You exclaim, "Okay, I think we can probably get started!"

Ezerak says to Ayrell, "Thank you, love."

Darkewolff nods to you.

Ayrell says to Ezerak, "Of course."

You say, "Thank you all for coming. There's a number of visions to talk about this evening."

You say, "I think, perhaps, I'll start with the one that seems to be least clear, at least to me."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Ryeka nods.

Anuril gazes at you.

You say, "A pair of children played in the ocean surf, giggling and splashing in the cold waters. Leaping into the waves, the children got tossed as they bounced along the seagrass and tumbled chaotically, coming to the surface with bits of seaweed sticking in their hair and laughing uproariously. In the distance, a spectral ship glimmered along the horizon, several more ships appearing with the vanguard on the approach. The children did not seem to react. As the ships continued to sail towards the coast, they turned, a tight formation of wavering ships with no visible crew, cutting a line across the distant waters. The children did not even glance at the fleet. After some time, the ships passed, the children continued to play, and the vision faded."

Tekhelet leans against a serving table borne on legs that look like a black fox.

Xinphinity ponders.

Aislynn squints.

You say, "There is, of course, a fleet that has recently been on people's minds, after the events at Basalt Isle."

Ezerak says, "Quite the turnout this time."

Ryeka acts puzzled.

Dantia nods to you.

You say, "However, the ships in the vision appeared themselves to be spectral, and I saw no signs of crew, undead or otherwise."

Tirost nods to you.

Zalinyar ponders.

You say, "The points that particularly stand out are that the ships seemed to be moving with purpose, and were being ignored by the children playing."

Xelten matter-of-factly says, "Perhaps they cannot see ghosts."

Ryeka asks, "The children couldn't see it?"

Xinphinity quietly says, "Perhaps they do not fear the arrival of what tidings the ship may bring."

You say, "It seems possible they couldn't see the ships, as they didn't seem to react at all."

Tirost takes a sip of his brandy.

Kethrai says, "I think it's more likely they couldn't see them. Children would look up and point at ships arriving, even if they didn't fear them."

Ivoiry nods at Kethrai, obviously agreeing with his views.

Elurora takes a sip of her milk.

Ryeka ponders.

Ryeka says, "It's not like there's a lack of sunken ships."

Dantia asks, "Perhaps we are the children? Oblivious to the threat that we should see right there?"

Aislynn quietly says, "Perhaps, without crew, or solid sails to catch the wind, they make no sound. Easy to miss a silent ship, even a fleet."

You say, "It's also unclear what the ships were actually doing, in sailing toward the coast and then suddenly turning to one side. But they were doing it in tight formation, at least."

Gridaksma says, "It could be more abstract that the children don't care about the changing tides as those who pilot ships with purpose."

Ezerak says to Dantia, "Possible."

You say to Dantia, "That is one interpretation that jumped to mind, though I'd hope it's not the right one."

Ezerak nods at Dantia, obviously agreeing with her views.

Anuril nods at Dantia, obviously agreeing with her views.

Dantia gives a slight nod.

Xinphinity quietly says, "The children were being washed by the surf, they would have been turned this way and that."

Xinphinity quietly asks, "They either could not see it, or perhaps were unable to see at all?"

Aislynn gazes intently into her sanowret crystal, and scintillating sparks of light dance across its surface.

Ryeka smiles at Comfrin, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Kintryn smiles at Comfrin.

Tirost says, "If it is a warning of an unseen enemy, those portents are the most difficult to receive, as they seem only to unsettle without offering a path of action."

Kethrai says to you, "The description you gave does sound very... militaristic. A vanguard on approach. Tight formation."

Comfrin smiles at Kintryn.

You nod to Kethrai.

Tekhelet asks, "Could the fact that there's tow of them be significant?"

Ivoiry nods to Kethrai.

Kethrai asks, "More than two, there were several of them?"

You say, "Almost anything could be significant, which can make focusing on what actually is tricky."

You say to Kethrai, "Several ships, but two children."

Tekhelet says, "Well at leas more than one then."

Kethrai says, "Ah..."

Dantia says, "Their playing in the water reminded me of our time spent on Andreshlew recently, perhaps too distracted by our festivities to pay attention to a threat just off our coast."

You say, "The ships did turn off from their approach, so it could be some near miss with danger that will go unnoticed."

You take a sip of the brandy. Warm and subtle. Faint overtones of oak and apple.

Ryeka says, "There is a beach near Crossing that children are rather fond of. I've seen them there a few times."

Anuril nods to Dantia.

Ruea smiles.

Ezerak waves to Ruea.

Ayrell smiles at Ruea.

Whitney raises an eyebrow in Ryeka's direction.

Ayrell hugs Ruea, getting a smile in return.

Ryeka smiles at Ruea, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Ruea waves to Ezerak.

Ruea hugs Ayrell, who wraps her arms around Ruea with a warm smile.

You nod politely to Ruea.

Ezerak just hugged Ruea.

Whitney asks Ryeka, "What beach?"

Ruea smiles at you.

Ryeka says, "The one near the clubhouse."

You say, "Hard to tie the vision to a particular location, other than on the coast, of course."

