Light
The light enchantment is created through holy magic and allows you to illuminate dark rooms while activated and held. Current versions seem to have no charges, nor a cooldown.
Focus
You focus your magical senses on X.
The X has a definite magical pattern deep within its structure.
You recognize the pattern as a manifestation of Holy magic.
The magic is fairly strong, and appears to mimic magics that affect light in the immediate area.
Verbs
Note: Not yet confirmed if all light enchantment items have these verbs. Information taken from the stout iron staff topped with a skeletal claw from Gnome quest.
Fluff Verbs
CLEAN: You carefully look over your X, cleaning off small bits of dirt and grime that have collected over time.
HUG: Making sure to point the explosive end away from your head, you give your X a mighty hug!
KISS: Puckering up your lips, you give your X a quick smooch! It sparks in response!
PAT: You give your X a gentle pat. Brilliant sparks arc out at your touch.
- If it is lit: You give your iron staff a gentle pat, causing the light surrounding you to extinguish completely.
- If it is lit: You give your iron staff a gentle pat, causing the light surrounding you to extinguish completely.
RUB: You run your hand along the length of the X, checking for any imperfections in its craftsmanship. Satisfied that it isn't going to snap, you give it a gentle pat, sending small sparks arcing out.
SHAKE: You give your X a good shake, sending small sparks of light flying all around.
WAVE: With an impressive display of skill, you wave your X above your head and around behind you. Vibrant multicolored sparks arc out from the X.
Ability Verbs
TAP: A fierce white light flares out from the X's surface as you gently tap it, bathing the area in its light.
A short while after, the following occurs:
The fierce white light around you flickers violently, as if caught in the winds of a raging storm. When it calms, a strong blue glow is all that remains.
And a bit longer after this, the following occurs:
The blue glow around you dims. Though it had only been a weak light, the immediate area appears much darker than before.
Eventually...
The dull blue glow surrounding you fades away completely.
