Fynes is a fanatic follower of Phelim who seeks to convert non-believers by sword. According to Outcast King Raenilar, Fyne's mother was a member of the Outcast Tribe and his father unknown, possibly Sand Elf. At the moment of Fynes' birth their small encampment was attacked and as he was born his mother was killed. He was raised by other kin. He has an extreme dislike for slavers and sand elves, possibly related to his mother's murder.
