asks, "Empaths see colors of auras?"

You say, "The moons being interrupted could perhaps have meaning, but it also seemed to be part of being dosed with a powerful hallucinogen."

Mistanna says, "I would agree that the sun is rude though."

Tirost nods to you.

Tirost says to you, "Whatever the seahorse spat deeply affected the senses and thoughts of the visionary."

Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum.

Karthor says to Gwenddolyn, "Not really, though there're colors associated with certain ailments."

Asherasa nods to Yraggahh.

Yraggahh nods to Asherasa.

Gwenddolyn says, "Absinthe does that."

Apollys casually observes the area.

You say, "And I'm used to seeing colors around things thanks to Aura Sight, but this was a bit more chaotic."

Apollys asks, "Is anyone else tempted to go find a few seahorses and see how enjoyable that hallucination is?"

Zalinyar exclaims to you, "Please, do continue!"

Gwenddolyn says, "Ahh perhaps."

Asherasa bows her head, acknowledging Yraggahh.

Gwenddolyn nods to you.

Elurora glances at Apollys.

Zalinyar smiles at you, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

You chuckle at Apollys.

Yraggahh's tail undulates passively just above the ground.

You hear a voice ask, "Perhaps unrelated, but didnt the creatures in Zengmodaleth flash colors as well?"

Hanryu closes his eyes and fades swiftly into the shadows.

You say, "Yes, the custodians appear to communicate using tones and flashing colored lights."

Gwenddolyn nods to Zalinyar.

Asherasa glances at Tirost.

Ezerak says, "Hearing colors, so to speak."

Zalinyar nods to Gwenddolyn.

Ezerak shrugs.

Ezerak says, "Could be related I suppose."

You say, "The next vision was also a bit confusing, though more unpleasant."

Gwenddolyn says, "Well colors laughing would be hearing."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Gwenddolyn nods to Ezerak.

You hear a voice say, "Do not tones and light appear differently under water? Perhpas it is to indicate that we change the meothd of interpreting these 2 things."

Asherasa shakes her head at Tirost.

You say, "Panic! The claws slashed at my back and I ran. Faster and faster I fled, slavering maws snapping at my heels! I heard them yowling and chittering, scurrying along on too many limbs, calling to one another as they coordinated, herding, approaching on my left, and I ducked, sliding under a narrow opening, my lungs burning for air as I ran, ran faster than I had ever run before. I rounded a bend and something raked across my leg, and I felt my blood flowing freely. A doorway appeared before me and I leapt, covering my head and face, and as I smashed through a wall of crystal I began to fall."

You say, "Spinning around surrounded by reflective fragments, I watched as the door receded and snarling forms peeked through, howling."

Nyctus smiles.

Nyctus darkly says, "Ah yes, I recognize that vision."

You say, "I fell, and the stars burned around me."

You say, "I fell, and my reflections began to smirk."

You say, "The vision faded."

Elurora furrows her brow.

Gwenddolyn says, "A wall of crystal."

Apollys ponders.

Briaen frowns.

Apollys says, "Well, my first reaction is, why run? But I know you don't have control over these visions."

Elurora smiles at you as she patiently enlightens you further on the practice of Alchemy.

Nyctus darkly says, "Seems like an invasion of shadow creatures. The smirking reflections are not unlike reflections in divination mirrors. Tezirah is still trapped on the Plane of Probability and if we're suffering planar incursions..."

You say, "Perhaps doing something unwise with dire consequences, but under such duress that there seemed to be no other options."

Zalinyar asks Gwenddolyn, "What is a wall of crystal, of any relevance?"

Elurora grins at Apollys.

Nyctus darkly says, "I suspect it hints at our current location."

Tirost asks Briaen, "Those are almost certainly denizens of the Plane of Exile. What do you make of the door and the wall of glass?"

Apollys nods to Elurora.

Gwenddolyn asks, "What has walls of crystal?"

Apollys asks, "I would assume that the mention of crystal does indeed hint at this tower, or at least, Shard, but I wonder what else it could be. The reflections in the shatters, does that hold any specific meaning or commonality to Moon Mages?"

Gwenddolyn says, "There can't be many places that do."

