You are Helvet, an Elf. You have a triangular face, pointed ears, brown eyes and a small nose. Your brown hair is short and straight. You have blue-veined skin and a stout build. You are short for an Elf. You are young.

I don't use scripts, for anything.

Background

Helvet grew up an outcast among a group of traveling dwarves that loved drink, song and dance. A rough group that enjoyed bacchanal parties just as much as hard work, Helvet learned much about life from a very different perspective than most. Silvyrfrost picked up Helvet when the traveling troupe passed through the Crossings during a period of magical unrest when Helvet began to lose control of his magical aptitude due to the wild magic surge. Taken under the wing of the red-haired songstress, Helvet learned much about his elemental attunement and how to weave the waves of sound in the atmosphere to the benefit, or detriment, of his surroundings. Still under the tutelage and close watch of Silvyrfrost's dreamy, mismatched silver and crystal blue eyes, Helvet had room to grow amongst the citizens of Zoluren.

During his travels with his dwarven troupe, Helvet stuck out like a sore thumb amongst his brethren. Surrounded by sturdy dwarves wearing chainmail and plate armor, Helvet chose to honor his elven ancestry and wear cloth armor. It was a sight to behold, a short elf awkwardly stumbling around with platemail getting beaten down by creatures of all kinds. Much of his childhood was spent thickening his skin, with many scars full of stories to tell sitting around a campfire. He adapted into wearing the spare fabrics procured every so often that would only go towards repairing clothing and bags for his family. Waste not, want not. He fights with a staff that he swings like lightning to strike down any foe in his path. Once he even smashed a Celpeze head into a fine red mist with his quarterstaff! I swear it's true! If at all disarmed, Helvet is skilled with his bare hands and feet in brawling. His old troupe would participate in drunken dwarven brawling and he never forgot how to fight without weaponry. He also carrys a cutlass for backup in the event an enemy cannot be bested with impact damage.

With a taste for diversity, Helvet trains many survival skills unusual for his guild, including outdoorsmanship, locksmithing, and skinning. It was adventageous to be a jack of all trades when in a dwarven troupe of musicians who all seemed to need a little rounding out. After spending some time on the island of Ratha, Helvet began to get homesick and picked up a heavy blunt weapon to remind himself of his heritage back home. Swinging an iron chain brings back memories of his allies and friends wielding hammers and mattocks.

History

451 - The Crossings was home to the beginning of Helvet's adventure, being greeted by many players and denizens of Zoluren throughout the city and area proper. One particular person, Amabalis, was kind enough to gift Helvet some clothing and an instrument. Fighting and training his way up the ladder from ship's rats, to foraging goblins and field goblins, goblin shamans, finally to beisswurms, Helvet decided to head to the islands to train in solitude. After arriving on Ratha for the first time, he discovered a rare weapon in the Bard's guild on the donation shelf crafted by another player (a slender quarterstaff carved from smokewood and reinforced with audrualm tips). A weapon to be contended with, both in rarity, lightweightedness and damage, Helvet began hunting up the ladder from sand sprites, into silver leucros, followed by razortusk boars and sows into bawdy swains and kra'hei hatchlings.

He frequents the Golden Lyre club and the theatre room to play the instruments that are stationary there, as well as Truffenyi's Green and Kygar's Pub. After becoming homesick, he became a citizen of Qi'Reshalia and made a home on the streets and sands of Ratha, enjoying the sea salt spray and remote environment.