Kethrai says to Ryeka, "It's on the river, though. There aren't ocean waves, and you can't see to the horizon over the water."

Ryeka says, "Southeast from the bridge."

Ryeka nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.

Eyst says, "An interesting permutation of the concept of a ghost ship. The fleet rather sounds slightly less than real. Out of step with the rest of the scene and thus ignored."

Ruea hugs Kaelie, who wraps her arms around Ruea with a warm smile.

Elurora gazes upward.

Elurora takes a sip of her milk.

Anuril gets a cocobolo pipe with the bowl carved in a visage of Hodierna from inside his farandine mantle.

Anuril opens his tobacco pouch.

Tekhelet asks, "Is there a place that has two of something?"

Anuril gets some Riverhaven Red tobacco from inside his tobacco pouch.

Kethrai takes a sip of his coffee.

Aislynn rolls her tail along the surface of the ground.

Anuril closes his tobacco pouch.

Anuril touches some Riverhaven Red tobacco with a glowing finger, and it quickly catches fire.

Anuril puts his tobacco in his cocobolo pipe.

Kethrai asks Tekhelet, "Aesry? The Sentinels?"

Darkewolff taps a two-toned lockpick ring with a wolf's head clasp that he is wearing.

Anuril puffs away on his cocobolo pipe.

Comfrin says, "The swap had the stones. There's two of them."

Comfrin says, "Swamp."

Anuril glances at you.

Tirost takes a sip of his brandy.

Anuril squints at you.

Anuril asks you, "Pardon, is that normal?"

Ryeka says, "And the swamp is by Haven- which is a coastal town."

You ask Anuril, "Hmm?"

Elizzibiana chuckles.

(Anuril points at Miskton's shadow)

Zalinyar grins at Darkewolff, her dimples flashing into view.

Elizzibiana nods to Anuril.

You say, "Ah."

Ryeka takes a sip of her coffee.

A faint growl echoes from the depths of your shadow as the shadowling bound to it returns to whence it came.

Aislynn chortles softly at some secret joke.

You say, "There, sorry about that."

Anuril says, "Sorry, keeping my eye out for shadows today."

Anuril bows.

Elizzibiana says to Anuril something in S'Kra.

Tirost flashes a quick grin at Anuril.

Dantia grins at Anuril.

Ryeka takes a sip of her coffee.

Elizzibiana coughs.

Elizzibiana says to Anuril, "Shadowling."

Anuril nods to Elizzibiana.

Elizzibiana snickers.

You say, "Now, let's see..."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Dantia smiles at Comfrin.

You say, "With the next vision, I think I have an idea of the subject, though the greater meaning might be a bit trickier."

Ryeka takes a sip of her coffee.

Comfrin nods to Dantia.

Ezerak chuckles.

Ezerak waves to Navesi.

Ryeka smiles at Navesi, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Kintryn smiles at Ruea.

Aislynn makes a chirring noise in Navesi's direction.

Navesi nods politely.

Whitney takes a sip of her coffee.

You say, "A man dressed in deep blue robes walked down a dusty road, making for a small outpost of a handful of stalls selling various local goods and wares. Stopping a short distance from the nearest tent, the man closed his eyes and breathed deeply, bending down to place a hand on the ground. The dirt cracked, and a shimmering ethereal sapling began to rise, reaching for the sky as it unfurled wavering leaves and fragrant flowers. After a short while, the sapling had grown into a young tree, and the man continued on past the outpost down the road."

Kintryn nods politely to Navesi.

You say, "The tree remained, and a small child approached, touching its thin trunk. Face flushing, the child laughed, and ran off to play. The vision faded."

Kethrai says, "So many visions of children..."

You say, "That seems very much like the Empath spell Circle of Sympathy."

Whitney nods to Kethrai.

Dantia closes her eyes and settles into a graceful stance.

Dantia nods.

Ayrell gives Navesi a formal hug, pressing first her right cheek, then her left, against Navesi's.

Madigan says, "I like this vision."

Madigan smiles warmly.

Whitney says, "The land reminds me of Muspar'i."

Dantia says, "Blue is also the Empath Guild color, sapphire to be exact."

You say, "A similar figure also appeared in another vision a brief while back."

Anuril asks you, "Is this the same man who was waylaid on his journey in an earlier vision, and defeated his foes unarmed?"

Anuril nods to you.

You say, "A man dressed in sapphire blue linen robes walked on a well traveled path through an open field, waist high grass on either side as far as the eye could see. Suddenly, a trio of bandits rose from the grass snickering as they approached with daggers drawn and a bow drawn. The man stopped and calmly inhaled slowly. One of the bandits stepped forward and reached for the man's bag, but the man exploded into action driving his index finger into the meat of the bandit's shoulder. The bandit grunted in surprise, the dagger clattering to the ground and his arm fell to his side limp. A second bandit charged, and the robed man side stepped and quickly jabbed the bandit twice in the neck. The aggressor fell to the ground, breathing, but otherwise unmoving. Firing an arrow at the robed man, the third bandit's shot went wide. The man smiled at the archer and continued down the path, leaving the bandit to his friends as they slowly regained control of their bodies. The vision faded."