You say, "Crystal that is possibly related to something malevolent, from the smirking of the reflections in the fragments of it."

Briaen says to Tirost, "I'm...muling it over, but it's concerning. I don't know what exactly to make of either."

Tirost nods.

Betlind frowns.

You say, "And the crystal was apparently filling a doorway, for some reason."

Nyctus darkly says, "Yes, those of us who use divination mirrors are quite used to seeing our reflections doing their own thing."

Gwenddolyn says, "If the Dragon Priests attack from the south, Shard would be impacted first."

Betlind quietly says, "Reminds me of getting pulled away into a nightmare on Basalt..."

You hear a voice say, "I would hazard to guess it could represent Srinoja...hounded by demons and breaking through the inside of the mirror, the slivers reflective of who she had become."

Nyctus darkly says, "Smirking reflections hints at a connection to the Plane of Probability."

You stroke your beard in thoughtful contemplation.

You say, "That idea involving Srinoja does seem plausible."

Gwenddolyn says, "Could be about her."

Tirost asks, "Were there not those who saw reflections of themselves when pulled into the demonic spaces during the Basalt Raid?"

Apollys asks Nyctus, "Forgive me, I'm barely aware enough of your guild to know that there are indeed different sects, and those sects prefer different divination methods, but do you know which sect in particular deals the most in mirrors?"

Betlind nods to Tirost.

Tirost nods to you.

Gwenddolyn says, "How odd."

Zalinyar nods to Tirost.

You say, "There's a lot we don't know about her situation, but it does seem like it could be related."

Ezerak says, "Nefis may be correct. It certainly sounds like the conversations I've had with her since her...escape, if you will."

Zalinyar says, "That is ture."

Nyctus chuckles.

Zalinyar clears her throat.

Nyctus darkly says, "The Progeny of Tezirah."

Zalinyar says, "True."

Apollys gives a slight nod.

Nyctus darkly says, "We specialize in divinations involving mirrors."

Gwenddolyn says, "Seems likely."

Frulle stands up.

Nyctus darkly says, "Ah apologies was honestly just showing it to you..."

Apollys says, "The connection to Srinoja does make a shade of sense. Pardon the pun."

Tirost nods to Briaen.

Apollys clears his throat.

Elurora smiles at you as she patiently enlightens you further on the practice of Alchemy.

You say, "If I get a chance to speak with her, perhaps I'll ask if any of it sounds familiar."

Zalinyar smiles at you, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

You say, "This is a vision of the future, of course, but that doesn't mean something like it hasn't already happened previously."

Tirost takes a sip of his cocktail.

Elurora raises her hand.

You nod to Elurora.

Elurora asks, "Are all your visions of the future? Never of the past?"

Imroth says, "I don't know much about visions, but escape from threat through extra-planar travel sounds pretty good considering some of the other visions you spoke of."

Nyctus darkly says, "For me the sensation of being clawed at was not unlike the assault that follows a rogue moongate."

Nyctus darkly says, "But, of course, there's a great deal of subjectivity to these visions."

You say to Elurora, "Generally speaking."

Elurora gives you a slight nod.

You say, "There's room for some wiggle room, such as having a vision of a future in which a bard experienced something from the past, perhaps..."

Apollys raises his hand.

Elurora grins at you.

You nod to Apollys.

Apollys says to you, "Have you had any visions about what I'll have for dinner? I haven't eaten all day and I'm really looking forward to a good meal."

Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum.

Elurora offers Apollys a honey creampuff.

Apollys accepts Elurora's honey creampuff.

Apollys flashes a wide grin.

Apollys says, "This'll tide me over."

You chuckle.

Apollys takes a bite of the creampuff.

Asherasa says to Apollys, "Savor the emptiness."

You say, "I'm having a vision now of myself recommending the Milene's Rose Inn, while you're in the city."

Gwenddolyn says to you, "Was there a vision about balls of light? Someone mentioned it to me last night."

The clear, ringing tones of Casari's song define a soothing melody that sails easily into the high reaches of her range.

Tirost chuckles at you!

Elurora quietly says, "They have the best milk."

