Catapult
A catapult is a large siege weapon designed to hurl heavy projectiles, such as rocks, over great distances to damage fortifications, or enemy positions[1].
Occasionally, catapults for fun can be found at festivals like Guildfest to launch rocks or players through the air to another room.
Description
The frame of the catapult is composed of a thick wood rectangles laid flat on the ground. Two holes are bored into each side of the frame through which skeins of rope are threaded. In the middle of the sinew ropes is the throwing arm with its attached basket. A lever attached to one side is used to tighten the torsion ropes.