Kintryn ponders.

Ryeka ponders.

Dantia says to you, "This reminds me of the series of visions about the Empath in blue and her alfar. She fought in a similar manner."

Ryeka exclaims, "Silly bandits!"

You say, "So apparently an Empath skilled in both magic and combat, and on a journey of some sort."

Eyst nods at Dantia, obviously agreeing with her views.

Whitney grins at Ryeka.

You nod to Dantia.

Ryeka grins at Whitney, her dimples flashing into view.

Tekhelet nods to Gridaksma.

Whitney takes a sip of her coffee.

Ryeka takes a sip of her coffee.

Tirost nods to Navesi.

Kaelie takes a sip of her champagne.

Elurora takes a sip of her milk.

Dantia says, "All people are born with an innate sense of Empathy, which is why it makes sense that a child could interact with a Circle of Sympathy tree, and feel 'flushed'."

Tirost smiles at Navesi.

Kethrai nods at Dantia, obviously agreeing with her views.

Whitney nods at Dantia, obviously agreeing with her views.

Navesi nods to Dantia.

Aislynn nods in agreement.

Tirost smiles at Kaelie.

Navesi nods politely to Madigan.

Madigan smiles at Navesi.

Anuril puffs away on his cocobolo pipe.

Madigan bows to Navesi.

Navesi smiles at Madigan.

Dantia says, "It will be interesting to see where this man may be headed, if he is going someplace specific. Perhaps it will refererence the other visions eventually."

Kethrai asks, "Was the location of the earlier vision identified?"

You nod to Dantia.

Whitney nods.

Kethrai says, "Waist-high grass as far as the eye can see, reminds me of the area around Horse Clan."

You say, "Perhaps he is following up on something related to that other Empath and the alfar."

Tirost nods to Kethrai.

Ryeka ponders.

Whitney takes a sip of her coffee.

Kethrai says, "Horse Clan, about as far southwest as you can go. Muspar'i, about as far northwest."

Tekhelet folds his arms across his chest.

Navesi says, "Perhaps he is simply a teacher, someone who will bring wisdom that changes us."

Cryle asks Kethrai, "Would it be pleasing if this method of combat was taught to your guild?"

You say, "He does seem to have useful skills, that he perhaps might be willing to instruct people on."

Dantia says, "I did a lot of research on that series of visions, and my best guess was the Aried Steppe at first, followed by the Himineldar Shel mountain range."

Zalinyar says, "He seems to move with purpose in that vision."

Kethrai says to Cryle, "It would certainly be useful. It seems like a nonlethal way to disable living threats."

Dantia says, "Arid Steppe, that is."

Tirost asks Dantia, "Are the robed man's actions towards the bandit in the earlier vision consistent with the abilities of an Empath?"

Tirost chuckles at Kaelie.

Tirost nods to Kaelie.

Ivoiry asks, "He seems to be a most interesting man. With a mission and something to impart?"

Cryle says, "I would hope if such came to pass, such teachings would not be limited solely to empaths."

Dantia says to Tirost, "I also researched this type of fighting, and although they seem to be doing something very trained and specialized, I don't find it incredibly different than a form of brawling."

Kaelie gently kisses Tirost on the cheek.

Nsar says to Cryle, "Empath leaders are well known for their willingness to share knowledge, have no fear."

Tirost smiles at Kaelie.

Ryeka ponders.

Tirost nods to Dantia.

Aislynn begins chortling at Nsar.

Elurora glances at Nsar.

Aislynn coughs.

Xelten smirks.

Kethrai coughs.

You take a sip of the brandy. Warm and subtle. Faint overtones of oak and apple.

Whitney grins at Nsar.

Tekhelet blinks.

Ruea raises an eyebrow.

Ryeka says, "I've known a few empaths who could dance circles around critters- and then grab them, spin them around, and shove them clear across the dell."

Ryeka says, "It was funny too."

Tirost grins at Ryeka.

Whitney nods to Ryeka.

Ryeka takes a sip of her coffee.

Dantia smiles at Madigan.

Ryeka takes a sip of her coffee.

You say, "It's possible that an Empath's abilities might be useful for finding the spots to disable a person without, apparently, causing them serious harm."

Darkewolff smiles at Zalinyar.

Tirost quietly says, "Some empaths throw very dangerous grimoires..."

Ivoiry says, "Aye, I am well know to hoist folks twice me size over the knolls."

Tirost glances at Dantia.

Dantia nods to you.

Dantia grins at Tirost.

Madigan grins at Tirost.

Ryeka grins at Tirost, her dimples flashing into view.

Anuril takes a long drag off of his cocobolo pipe.

Elurora says to Tirost, "You're the only one I've seen throw a book."

Aislynn gazes intently into her sanowret crystal, and scintillating sparks of light dance across its surface.

Ryeka winks.

Navesi chortles softly at some secret joke.

Tirost smiles at Elurora.

Elurora quietly says, "It's probably not very good for the book."

Navesi clears her throat.

Tirost says to Elurora, "Turns out I am not alone."