Apollys says to Asherasa, "I don't do well with empty. I prefer full, usually of rage, sass, and or alcohol and food."

You say to Gwenddolyn, "Several months back, yes."

Elurora takes a sip of her milk.

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

You say, "I've got one more new vision to discuss, then there was a request to go over a previous one."

Zynell bows her head and mutters a short prayer in a hushed voice. Raising her head, she glances to the shadows with a knowing smile.

Asherasa says, "I find emptiness brings one closer to other states of being. But then, I suppose, so do those other things."

You say, "I found myself standing on the deck of a ship, gently rocking on easy waters and light winds under a clear night sky, constellations twinkling above. A hatch opened with a loud clang and a man with pale skin and a broad figure stomped onto the deck, wearing multiple belts strung with blocks of lead and thick metal boots. With slow, laborious steps, the man walked to the edge of the boat, and cupping his hands skyward, basked in a cascade of starlight, which coalesced into a shell around him. After briefly checking the integrity of his armored suit, he sat on the railing and looked directly at me."

You say, ""They would ask forgiveness. We seek what is ours," he said as he rolled backwards, falling into the waters and sinking like a stone."

You say, "I watched the faint glow of his crystal-encased form vanish into the depths, blinking in confusion as the reflection of the stars above blossomed with novas, and the constellations skewed madly. The vision faded."

Elurora gazes thoughtfully at you.

You say, "That would appear to be a Trader making use of a new application of their ability to magically manipulate crystal."

Gwenddolyn says, "Basking in starlight seems like a Trader thing to do."

Tirost nods to you.

You say, "And there's a number of things that might be at the bottom of the sea to go looking for, though the numerous Grazhir shards down there are one of the first things that comes to my mind."

Nyctus darkly says, "Maybe the Traders are finally going to have to hold up their end of the bargain."

Nyctus chuckles.

Gwenddolyn nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.

You nod in understanding as Elurora fills you in on some of the obscure details of Alchemy you desperately need to know.

Elurora quietly says, "Seahorses that make you see colors..."

Elurora takes a sip of her milk.

Gwenddolyn says, "Perhaps a prediction that another will be found."

Nyctus snickers.

Gwenddolyn nods to you.

Apollys asks, "Who is they, that would ask for forgiveness?"

You say, "I'm not quite sure to make of what he said, though."

Apollys nods.

You say, "They would ask forgiveness. We week what is ours."

Gwenddolyn says, "The colors could be reflection off the grazhir shard."

You clear your throat.

You say, "We seek what is ours."

Nyctus darkly asks, "Well, there are some large pieces of Grazhir here on the Abiding but they're in the bottom of the ocean yes?"

You nod to Nyctus.

Nyctus darkly says, "Seems reasonable that a Trader's unique magical talents would be suitable to scout them out."

Gwenddolyn says, "I wonder which ship, interesting vision."

You say, "And a large number of small pieces, as well."

Nyctus nods.

Apollys ponders.

Elurora smiles at you as she patiently enlightens you further on the practice of Alchemy.

Zalinyar says, "It's very obviously a diver, with the lead . He's going down to retrieve a shard."

Nyctus darkly says, "I wonder what the Trader's Guild would want with them, though. Other than to sell them to us."

Nyctus chuckles.

Elurora furrows her brow.

You say, "The reactions of the stars could possibly be the Negotiants taking some offense, but they seem to have been quite capable of stopping Traders from messing with things they aren't supposed to."

Nyctus darkly says, "They lack the Confound to appopriately use them."

Apollys quietly asks himself, "Could they be used as sling ammunition, to teleport a moon mage inside of a target?"

Nyctus darkly says, "I'm rooting for the Negotiants."

Gwenddolyn grins at Nyctus, her dimples flashing into view.

Nyctus winks at Gwenddolyn.

Elurora takes a sip of her milk.

You say, "At any rate, it does seem like there is some danger involved in the retrieval of whatever he was going down there for, based on the reaction of the stars."

Nyctus darkly says, "I need to go into my thoughts for a tick, back soon."

Ezerak taps a curving bloodwood branch that he is holding.

Tirost nods.

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Gwenddolyn says, "I cannot imagine how hard it would be to recover a shard in the bottom of the ocean."

