Chimes of Disruption

A powerful enchanted artifact, the Chimes of Disruption infused an item with sonic energy, which disrupted its physical makeup. In this state, the core of the item could easily be merged with enchantments or spells. The Chimes cannot be used with anything, for if an item is of weak material, the pitch of sound will shatter the item and wound its holder.