Darkewolff asks, "Any other visions?"

Xinphinity stands up.

Xinphinity winces.

Navesi seriously says, "Please, be kind to books."

You nod to Darkewolff.

You say, "Yes, there's still several to go."

Nsar takes a sip of his sherry.

Navesi says, "If you must throw one, make it a bad one."

Tirost sincerely says to Navesi, "I swear, it's no ordinary book."

Anuril is gnawing on his pipe.

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Navesi nods to Tirost.

Dantia nods to Madigan.

Ivoiry grins at Navesi.

Xelten searches around for a moment.

Darkewolff says, "Please, continue."

Madigan blinks at Dantia.

Ryeka grins at Navesi, her dimples flashing into view.

Madigan whistles low.

You say, "The next vision features some figures who have been seen in a number of visions for some time now, the defenders in golden plate."

Madigan leans forward.

Whitney grins.

You say, "Everything flickered, the fabric of reality rent, and an oppressive darkness crushed around me. A faintly lit semi-circular basalt stairwell stood before me, several shallow steps rising to a featureless rock face. I could see nothing else in the gloom."

Zalinyar grins at Madigan, her dimples flashing into view.

You say, "The sound of stone grinding on stone, a deep rumble in the distance, and a faint tremor passed."

Ryeka nods.

You say, "A strong hand grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back, as a squad of massive figures in golden plate ran forward, forming a shield wall, their spears aimed towards the stone wall. The tremor intensified, and flecks clattered across the steps."

Elurora gazes at you.

Ryeka ponders.

You say, "A thin crack ran up the face, and countless fingers squirmed their way through, grasping and pulling, forcing the seam wider and wider. Hundreds of hands reached outward, scraping along the face, leaving burning white handprints along the rock, and the crack grew larger and larger."

Kethrai frowns.

You say, "One of the gold plate wearing figures looked back at me and grinned, and the vision faded."

Whitney says, "Jaysus."

Ezerak says, "The gold plate again."

You nod.

Tirost nods to Ezerak.

You say, "They seem to be doing a bit better than in the last vision, though the hands in this one probably hadn't fully started their attack."

Zalinyar says, "Might be Corik's wall and the dark hand."

Whitney takes a sip of her coffee.

Briaen taps a heretic black sanowret crystal that he is wearing.

Briaen gazes intently into his sanowret crystal, and scintillating sparks of light dance across its surface.

Whitney asks, "Perhaps escaping from a castle?"

Zalinyar says, "Why would they grin at you though."

Anuril says, "This vision occurred after Basalt Isle? A basalt stair, an ascent to a barricade, a rent with things trying to get through, paladins resisting them, it seems very... familiar."

Whitney nods to Zalinyar.

Ryeka says, "Maybe they're going in to attack."

Whitney says, "True."

Kethrai nods at Anuril, obviously agreeing with his views.

Xelten asks, "Had we not decided that is the Bulwark holding back what lies beyond?"

You say to Zalinyar, "Possibly they enjoy their task."

Kethrai says to Anuril, "I was thinking just that."

Eyst asks, "I'm always struck by the fact they grin and smile. Despite the horrific situations they seem to enjoy what they're doing, don't they?"

You hear a voice say, "Probably not Coriks, unless its made out of basalt."

Gridaksma says, "Warriors often smile in the face of death, when among their brothers."

You say to Xelten, "That has been my thought, that these figures are related in some way to the Bulwark."

Ryeka nods to Gridaksma.

Whitney asks, "Or they are certain they are about to win?"

Tirost asks, "Is it possible the figures in golden plate are representatives of Sanyu Aes and the Bulwark?"

Whitney says, "Or are escaping from something."

Elurora says, "Near Emille's fake tomb, there is a wheel that shows parts of her life. In one of them she points toward a mountain asking her father to build her a home there. I wonder if it's something we haven't found yet, but are meant to."

Elurora shifts her weight.

Cryle says, "A hero may smile to reassure those who require it."

Whitney says, "Like we are finally out of this place."

Gridaksma gives Elurora a slight nod.

Madigan nods to Cryle.

Zalinyar nods.

You say, "For reference, the previous vision featuring them, though there have been a number before that..."

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

You say, "Everything flickered, the fabric of reality rent, and a miasmatic wind reeking of rot and solvent billowed across my face. The ground erupted into a mass of yowling multi-limbed bodies, skittering with fin and tentacle. The mass rushed forward in vile joy. A massive figure in golden plate grabbed my hand and pulled me behind a shield line, a row of golden plate-clad figures bracing against interlocking shields and pointing long spears forward. A moment later, the mass struck the shield wall, which did not yield. As the air filled with the sounds of combat, one by one, the shield bearers began to fall, the line tightening and curling back to protect me, until it was a ring, and still the mass continued the onslaught."

Kethrai says, "Or whosever eyes the vision is... Is someone the golden plated ones are happy to see."

You say, "One of the figures grunted as a tentacle lashed across his helm. He turned a bloodied face to me and grinned in the brief moment before he was pulled into the mass and torn to pieces. The vision faded."

Kethrai asks, "Someone who could help them or turn the tide of battle?"

