Description

You see Bloodwraith Katoak, Deadly Shadow of Damaris, an Elf who is enwreathed in vaporous shadows.

"The night is dark and full of terrors"

A gauzy black scarf edged with dark silver satin is folded to obscure Katoak's face, hiding all but a narrow strip of midnight black skin around his eyes.

He is wearing a sweeping dendritic cloak of living vines strewn with small Dragon Spine orchids, a sleek black assassin bug with a serrated beak, a tenebrous demonbone-backed assassin's longbow adorned with serrated tips, a sleek diacan repeating arbalest with a wickedly curved lathe, a shadowy thornweave lootsack stitched with tomiek scorpions and riftstones, a worn grey hitman's backpack with fraying straps, some demonbone elbow blades composed of a trio of spines, a demonscale shield tooled with a shadowy crest and secured by thornweave straps, a demonbone wrist knife with a blackened edge, a woven demonscale armwrap secured by a pair of brass rings, some razor-edged handwraps affixed with sharpened demonbone, some shadowleaf assassin's gauntlets with tapered cuffs, a sleek sword belt with a silversteel longsword and a silversteel assassin's blade hanging from it, a shadowy black quiver with a white ironwood clasp, some black pants with writhing shadows encircling the hems and some demonscale prowling boots fastened with thornweave and demonbone toggles.

Custom Login/Logout Messages

The sound of a stone skipping in the shadows draws your attention for a moment, then suddenly Katoak is standing before you.

You are distracted for just a moment by a sharp whistle from the shadows. You look back towards Katoak, but he is simply no longer there.

Custom Depart Messages

A blade spider skitters into the area and stares at Katoak's corpse with multi-faceted eyes. Carefully, the arachnid wraps the body up completely in spidersilk before dragging the neatly bundled package away.

Alterations

rugged thornweave satchel fastened with shadow emerald scorpions

demonscale shield tooled with a shadowy crest and secured by thornweave straps

  • Look: Thick strips of midnight-blue demonscale are woven into a dense mat to provide rigid protection and secured by thornweave straps that can be adjusted to allow the shield to be worn over the shoulder or on the forearm. Barely visible, a shadowy crest is tooled in the center of the shield. A faint inscription can be seen sewn inside of the shield.

demonscale prowling boots fastened with thornweave and demonbone toggles

  • Look: Thick, layered demonscale forms a set of shadowy midnight-blue boots secured by crimson thornweave laces. Toggles made from bleached, carved demonbone fasten a leather cover to protect the boots from untying at inopportune moments. Extra padding serves for comfort as much as it does to soften the wearer's steps. Sanguine stains sully the toes of the boots. A faint inscription can be seen above the heels.

tenebrous demonbone-backed assassin's longbow adorned with serrated tips (crafted azurelle battle longbow)

  • Look: Highly-prized by artisans for its unique tiny veins of chalky white swirls against a tenebrous surface, the masterfully crafted demonbone is polished to a gleaming luster. At the ends of the battle longbow are tiny inlaid blades honed to a lethal point to protect against approaching foes. A faint inscription can be seen above the grip.

shadowy thornweave lootsack stitched with tomiek scorpions and riftstones

  • Look: Adroitly stitched together, the thornweave cloth is cut and sewn in a way that mimics the appearance of several matte-black carapaces joined together. An unbroken chain of miniature tomiek scorpions circumnavigates the lootsack's exterior, rising and falling in an undulating pattern. Linked at their claws and tails, each pair of scorpions clasps onto a tiny piece of riftstone, the natural luminescent inclusion contained deep within each stone rippling jaggedly when viewed at varying angles.