You say, "Judging from the equipment he had, the hard part would probably be finding the right spot."

Gwenddolyn asks, "Couldnt a moon mage sense it?"

Elurora gazes upward.

Imroth says, "'He seemed confident just flopping off the boat."

Asherasa nods to Imroth.

You say, "It might be possible to try some sort of triangulation, though you'd be working off vague feelings rather than specific directions."

Asherasa says, "That is a great deal of water."

Gwenddolyn asks, "Would it increase lunar mana?"

Nsar stands up.

Asherasa says, "Though if I were to interpret it like a dream, I might say that the ocean of darkness represents the vastness of unknown knowledge."

You nod to Asherasa.

Apollys says, "I cannot fathom a person outfitting a boat, discerning the magic, and devising an outfit to accomplish the task, without a fair amount of research into where he's planning to go and search first. That part is likely to be figured out first."

Nyctus darkly says, "Back."

You say, "Yes, if it's to be taken literally, I assume it's the culmination of a project that has gone on for some time."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Asherasa says, "The man seeks knowledge. But his journey to it will change the constellations -- the knowledge he already has."

Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum.

Asherasa shrugs.

You say, "So, that was it for the new visions, but there was a request to bring up this one from the last meeting."

Betlind bows.

You say, "I smelled wildflowers and baked earth and found myself standing on an open grassy steppe. A man bent over and pared bolls of fiber from a strange bush using a short harvesting blade. Packing the dense fiber into a gathering satchel, the man wiped his hands on a canvas apron and stood stiffly, stretching his back with a grimace. The man walked over to a heavily laden ox and packed the last load of fiber into the animal's large saddlebags. Adjusting the breeching straps, the man gave the ox a friendly pat and scratch, and the pair began to slowly make their way towards the distant tree-line as the sun began to set."

You say, "As the light faded, the field of bushes opened silvery-white blossoms which glowed faintly and released a sharp fragrance. The man wrapped a thick scarf around his mouth and adjusted a leather muzzle over the ox's snout. After some time, the brightness from the bushes outshone the stars, and the vision faded."

You say, "That one seems like it might be literal, involving the harvesting of some apparently dangerous plant."

Imroth nods.

Zalinyar nods to you.

Gwenddolyn says, "Yes that reminds me of something in my notes from awhile back."

Elurora takes a sip of her milk.

Zalinyar says, "Gwen actually spoke of that before, at a meeting."

Elurora smiles at you as she patiently enlightens you further on the practice of Alchemy.

Apollys gazes upward.

Ruea smiles.

You ask, "Oh? Perhaps some hint to what kind of plants those might be?"

Gwenddolyn says, "Yes, I had figured it out."

Zalinyar says, "Maybe to the one harvesting."

Elurora quietly says, "Theyy sound like moonflowers, but I don't think those are dangerous."

Gwenddolyn says, "It was a toxic fiber."

Gwenddolyn says, "I will have to look thru my notes and find it."

You nod.

Nyctus ponders.

Gwenddolyn says, "It could be Imperial weave."

Gwenddolyn says, "They found a huge supply in Throne City that was hidden."

Tirost raises an eyebrow in Gwenddolyn's direction.

You hear a voice ask, "Are not oxen and harvests symbols of Truffenyi?"

Gwenddolyn says, "Back during Imperial times."

You say, "Somebody recovering the ability to craft Imperial weave would certainly be significant."

Gwenddolyn says, "That is an idea too, could be right."

Gwenddolyn says, "The oxen."

Apollys says, "I don't know that I'm particularly concerned about what he was harvesting, rather, that he was protecting himself from the bushes when the light faded."

Tirost frowns thoughtfully.

Elurora says, "The oxen too."

You say, "Yes, it seems like the plants are probably dangerous at night."

Gwenddolyn says, "The flowers open and night is what it said."

Gwenddolyn says, "The fragrance."

You nod.

Elurora says, "Or maybe he just gets sneezy around flowers."

Elurora grins.

Tirost says, "I must take my leave. Thank you, Miskton."

Zalinyar asks, "The poison, the sisters?"