Nsar smiles.

Nsar takes a sip of his sherry.

Whitney takes a sip of her coffee.

You say, "They seem to be doing better in the current vision, but it also seems it may be a different opponent."

Madigan taps an indurium phoenix with eyes of canary diamond that he is holding.

Ryeka ponders.

Whitney nods.

You say, "In the latest visions, the things that they are fighting seem to be a bit more distinct from vision to vision."

Tirost says, "It is hard for me to interpret the mass of limbs as something other than the place into which Zauldin was cast."

Dantia grins at Kaelie.

Briaen gazes intently into his sanowret crystal, and scintillating sparks of light dance across its surface.

Gridaksma says, "Perhaps they have more allies as the truth comes to light."

Whitney raises an eyebrow in Tirost's direction.

You say, "Twisted creatures with fins and tentacles in the previous one, many hands that leaving burning white prints on stone in the current."

Whitney nods to Gridaksma.

Aislynn glances at Tirost.

Aislynn clicks her claws together.

Ryeka ponders.

Zalinyar nods to Tirost.

Kethrai says, "The kraken we faced on the way to the Isle was a twisted creature with fins and tentacles."

Elurora quietly says, "If visions are not meant to be literal, we could maybe be seeing things from Syal's point of view. Assuming you subcribe to the theory that he isn't quite dead."

Ryeka nods to Kethrai.

Tirost gazes thoughtfully at Elurora.

Whitney nods to Elurora.

Anuril says, "Fins and tentacles also remind me of the merelew cultists who invaded the crossing recently."

Tirost says to Elurora, "I keep thinking about what Betlind said..."

Gridaksma grins at Elurora.

You say, "For the current vision, I have the feeling that the burning white handprints might be important, but I'm not immediately aware of something that might be related to such a symbol."

Ezerak taps a curving bloodwood branch that he is holding.

Elurora glances at Tirost.

Dantia nods to you.

Dantia says to you, "That's what I've been trying to think through."

Ryeka ponders.

Navesi nods to you.

Elurora says to Tirost, "Most of what she said, has been said by myself and others before she did in the meeting."

Gridaksma gazes off into the distance.

Fugo says, "The hands leaving the burned marks on the stone might be manifestations of a magic spell in progress rather than the entities intent on crossing the threshold."

Tirost nods to Elurora.

Elurora flashes a quick grin at Whitney.

Whitney grins at Elurora.

Xelten searches around for a moment.

Dantia grins at Kaelie.

Gridaksma says, "Builders leave marks on stones to prove their work, perhaps if this is the bullwark you speak of, it is the sign of people who helped build the wall, their handprint on history."

Whitney nods to Gridaksma.

Kintryn nods to Kaelie.

Tirost nods to Gridaksma.

Kintryn smiles.

Kethrai takes a sip of his coffee.

Tirost says to Gridaksma, "That is the direction I am thinking as well."

Navesi quietly says, "Or perhaps it means that the creatures beyond will indelibly damage our own plane by their very touch, their very existence here."

Whitney nods.

Briaen gazes intently into his sanowret crystal, and scintillating sparks of light dance across its surface.

Anuril nods to Navesi.

Tirost nods to Navesi.

Madigan says, "Just so."

Navesi smiles at you as she patiently enlightens you further on the practice of Athletics.

Anuril says, "It is an echo of the Basalt Isle invasion."

Anuril shrugs.

Comfrin asks, "What stone mason do you know that has the pwer to burn a mark in stone?"

Darkewolff nods at Zalinyar, obviously agreeing with her views.

Tirost says to Navesi, "The laws of our plane certainly seemed to constrain or repel them on the Basalt Isle."

Navesi nods to Tirost.

Kintryn ponders.

Gridaksma says, "Who says it is proper stone, or simple masons? Paladin souls burn brightly, and there are stones that respond to their touch."

Navesi says, "But if they were through fully, not blocked by our golden protectors, who knows what damage they could do."

Tirost asks, "And if Betlind is right about the dark flecks, what about the light in a Paladin's soul?"

Darkewolff nods to Zalinyar.

Elurora glances at Tirost.

Navesi asks, "Dame Betlind has a theory about the dark flecks?"

Tirost says to you, "'Tis an interesting vision, beyond doubt."

Kintryn nods to you.

Tirost nods to Navesi.

Kaelie says, "Perhaps there is something, someone that has a conduit through planes that lead to this one that can perhaps free them."

Dantia asks, "In reviewing the vision again, I realize it's not made clear which direction the wall is being clawed at. Are the hands tearing it down from our side, or are the things on the other side trying to claw their way out to us?"

Ryeka ponders.

Elurora says to Navesi, "It is not her theory, but yes. We have the theory that it is related to The Bonding."

Kethrai says to Dantia, "I read it as the latter. Hands reaching out from the crack, trying to claw their way further out."

Dantia nods to Kethrai.

Navesi nods to Elurora.

You say, "The figures in plate all seemed to be standing in line, spears held up and pointed toward the wall, with the hands appearing from within the wall."

Dantia says, "I did too, tearing it down. But I just noted it wasn't made entirely clear."

