Favored by Sand Elves, the dao is a sword 24 inches long and 4 inches wide, weighing about 25 stones. It is honed on both edges, but has no point to it, similar to a short sword. The edges of the blade are serrated in a jagged saw-tooth pattern -- showy, but effective.[1]
