Look:	Large bodied, the bird's long neck ends in a small head with a sharply pointed bill. Its crest, composed of numerous feathers with bare black shafts, is split down the middle, one half displaying vibrant blue-green hues while the other half is stark white. The striking coloration continues along its body, wings and impressively huge, fan-shaped tail. Pure white feathers mottle the otherwise gem-bright, iridescent plumage, giving the bird a distinctive pied appearance.