Kaelie says to Tirost, "Trapped in one plane on Basalt, having to slog through planes to find one that is open."

Navesi says to Elurora, "That makes sense, and fits with my own hypothesis about the Bonding, I think."

Tirost nods to Kaelie.

Navesi says, "I'd like to hear more sometime."

Dantia says, "Also interesting that it's hands, and not tentacles and fins."

Dantia chuckles.

Navesi nods at Dantia, obviously agreeing with her views.

Tirost quietly says to Navesi, "I'd like to hear your thoughts on it when you hear it."

Whitney nods to Dantia.

Navesi says, "Yes, you've hit it. That's the strange point."

Dantia says, "Doesn't seem like it's creatures, but people or at least humanoids."

You nod to Dantia.

Cryle twitches.

Navesi nods to Tirost.

Elurora says to Navesi, "You are welcome to join us at a Truthseeker meeting. I am sure we'd like to hear your theory as well."

Navesi nods to Elurora.

You say, "There may be some clues to the natures of different extraplanar beings in these visions."

You take a sip of the brandy.

Tirost glances at Nsar.

Nsar takes a sip of his sherry.

Kethrai takes a sip of his coffee.

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Zalinyar grins at Darkewolff, her dimples flashing into view.

Dantia grins at Madigan.

Anuril taps a cocobolo pipe with the bowl carved in a visage of Hodierna that he is holding.

Dantia nods to Madigan.

Darkewolff smiles at Zalinyar.

Kaelie asks you, "The other extraplanar beings would provide false information and give visions of what could have been, what is, what will be. Or something like that?"

Tekhelet leans against a serving table borne on legs that look like a black fox.

Tekhelet takes a bite of the crocodile.

Tirost scratches his storm-grey cat.

Ryeka says, "Not all extraplanar beings are friendly to us, you know."

Ryeka smiles wryly.

You say to Kaelie, "In this case, I mean more that there seems to be a difference between things like the multi-limbed creatures with tentacles and fins, versus what could only be seen as a mass of hands."

Dantia takes off a platinum twelve-pointed star charm with tiny diamond accents.

Whitney nods to Ryeka.

Navesi nods to you.

Dantia inhales sharply. Though there is no apparent physical change to her, she seems more aloof.

You turn a page in your astronomer's journal.

Kaelie says, "You would have to be pretty certain that what you are shown is where you belong. And I imagine with convincing enough visions it could make someone need help to know what is true to them."

Dantia takes a deep breath, looking serene and determined.

Ryeka nods to Kaelie.

You say to Kaelie, "With enough visions being shown frequently enough, yes, it could certainly become a problem."

Whitney nods to you.

Elurora fixes Tirost with a serene, lofty stare.

Cryle shifts uneasily, gazing fixedly at her claws.

You say, "I have two more visions to discuss this evening... Since we're already talking about other planes, I suppose I'll stick to that subject."

Gridaksma raises an eyebrow.

Kaelie says to you, "Of course. I'm just thinking out loud. Your visions give no real obvious answers for us just a guide."

Anuril peers quizzically at you.

Tekhelet takes a bite of the crocodile.

You say, "I have seen another vision that appears to be related to the Plane of Electricity and Zengmodaleth."

Whitney gnaws on her lip.

Tekhelet shifts his weight.

Whitney asks, "Eh?"

Ryeka peers quizzically at you.

You say, "My mouth filled with the taste of copper, and I found myself standing in a large open structure. Custodians moved around me rapidly, rushing between complex machinery and organized piles of crackling materials and components. At the center of the area, resting atop a raised platform and covered by large cranes and contraptions, lay a massive mechanical head and torso. Empty eye sockets gazed upward, and a missing lower jaw revealed a forest of pistons and coiling wires along the neck. The torso terminated below the breastbone, and several custodians crawled around the inside of the partial ribcage, welding and adjusting."

You say, "Suddenly all the custodians stopped and turned to me, flashing red, green, red, yellow, and began to advance. The vision faded."

Anuril blinks.

Elurora frowns at Tirost.

Kaelie whispers something to Anuril.

Eyst says, "Well that's interesting."

Aislynn ponders.

You say, "They appear to be building something... large."

Kethrai says, "Red, green, red, yellow. These colors again."

Anuril nods to Kethrai.

Navesi nods to Kethrai.

Kintryn nods to Kethrai.

Ryeka ponders.

Navesi says, "I should mention that we will be conducting another experiment there soon."

Tekhelet asks, "We never diciphered the colers?"

Elurora pointedly ignores Tirost.

Anuril shakes his head at Tekhelet.

Kintryn says to Navesi, "I would be interested when you do."

Navesi says, "Those interested in research are welcome to join."

Tirost quietly says, "Thank the gods."

Navesi nods to Kintryn.

Tirost smiles at Navesi.

Aislynn gazes intently into her sanowret crystal, and scintillating sparks of light dance across its surface.

Zalinyar says, "Good heavens they're building a metal giant to come kill us next."

Navesi says, "We've placed a notice on the public calendar."

Dantia says, "I think we've all decided that they use those colored lights to communicate, but it's anyones guess who to deciper it."

