[Sraan's Home]
A mild scent of grilling steak fills this rustic hideaway. Its carpet-covered golden oak jigsaw pattern floor supports a deep-filled sandpit with a carved wooden frame and a black obsidian altar, and the area is enclosed by faux ivy and violet painted walls. A small firepit burns near the far wall with a drab oil painting hanging above it.
You also see a thick-framed pale oak window with a beveled slate sill, a fine-grained holly oak door, an elegant oak and brass armor stand, a brass-trimmed oak weapon rack and a gold-striped ivory silk cushion that is facing the altar.
On the obsidian altar you see a nehlata (dagger).
On the deep-filled sandpit you see a sea-green cotton blanket and a down-filled striped cotton pillow. Under the deep-filled sandpit you see a scallop-edged whitework quilt.
On the violet painted wall you see a drab oil painting, a bronze Ushnish etching and a large map of the five provinces.
(drab oil painting) - An immense army of steel-clad S'Kra Dragon Priests, just appearing around the bend of a large mountain, march towards a magnificent crystal-walled city with a colossal silver tower rising out of the center. The steel gate to the western wall is being feverishly cranked shut, and ill-prepared Elothean and Elven soldiers, most not fully armored, run to man the breadth of the battlements. The city folk rush about madly, running to their homes in panic and barricading the doors. A drab oil painting reads: The Fury of the Dragon Priests.
(large map of the five provinces) - This map shows the entire five provinces, as Lanival first created them several hundred years ago. Many old and unfamiliar names dot this map in place of their more common newer ones, such as Darkstone for Dirge, but it more or less looks like the same as it is today.
