Elizzibiana/Performance/Guttersnipe
"Guttersnipe" was written off the cuff and first performed a cappella at the Bardic Discussion, many thanks to those in attendance for allowing Elizz to break their eardrums.
you say sarcastically, "Just something I threw together recently, its roughly titled "Guttersnipe".
You lean against the bar and stare off at someone in the distance.
You sing sassily, "He used to roar with axe in hand, a wild dog loose across the land."
You sing stupidly, "No code, no crown, no lord to heed. Just war and wine and reckless ways."
You glance down at the boards and frown.
You sing slyly, "So raise your mug and don't ask why, He drinks like he's already died."
You sing mockingly, "From blood-soaked fields to back-alley grief, the barbarian's now a gutter thief and beyond belief."
You glance about then spit in the spittoon in disgust.
You sing pityingly, "Lost his gold and lost his name, cheated steel for a quieter game."
You sing dourly, "Now he slips through window light, fingers others pouches without shame. As others boast and brawl and fight with honor."
You sing slyly, "So raise your mug and don't ask why, He drinks like he's already died."
You stare off in the distance.
You sing mockingly, "From blood-soaked fields to back-alley grief, the barbarian's now a gutter thief and beyond belief."
You sing icily, "He's lost more than you could believe."
You sing stupidly, "That broken, stupid, wandering guttersnipe."
You lean forward and mutter, "all for a few coins".