Kaelie whispers something to Dantia.

Kintryn nods.

Dantia says, "How to decipher, that is."

You say, "The exact meaning of the colors has not been deciphered, but red, green, red, yellow does seem to be rather unfriendly, at least."

Dantia grins at Kaelie.

Ezerak nods at Dantia, obviously agreeing with her views.

Tekhelet asks, "Could it represent an immortal?"

Ryeka says, "I don't think so- But I could be wrong."

Ruea smiles.

Ryeka smiles at Tekhelet, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Dantia quietly says to Kaelie, "I think we're going to fight a giant construct."

Dantia grins at Kaelie.

Kintryn shudders.

Ezerak chuckles.

You say, "Since the custodians themselves are constructs, I imagine what they're building is something that operates on similar principles, but a larger scale."

Zalinyar grins at Dantia, her dimples flashing into view.

Kintryn smiles at Dantia.

Tekhelet says to Dantia, "Well then I know what type of spell not to use on the dang thing."

Tekhelet mutters to himself.

Dantia grins at Tekhelet.

Dantia pats Tekhelet on the back.

Gridaksma says, "Or we can stop invading their plane. We do seem unkind to those who do the same to ours."

Kaelie quietly says to Dantia, "Or a gnome that found it's way through the mental maze of planes to jump into that construct."

Dantia gazes at Kaelie.

Aislynn gazes upward.

Dantia quietly says, "That would be problematic. And very like her."

Tirost says to you, "This color sequence seemed to bring an act of aggression, where that of the previous vision brought a positive response."

Zalinyar says, "I recall during a quest early in my years with my guild, that there was a construct of sorts with colored buttons that you had to push in a particular pattern or else it would kill you. Mayve its a code that we will need later on."

Eyst says to Tekhelet, "I think that's an interesting thought. It certainly must be important that this grand project of theirs is in the form of a person."

Ryeka nods.

Whitney raises an eyebrow in Zalinyar's direction.

Kaelie says to Dantia, "She does have a history of ganking whatever vessel could get her free and clear. It's the very definition of pirate."

Dantia nods at Kaelie, obviously agreeing with her views.

Tekhelet nods to Eyst.

Darkewolff nods at Zalinyar, obviously agreeing with her views.

Darkewolff takes a sip of his rum.

Kethrai ponders.

Kintryn grins at Kaelie.

Eyst says, "Were they just building some greater construct one might expect it to take a similar form to themselves. I'd say it speaks to something greater, something closer to personhood."

You say, "And then there's one more vision I have to discuss this evening, which I found rather intriguing."

Elurora glances at Tirost.

Ivoiry asks you, "So your visions are filled from children and mechanical things?"

Dantia gazes at Madigan.

Tirost softly asks Elurora, "You are not seriously angry with me, are you?"

Madigan grunts at Dantia.

Ryeka takes a bite of the tenderloin.

You exclaim to Ivoiry, "Sometimes!"

Gridaksma raises an eyebrow in Tirost's direction.

You say, "I smelled wildflowers and baked earth and found myself standing on an open grassy steppe. A man bent over and pared bolls of fiber from a strange bush using a short harvesting blade. Packing the dense fiber into a gathering satchel, the man wiped his hands on a canvas apron and stood stiffly, stretching his back with a grimace. The man walked over to a heavily laden ox and packed the last load of fiber into the animal's large saddlebags. Adjusting the breeching straps, the man gave the ox a friendly pat and scratch, and the pair began to slowly make their way towards the distant tree-line as the sun began to set."

Tekhelet asks Eyst, "Perhaps they're building mechnical humanoid to talk to us?"

Aislynn raises her head slightly, uttering a brief, inquiring trill.

Dantia grins at Madigan.

You say, "As the light faded, the field of bushes opened silvery-white blossoms which glowed faintly and released a sharp fragrance. The man wrapped a thick scarf around his mouth and adjusted a leather muzzle over the ox's snout. After some time, the brightness from the bushes outshone the stars, and the vision faded."

Ryeka takes a bite of the tenderloin.

Aislynn ponders.

Ivoiry asks you, "Early it was children and beaches, the traveler and more...modern?"

Eyst says to Tekhelet, "It would be nice to think they intend something more understandable than their lights."

You say, "Apparently some sort of fibrous material being harvested from some dangerous plants."

Ryeka says, "Samatak."

Ivoiry grins at Ryeka.

Ivoiry laughs!

Ryeka grins at Ivoiry, her dimples flashing into view.

Whitney grins at Ryeka.

Whitney snaps her fingers.

You say, "I'm not familiar with the plants in question, but perhaps someone will be making the material available soon."

Zalinyar says, "Poison scent."

Ivoiry grins at you.

Elurora says to Tirost, "I am. The Truth is important to me. Betlind's speech made it sound like it was all her ideas and her doing. That she was the only one willing to speak up about it. When every member of the Truthseekers worked hard, talked about our theories. And many of us, and those who came before us spoke openly about it. In fact, Betlind often cautioned us to silence when we did start to speak of it. You give her credit every time you open your mouth saying 'Betlind's theory about...' when they were not hers alone. Nor, are they ours alone. There have been many before us who came to the same ideas, spoke the same words."

