Overview

Since opening, two shops have closed and departed, both at the same time. According to a recent post, the shop Jewelry In Phases was not supposed to be included in this festival and was yanked as soon as it was realized that it was. The second shop, Never Too Late, is a shop geared exclusively to weddings and was likely pulled for the same reason.

Original Description

In the past, merchants have celebrated the appearance of Chris's Mass by opening special shops all over the realms. A group of loyal followers of Divyaush have approached the merchants and asked them to coordinate their shops a bit more than usual, and to celebrate their patron deity.

The fest will continue to be something of a disorganized and uncoordinated event with the appearance and disappearance of merchants according to their own whims and schedules. There is no official start date for the fest, but it will be running through some time on January 4, 2010.

Not all of the merchants have acquiesced to the request to join the celebration, but some have to various degrees. Many of the shops will appear near wedding portals. News 4 1 gives the following locations for wedding portals: Therenborough (town gate), Langenfirth (near the Landing), Rossman's Landing (in front of the church), Riverhaven (town square), Crossing (the Strand on the south side of town), Leth Deriel (Sana'ati Dyaus tree), Shard (east gate), Ratha (Port Walk), Mer'Kresh (the Carillon), Aesry Surlaenis'a (the Faenella prayer gate), Inner Hibarnhvidar (Main Cavern by the sculpture), Ain Ghazal Chateau (Foyer).

The fest is free for everyone to enjoy.

Loyal followers of Divyaush extend their thanks to the Wedding Team for their contribution to this year's fest.

Location

The festival shops are located in multiple places:

  • Just outside of the Ancient Tower west of Crossings
  • In the Winter Wonderland through any of the Wedding Portals found in most major cities. Check NEWS 4 1 for locations. Once inside Winter Wonderland, there are two roads on which there lie shops. Climbing the steps upon entry through the portal will put you on the main road. From there, going East once you will also see a Garden Gate. Through that gate lies the second road with shops.
  • Past the new housing area on the Strand in Crossing. To reach the housing area, start from the wedding portal and head SE, GO VERANDA, GO FOOTPATH. The shops are all located down a path and through a gate at the far end of the housing section. This shop area is a premium-only area , but for the duration of the festival, non-premium players may access it.
  • Tisk's Wagon has moved to Riverhaven Town Square for the festival. This merchant is a semi-permanent fixture, moving around Elanthia every few months or so, and will likely remain after the festival's completion.
