Look: The tiny red apple moth's forewings are only about as long as a typical Gnome's pinky, with a peachy-red area at the base, distinguishable from a much darker, maroon-red area at the tip. This one also has a "fan" of large scales at the tail end of the abdomen. The hindwings are a mottled, pale orange, but are hidden beneath the folded forewings and only visible when the moth is not at rest, or under close scrutiny.

A marvel of craftsmanship, the moth is wound by means of a shiny metal key. It looks to be in pristine condition.