Elurora says to you, "I apologize and I will leave."

Tekhelet says to Eyst, "Like you said why build a humanoid, if just to attack us. I don't think it fits."

Kethrai casually observes the area.

Ryeka says, "I was just thinking of where such a field might be."

Dantia smiles at Madigan.

Eyst says to Tekhelet, "Perhaps we'll get a glimpse of it during the next foray."

You say, "There is the clue of it appearing to be an open grassy steppe, at least."

Ryeka nods.

Gridaksma shakes his head at Tirost.

Dantia gazes at Madigan.

Anuril says, "Bushes that bloom at night, that is interesting."

Madigan grunts at Dantia.

Tirost glances at Gridaksma.

Gridaksma says, "Not wise."

Kaelie joins Madigan's group.

Cryle says to Anuril, "Many of us are such bushes."

Anuril grins at Cryle.

You say, "Bloom at night, and glow brightly. Would seem to be some magic there."

Eyst quietly says, "I must be off."

Eyst nods politely to you.

Tekhelet nods.

Kethrai says, "Or bloom as a result of damage to those bolls of fiber."

Aislynn quietly says, "And can be harvested for fibers."

Aislynn ponders.

Dantia joins Madigan's group.

Ryeka ponders.

Ruea chuckles.

Kethrai says, "If the pollen IS like a drug, it could be a useful defense."

Kintryn says to you, "They sound interesting, nonetheless."

Briaen touches the kyanite stones on his gwethdesuan.

Cryle says, "Perhaps it is a metaphor, and we truly are the bushes, lashing out at some unknown entity that is harvesting our bolls."

Madigan slowly says, "Gads."

You say to Kethrai, "Possibly, though the man didn't put on protective gear until the light began to fade."

Zalinyar snickers.

Cryle slowly says, "That... came out in a rather unintended manner."

Zalinyar grins at Cryle, her dimples flashing into view.

You chuckle.

Darkewolff takes a sip of his rum.

Madigan grins at Cryle.

You ask, "That covers the visions I had to discuss this evening. Any questions, comments, or other items to discuss?"

Ryeka ponders.

Zalinyar says, "So he knew he was harvesting from a dangerout plant, that he was prepared to deal with by having the mask for himself, and his ox. Which is also important, the poison affects animals as well."

You nod to Zalinyar.

Cryle mutters something into the air about Truffenyi.

Madigan says, "I would like to express my profound respect to all of you diving into these visions and exploring them. They are far beyond me."

Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Ezerak nods at Madigan, obviously agreeing with his views.

You smile.

Ezerak says to Madigan, "Me too."

Madigan grins at Ezerak.

Tirost says to you, "And thank you, as always, for sharing the visions."

Kintryn grins at Madigan.

Zalinyar says to Madigan, "I like trying to figure out the puzzle."

Zalinyar smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Navesi nods.

Madigan nods to Zalinyar.

Anuril praises you.

Tekhelet says to you, "Thank you."

Tirost smiles at Zalinyar.

Kintryn says to you, "Aye, Thank you."

Navesi says, "Yes, thank you, as always, Visionist."

Kintryn curtsies.

You say, "Anybody can have some potential insight, if the visions touch on an area they are familiar with."

Darkewolff ponders.

Ayrell says to you, "Yes, it has been an enlightening meeting, as always."

Fugo ponders.

Madigan says to Zalinyar, "I think you, and many others here, are very good at it. Thank you."

Ezerak says, "I think I'm going to order a plate codpiece, just in case that one is right."

Cryle raises her palms skyward, chanting.

Zalinyar stands up.

Darkewolff inhales a great swallow of air.

Tirost laughs softly, trying to hide his amusement.

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Ayrell looks thoughtfully at Ezerak.

Darkewolff slowly empties his lungs.

Zalinyar curtsies to Madigan.

Madigan chuckles at Ezerak.

Kaelie wrinkles her nose.

Madigan praises Zalinyar.

Zalinyar says to Madigan, "Thank you."

Nsar takes a sip of his sherry.

Kaelie guzzles down some of her champagne and then smacks her lips and wipes them with her sleeve.

Tirost takes a sip of his brandy.

Kaelie guzzles down some of her champagne and then smacks her lips and wipes them with her sleeve.

Fugo peers through the crimson Moongate.

Aislynn nods to Kethrai.

You say, "A note, for those interested in events around Ilithi... In the near future I will be hosting a town hall, for people to discuss current and upcoming events, raise concerns, ask questions, that kind of thing."

Aislynn nods to Anuril.

Ryeka peers through the crimson Moongate.

Ryeka nods to you.

Zalinyar smiles at you, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Tirost nods to you.

Madigan praises you.

Darkewolff nods to you.

Ryeka says, "I'll try to be there."

Kaelie says to you, "Looking forward to them."

Fugo nods in agreement.

Zalinyar giggles at Darkewolff.

Darkewolff stands up.

You say, "And with that, I'll say thank you all for coming, and I hope you have a nice day."