Zalinyar peers quizzically at Gwenddolyn.

Mistanna waves to Tirost.

Tirost says, "Good to see you all. Take care."

Asherasa nods politely to Tirost.

Tirost bows.

You nod politely to Tirost.

Imroth nods to Tirost.

Tirost says to Briaen, "And thank you for the class, Briaen."

Tirost nods to Asherasa.

Apollys takes a bite of the creampuff.

You ask, "And that covers what I had prepared for this meeting. Does anybody have any questions, or other things they would like to discuss?"

Ayrell smiles at Ezerak.

Asherasa says, "I have dreamed of other things, but I do not know if you would find them interesting."

Asherasa nods to you.

Gwenddolyn says to you, "If I find my notes, I will let you know."

You nod to Gwenddolyn.

You say to Asherasa, "If you frequently experience intense dreams that can be remembered on waking, there could be something of importance there."

Gwenddolyn says, "Thanks for the rift."

You hear a voice say, "Perhaps, for you lot to consider...moon mages are not the only ones that receive visions."

Gwenddolyn glances outside a moment.

The clear pool of water soaks into the ground, leaving no trace of its presence.

You hear an ominous voice say, "You sense a thousand eyes gazing upon your efforts, but they are quickly overwhelmed and closed as a haze of smoky blood-mist thickens in the area, threatening to choke you with every breath. Countless razor-lined maws open in the mist, ever devouring, quaking in uniform rage and anticipation of sinking teeth into you...into everything."

Zalinyar says, "V."

You hear an ominous voice say, "Always planning, always plotting. You blink away the feeling as the cold grasp on your center relaxes, and the illusions that hung in the air disappear."

You hear a voice say, "A vision I have received."

Asherasa says to you, "I do. Although I have no guarantee that there is anything more meaningful than a moment of fancy."

Apollys nods politely to Elurora.

Zalinyar says, "Lenizhir is the one."

Zalinyar nods to Gwenddolyn.

You say, "Yes, there are other ways in which visions can be experienced. Putting aside simple dreams or those inspired by drugs, people may experience them by being contacted by an extraplanar being."

You say, "In some cases the Immortals will do so. But other entities will as well."

Gwenddolyn says, "Yes I mentioned Morganae's twin last night."

Ezerak peers quizzically at Gwenddolyn.

Asherasa says, "Yes. I do wonder how much the gods touch our minds."

Zalinyar says, "Who collected the poison."

Zalinyar says, "It matches the vision."

Gwenddolyn says, "Yes Lenizhir is Morganae's twin."

Zalinyar says to Gwenddolyn, "Our research."

Ayrell ponders.

Asherasa says to you, "In any case, if you are interested in hearing my dreams, I would be happy to share."

Elurora takes a sip of her milk.

Gwenddolyn says to you, "Thanks again."

Zalinyar smiles at you, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

You say to Asherasa, "If you have a number of them to share, it might be ideal if you could write something down. Or we could speak later."

Mistanna says to you, "Thank you for hosting the meeting, I appreciate them."

Asherasa says, "Of course."

Asherasa bows her head, acknowledging you.

Nyctus stands up.

Ezerak asks, "What of Her Majesty's brother?"

Genshun bows to you.

Genshun says to you, "Thank you for having these meetings."

Imroth bows to you.

Nyctus darkly says to you, "Thank you for organizing this. It was my first time attending and it was quite enlightening."

You say, "As for that vision of eyes and maws... That does sound like some of the more unpleasant things I've experienced in my visions."

Imroth says, "Aye, thank you for sharing your visions."

You say, "Though possibly this one came from a bit closer to the source."

You hear someone chuckling.

You nod politely to Nyctus.

Zalinyar takes off a cracked sandstone orb embedded with amethysts.

Asherasa says, "Whatever it is, it sounds hungry."

You hear a voice say to you, "It represented two different entities."

Elurora flashes a quick grin at Ezerak.

You hear a voice say, "Or a multitude and another."

Zalinyar asks, "Or another, and a multitude?"

Zalinyar shrugs.

Zalinyar takes a sip of her rum.

Elurora takes a sip of her milk.

You say, "So, yes, thank you all for coming."
